If I was Ryan, I would have nominated Matt & Josh (two strong players). I don't know why Ryan wants Sharon out so bad. She was only strong because she was partnered with Josh.

i am no fan of josh..so he should be worried..and appalled after he sees himself on tv...the name calling he did..truly cruel.. i dont care who comes back i just want to see an exciting show and its kinda boring without allison to liven it up..i know she is a bit much BUT she brought alot to the show and for entertainment please bring her back! hehe! as far as noms..sharon is a very strong player..and you can crush josh by getting her out..so i thought it was a good move. she keeps him even tempered i think without her he might be ON EDGE.. it will b fun to see how this all plays out..you never know? one day one person is going home and the next they somehoe redeem themselves..? He's a young, straight guy who needs to grow up some and needs to outgrow some of the insecurity that causes some of the attitudes he expressed.

Alex DID do his strategy that someone mentioned... and failed miserably. That guys strategy was HORRIBLE too... you NEVER make a huge alliance when entering the game (Alex's friends strategy)

Yes... I really would like Alex back into the house, but it just really would secure the Ryan/Matt/Adam alliance, force James to stick with them too. I have to vote for Amanda, she will align with Josh/Sharon/James...
I think if the votes stay the same, Chelsia is gone. I think James might toss her because he even admits to Josh he doesn't trust her. I also think if they can manage to pull Sharon or Chelsia off, keep Josh/James off, they can get the other person off.

I think the goal was to put up Sharan against Chelsia and have the house vote to get Sharon out or backdoor Josh in the process. Ryan stated in the room he would tell everyone not to vote against Chelsia or they would be a target next week. I am pretty sure I heard that right. He wants to keep the nom the same but in the case Sharon won pov he would BD josh.
Actually.. it was where I put it. Oh well.
BTW - and this is in no way relating to the noms but I forgot to mention it last night...
I was SOOOO disappointed that we didn't get to see Josh and nat "holy matrimony" (her words for their "blessing" of the house). That had to have been one of the funniest and most entertaining events I've ever seen in the 9 seasons of this show - and they left it on the cutting room floor!

I think this is such a wasteful pair of noms. And shame on James for encouraging Ryan to put up Chels. Doesn't he know that not only leaves him out one ally in the house (b/c she is the stronger threat of the two noms stay the same) and when she gets out and sees that he was behind this he'll have a harder time of being with her then too! What's he thinking? What's everyone thinking? I want to vote for Cirie from Survivor to enter this game.

Tiffany, I too thought the funniest thing ever was the blessing of the house. I laughed so hard. I really believe that the television audience is being mislead and I have a feeling this is going to lead to someone like Allison, Jen or Parker coming back in. Oh gosh no! Stop the insanity......
P.S. I could see Allison now if voted back in walking around the house gloating and saying how she was america's fav. NOT....
I thought Sharon was the target as a way of weakening Josh without taking him out. I am not sure if Ryan fears the Wrath of Psycho Josh, or sees him as a potential Bro.
Of course, maybe Sharon is the target since the target has to be a chick, and Sheila is too non-threatening, Matt "runs" Natalie and James is into Chelsia, and Sharon is the only one left. This makes more sense to me.
I suspect that Chelsia may be leaving if she doesn't get POV, to keep James in line with the Bros. Whether that works is another issue.
Natalie and Sheila would be thrilled to see Allison walk in at this point, right?

This games is about two sides - the weak and the strong/the girls verses the guys. BUT... Why doesn't anyone see that Matt needs to go! If the guys get the girls out, that leaves Matt around to bowl the rest of the guys down since he has already proved he can do it! Someone in that house needs to WAKE UP!!

Quit it. Your blog, you do whatever you please (re: Alex). I don't fault you one bit. You can plaster his pic as the background for all I care. But since you are generous enough to give us a (fairly) wide open forum to blather away, I'm gonna state the case I believe in. We just have different opinions on this one. Last summer I was right with you against all the railing Donato haters.
I'm not making this personal nor taking it personally. I'm not calling anyone who votes for Alex any sort of names or labeling them, I'm just trying to paint the picture of a house/show/game with Alex in it. It's just fun. Our own "game within the game" (umm.. © Jane.. I think).
But I did put it under the "official nomination" post to talk about how these noms are going to continue to go if you put a strong "Bro-lliance" in the house, this late in the game.
I do think anything to help Matt further along, is a bad thing. He's a jerkoff. And I think Alex will be the last one to go in there and abate him. If anything, Alex will go in and help out Matt long enough to get a stiff kick in the ass out the door in a few weeks (we all saw the "Matt's campaigning against you" debacle). The kid just doesn't have what it takes in any aspect.
He and his game are weak sauce.

Matt's alliance is in power. So he is safe this week. If you don't like the Big Brother Frat House, vote in a gal. Preferably one who does not need the attention from the Bros to feel good about herself.

What would majorly suck is if Joshuah is backdoored (and, like one Dustin, is the first into jury sequester) and Alli is voted in and he elaves before she arrives. THAT would be a shame.

Just a question... How does PoV work if it is played? Say a non-nominated player wins and then removes a nom. Can the HOH replace the nom with the HG that used the PoV? (example: say Josh wins PoV and saves Sharon. Can Ryan then turn around and put up Josh, or is both him and Sharon safe?) Have wondered this for years. Thanks in advance!

Can we all agree on Parker as being good television? Though he did make that incredibly stupid play of suggesting to Jen they preemptively out themselves pre Noms. That was up there in the Marcellus/Mike/Dustin Stupid Move Hall of Fame.

I agree with "thatguy." This is your blog. Everyone has an oppinion and has the right to express it in some way. If everyone had the same oppinion it would be very boring. That is the fun and attraction of a blog. Hearing the different likes and hates. I can't stand Chelsia and Josh, but I read the comments of those who do like them. I don't get mad or upset, I just put on my foil hat and raise my hands at my computer and pray for the evil to not enter into my home. LOL
Carolyn, your blog is the best one I have found and I have read alot of them. Keep up the great wonderful stupendous (is it thick enough yet?) fantastic insightful work. Some of us still love you.

If Josh (a non-nominated player) were to WIN the PoV and THEN use it on Sharon, he would keep Sharon AND himself safe. You are safe if you win PoV, whether you decide to win the PoV or not.

I agree James would not be a member of the pretty-boy alliance if Alex was there. But Alex is NOT there and the HG's have no idea there is a chance that he could return. As much as I dislike Matt, I have to defend his comment on Alex being his boy. He thinks there is no harm in saying so at this point because he is no longer in the game. He, like the rest, have no idea Alex could return. Personally, I would love to see the drama if Alex returned IF the rest of the guys are smart enough to remember Matt's comment and know that it means trouble. It could be Matt's ticket to sequester. :)
And I'm (still) campaigning to send ED to Devil's Island.

Doesn't anybody realize why Sharon is being targeted. She told Parker [with eyebrows up and head lifting up]it was Ryan who started the sssssssssssnake scandel [false rumor]. Adam actually addmitted to it in DR.So Ryan was on Parker's radar and that's why there was a premature outing of Ryan and Jen's relationship.
I think the question is:
I someone wins POV (Josh)and uses it on another person(Sharon). Are you able to put Josh up in place of Sharon?

Seffie, I agree no Parker..... It figures ED would campaign for him. But about your comment about houseguests remembering. What about the other day when James called out Matt in front of the crew for saying to both sides he had their back. I told my husband right there that I hoped Ryan would get HOH the next week and vote his lying butt out but that didn't happen. I wonder if Ryan even remembers that. I know I would have. Matt cannot be trusted. As for who I want voted back in I have been voting for them all butt Jen, Parker and Allison. I would rather have any of the others except for those three.

SHE is the one watching for all of us!!! SHE is the one PAYING for the feeds!!!
I, personally, am not an Alex fan (but I dont 'dislike' him either~there really isnt much to him for me) BUT guess what....this is CAROLYN'S BLOGG....she reports the facts (supported by live clips) and ONCE IN AWHILE gives us her 'personal opinon'...She is entitled to it for the love of God! But, bless her heart, she makes a clear difference of 'her opinon' and 'what happened' a CLEAR difference...
I dont always agree with all the posters on here, but to all the 'haters' WE ALL LOVE CAROLYN! so that is a UNITED front!

Last season her and I were on completely opposite ends of the spectrum, as I adore ED (hello, I am tagged EvelAlida for cryin' out loud) and I adore the woman. Differences of opinion are fantastic, and should always be handled with respect. If you cannot muster that, or feel the need to approach it with an air of superiority because YOUR opinion is so brilliant, seriously, get over yourself.......

Oh and Meredith, I am LOVING that I agree with you on a point (didn't see that coming at all gotta tell ya), Parker WOULD make good television. I can completely live what that happening, him walking back in the house that is, because his " almost immediate demise" wouldn't be as blatant as Allison's, so there would be a fighting chance for some serious stuff to spin out of that option.......

Everyone keeps pointing out how Parker and Alex got a raw deal because of their partners. But what about Allison?
She's give Ryan who is not very physically strong and for sure is not very strategically strong(wittiness what he does when he gets HOH). Then it turns out he already has a girlfriend in the house who decides she gets to control how Allison plays the game. Then Jen goes on to tell the whole house about Ryan and her and makes Allison look like the lier. I truly think Allison would of done so much better in the house without Ryan. I want to give her a second chance to see how she can play the game by herself.
