Sheila tells Natalie her speech was great. Ryan says James speech was great too. Joshuah's outside talking smack about Sheila kissing up to James now, in case he wins HoH...
No great tremors or repercussions happening... I'm assuming everything went as planned and Sharon is the ReNom... otherwise, someone would be fuming or crying.

Inside, James is saying, while looking at Natalie, "If I do make it to the final 3, I want people next to me that are gonna push me to the max. That I think is important in this game. If you're just gonna go the easy route... It's not about the money, it's about the journey."

Oddly I miss chelsia today. Not sure why other then I liked her in the game.

I think Natalie would be better off aligning herself with James, Josh and Sharon and putting up Adam or Ryan. Fact is.. those two are so tight they're likely to make it to the end! and if they do... Ryan will win. I think he's the biggest threat!
The order that i think it will go ... Josh, James, Sheila, Sharon, Natalie..and Adam & Ryan in the end - Ryan will win! its a no brainer!

I am very confused as to why they are not 'back-dooring' James! This is the 3rd week in a row they could have had him out. Why don't they just back-door him?

LMAO at what ShEVILa is thinking. Probably will find out soon, though. She hasn't been able to keep her frikkin' mouth shut to this point, don't know why she would start now -- especially since Jamesy threw down the gauntlet of "knowing what the game is about" (and thereby inferring that ==OMG== ShEVILa didn't).
Someone with the view that Sharon would win if she happens to make it to F2. I just don't see it. (Of course, hopefully she walks out the door and meets Julie on Wednesday but in case...)
It seems to me in every past season that once the jury starts discussing who should win they get with the real game and forgive the sins of the ones that got them out of the game. Sharon is sugar and spice and everything nice, but she lays in bed and she talks to the beebees. What else has she done in the game besides keep Joshuah at bay when he was close to blowing up at someone? I don't see her game at all. Sure she has supported Joshuah, and has been friends with James and Chelsia, but I think it is more because the 'good people' didn't ask her to join in any of their reindeer games.
I can't recall a nice person ever winning up against a strong player in the game. But I have a very short memory when convenient.
Please, speak up, someone on the Sharon will take the $500K bandwagon. I'm very curious how you come to that conclusion.
I can only see Sharon winning against Shrilla. And that is more out of hope and not thinking with my BB cap on probably.
I really hope they dont vote out Josh he make the house fun.

If there is a double eviction will the two nominees get a chance to play POV or will everybody at least get a shot at HOH? Otherwise it is really not fair to all players, especially those who are on an island. For example-if James wins HOH this week and then they go into DE, he can't play HOH and won't have a shot at POV. In that case they may as well do away with the competition, the nom ceremony and the votes. Just pack James' bags and send him out the door.
Also, in your expert opinion-if Sharon stays do you think she will stick with "the girls" or go back to James.

anon@1:08pm - They can't "backdoor" James because he won the power of veto, and he is therefor safe from being on the block this week. He took himself off the block during the veto ceremony just now...
Also, it wouldn't be "Backdooring" him, because anyone who has the opportunity to play for Veto has the chance to win it.
BackDooring refers to someone who is an original target, not nominated in the original nomination, does not get the chance to play for veto, and is thereby Backdoored into the nomination seat.

In the past, the Fast Forward or Double Eviction weeks have worked as follows:
Lets base the example on this week, just for easy reference (not a prediction at all)...
One of Natalie's nominees, Josh and Sharon, will be evicted. Then Julie will tell the houseguests that they're about to have a fast forward week, and HoH, Veto, Veto Ceremony and Eviction will all play out within a matter of 30 or so minutes.
Natalie, having been the last HoH would not be eligible to play for HoH. Whichever of her nominees that remained in the house, however, would be.
It's a new week begun...
All of the eligible HGs would play. He or She who won HoH would make immediate nominations.
A PoV Comp may or may not ensue (it's not guaranteed)...
Then the HGs vote out whichever of the new nominees (put up by the new HoH) they choose...
Up and out the door, lickety split.
Within the next little while, there would be another HoH comp to determine the HoH who would reign for the rest of the week... and make new nominees...

I hope sharon gets nom...Natile should've put up josh and sharon to begin with, that would've been an unstoppable alliance if nat and james actually worked together...but I think she screwed herself with that vote when she put him up...PS I love this blog! As i recall - the 'hate james fest' started when he put nat & matt up after "giving his word" that he wouldn't, and then sealed the deal when he put matt up after the again giving his word to nat that he wouldn't during the disco ball endurance comp. Before that he was still flying under the radar.
If all the HGs were honest about it, every one of them have gone back on their word and schemed against each other ... it was interesting watching Nat's vehement statement about how God would only let the right prevail ... that from someone who thinks there are 27 letters in the alphabet.
James become the common enemy because he's a strong player and threatened the group. He's alternative in style and attitude (the dude's got pink hair, is unemployed, and is biking around the world) as compared to the more popular eye-candy type HGs (the ones the network chose more for looks than for game) Nat, Matt, Alex, Amanda, Jen etc ... Oh yeah, and there's also the christian element this season ... he's not a bible buddy.
Luckily, james has game and keeps things on edge ... luv him or hate him, the show is a lot more interesting with pinky stirring the pot.

From what I've seen on the feeds Josh was approached by Ryan and eventually Adam and Natalie after James won the POV with Ryan telling him he wanted Josh to stay. Of course Josh wants that to be the case. He is playing for himself. He agreed to deals to stay, but he did not start truly campaigning (it was brought up by others first). Sheila gets wind of it and freaks and runs to Sharon telling her Josh is campaigning hard and throwing Sharon under the bus. Did Sharon really think Josh would just roll over and leave without making an effort at all especially considering Sharon is only in the game because of Josh. When Sheila told that to Sharon she began to spew everything she knew or thought to be true about Josh and James (and some stuff she's twisting). Sharon is the one who truly threw Josh under the bus. It's amazing that she thinks she is the only one deserving to be in the game with the "good" people.
What I would love to happen is a Janelle and Erika moment from BB7 where Josh and Sharon would finally talk and discover that they are both being promised the same things from the same people (as Sharon especially seems to believe that Sheila is her new best friend). Then have one of those favorite "calling out" sessions. I think it would put a few more dents in the "good people" alliance as some has been done behind each other's back as well. I'd rather see Sharon go this week as she is truly one of the biggest floaters in the game.
As far as getting rid of Josh devastating James to the point that he won't function well for HOH, I'm not buying that one. I really don't think Chelsia being voted out hurt his HOH game. That was the type game that throws most of the houseguests each time they play it. It's more of a crapshoot than skill or knowing the game. Getting James riled up will most likely make him play harder assuming it's either a typical HOH or endurance HOH. I am totally not rooting for James to win, but I am ready for someone outside the N/R/A/S group to win HOH - I can't stomach them in power much more as it has seriously gone to their head!

Finally, remember this is a game. Try to appreciate those people who are actually "playing" the game. Maybe they aren't playing it the way you would, but that doesn't make them such "evil" creatures as you've made James out to be. You can always apply for the next season and then show people how the game should really be played.

It's telling that so many feel the need to use the descriptor "gay" in front of "porn" when discussing James' work in the pornography industry--as if it's (more) morally offensive because it's gay. Slander and bigotry can be dressed up with polite words (or the avoidance of "foul" ones), but the thought pattern remains the same. Personally, I'm not fooled by that tactic, thought many posters seem to think it's an invisible--or at least socially acceptable--way to express their unwarranted prejudices.

I'm so tired of seeing the word "porn" preceded by the word "gay."
Like "Beorn @ 3:32," I find it to be nothing but a very poorly disguised homophobic bias.
I don't believe any of the posters to this site would have a problem if the porn-objecting posters were to refer to James' "porn," however, making a special point of the type of porn is obnoxious. Especially when those same posters never seem to have a problem with Sheila's Penthouse "spread."

Not for the bias towards James that I'm guessing you'll be falsely accused of, nor even for the job you do with this blog (though that would certainly qualify you for the label)--but for being so unwilling to tolerate misogyny, homophobia, racism, and other bigotries here. I am sure that you are simply enacting your personal beliefs, but I'm just as sure that you're making a difference in the lives of people who visit here--especially anyone who needs a reminder that just, kind people are everywhere. After reading the posts, i started thinking about Allison. I think she should have formed an alliance with J/J/S/C/R and evicted Mattalie , and they would have made the final 6. I know i know just a theory. Its not i dont like the others but i refuse to support Team Christ (nothing to do with religion, just the name i dislike)

You're so right. AND, James was the first HG to get backdoored while being lied to, to his face. The fact that Natalie didn't do it to him personally is not the point. James was not the first person to lie about what he was going to do. That was Ryan, supported by a smug and gloating attitude towards James by Matty.
Also, I may be wrong in the chain of events, but wasn't Natalie's betrayal of Josh, James, Chelsia, Sharon & Sheila the catalyst for James' being backdoored?
Like I said, I'm not sure. However, I do know Natalie was the first one to betray James (along with the others) by revealing the plan to get rid of Matty. Since the whole plan to get rid of Matty was in order to protect Natalie from Matty's abuse, I find her betrayal especially heinous. She revealed their plan after she had promised them, to their faces, that she would not do so.
Anybody who hates James because he betrayed Natalie needs to remember Natalie's treachery and betrayal. Oh, excuse me, they need to remember Natalie's "acting." I forgot she wasn't "lying," she was "acting."

Strategy Only Please
Team Christ consists of Natalie, Ryan and Adam-Sheila is only being kept so they can retain majority vote. No one knows who will win HOH next week or who will stay true to their word. Looking at the situation as it stands and planning for the next HOH: If anyone on TC wins they can nominate James/Josh or James/Sharon for eviction. If James wins another POV they still control who goes home with a 2:1 vote and take out another person from the "bad" side of the house. If they keep Sharon and she wins HOH she may put up James but will not put up Sheila. Most likely Adam or Ryan. If James wins POV Adam vs. Ryan and one of them goes home. Keep Josh-he wins HOH-he probably would not put up James but will almost definitely put up Sheila against Adam or Ryan. Sheila stands almost no chance of winning POV. TC still controls the vote and Sheila goes home. Keep Sharon-quite possible to lose Adam or Ryan. Keep Josh-almost guaranteed to lose Sheila. This is one week that by giving J&J what they want they could actually be helping themselves. I don't want anyone on TC to win, but still...they need to quit thinking that James is their only target and realize that even after next week there are still 4 people that need to go home. They need to keep Josh. Keeping Sharon may open the door to Sheila making final 2. Sidenote: On the fat chance that Sheila wins HOH: with James and Josh still in the house, there are her 2 nominees. Even if one wins POV they still have 2:1 vote to evict the other. She won't put Sharon up. She would put James against Adam or Ryan. If James wins POV we go right back to Adam and Ryan on the block.

And now I'm gonna riff and ramble on what's come before: _I_ need to work on my own issues: I think I'm generally pretty good at the whole empathy thing, but there's something about BB that just erases nice Dave (that's my everyday alter ego--lol) almost every time I watch these people. For example, regardless of what I feel about her behavior in the house, I just think I shouldn't feel so strongly negative about Natalie. I've had some pretty vicious thoughts about her and Sheila in particular. It disturbs me, and I can't quite figure out what's getting short-circuited. Oh well; personal problem for me to solve. As soon as I finish this dang paper I'm writing...

I like james, but JAMES IS SUCH A POSER!!! LOL i have to laugh at James' "Its not about the money its about the journey" attitude. He has this attitude in the game and he APPARENTLY has that attitude in life. SSOOOOO.. my question is: Did James participate in gay porn for the "GAY PORN EXPERIENCE" or did he actually do it for the money??? And his bike trip is sponsered... ANNNNNNDDD... watch his "PINK BUS" videos, specifically "Bridge Jump" from 1:00-1:15 min, lol he talks about living for beauty and his friend calls him out on this and James replies "haha alright alright i'm living for the money"...
I think the main problem with James is that he is always on a high horse and preaching his moral high ground but as soon as he turns around he will be the first to do something against everything he 'stands for'. He always preaches about how money doesn't mean anything and that he tries to be true and real while playing the game. He also says that he is the only one who has kept their word and the list goes on. He has lied, physically acted out towards people, verbally abused people, etc. I fail to see how he has any room to talk about anyone else's behavior.
Every time he is on the block he says the same thing "just don't backdoor me, that's all I ask for. Just be real with me and tell me if I'm going up." When he has tried to backdoor people (he can cry because his attempt failed.. but he still tried!), has lied to people about votes, and doesn't tell people who hes voting for.
Another thing is that him, Chelsia, and Josh have continuously made fun of Nat's stripping or abortions. James has no room to talk about stripping since he does porn. Abortion is a view that usually comes down to what you believe in. I am surprised that Josh of all people, a gay man, would belittle Nat for having an abortion. No one in the house has ever made fun of James for being homeless or Joshua for being a homosexual, yet they can make fun of everyone else? I don't get it. Also, Chelsia and James slept with each other and 'hooked up' a lot throughout the show but they talk down to Natalie for hooking up with Matt?
J/J/C made fun of everyone's reactions when they were on the block if the person got the least bit upset yet they are the ones who had the worst lash-outs while being on the block. James and the pickle juice as well as verbally abusing Natalie. Chelsia.. well I think everyone knows what she did. Josh looks like he's about to attend a funeral and wants everyone to feel sorry for him, it's pathetic.
When James was nominated and blew up at Sheila you saw how mean spirited he was. He preaches how he doesn't talk about anyone to their back but he constantly bad mouths Adam and Ryan, the two people he claims to be friends with to their faces.
I am not a Natalie nor Sheila fan BUT I don't think that anyone deserves the abuse that Natalie has gone through. The things that J/J/C have said to her are beyond the line and it doesn't matter that this is a game for $500k, no one but that "team" has said anything that vile towards anyone. It's funny though, the two people (james/josh) who have the most controversial lifestyles talk the most smack about the others personal lives.
Just for a bit of perspective ... the "porn" industry in the U.S. (including various legal sex related arenas) is worth approximately $14 billion per year - more than any major sport (yes, more than football or baseball).
Clearly, Americans, whether they admit it or not, like porn. When you Judge James or Sheila (and when Sheila herself judges Chelsia), realize you are judging the largest “leisure pastime” in our country. Good luck with that.

ya, that's believable...considering everything james has said is a LIE. He's full of $h*t, if he got HOH guaranteed Ryan and Nat(the 2 remaining good players of the game) would go up.. I can't wait til he leaves.
James is a fraud. Everything he's told the people in the house is a lie, and I'm not talking about disclosing personal information, like the mistakes Nat has made, but just simple stuff about his life. He told 3 different 3 different stories on how he came to the show, the website he claims is his about his "cycling travels around the country" is BS, it's someone else's site, or how about the story he told the boys about him being a power lifter!! LOL WOW OKAY JAMES. It baffles me that people would even root for this guy, he's not genuine, he's not straight up like people try to convince themselves when watching this show. He's a little sh*t talking punk & loves to make his BS speeches to the HGs about how upfront he is, shut up clown. Stopacting like your master of the game. I can't wait to see him go
One more James Lover here! He is very motivated for a 21 year old. Who else here would bike around the world with a hundred bucks in there pocket! I freak when I only have a hundred in mine...

He is quick to think on his feet, cares for people who he really doesn't(didn't know) know, and I commend him for that! Plus Three POV's in a row, and two HOH's! No one else in this house has done that, or am I watching a different show then everyone else?

This is linked to his name.... but the article I found dated April 2005 says that his 'pattern of fraudulent conduct extends back to the early 1980's' which means James was pretty damn smart ... um ... BABY!!

esco at 4:36...my thoughts exactly on james! and why is it okay to bash the bible lovers and the other hgs, but if you say anything about james commenters attack and cry prejudice! lol. it reminds me of when janelle was an hg. if you weren't a jani fan you were immediately attacked as being 'jealous.' right. let's remember that this is a game, and these are the players...and we are ALL entitled to have opinions on those players, good and bad. that's part of the glory of BB!our love/hate relationship with the personalities in the house!
