BB9 It's a Whole New Game
Sitting here watching the live feeds tonight, I feel like I'm learning a brand new game with a brand new cast of HGs.
Of course, it's the same people, but now that they're playing solo, we get to see who they really are, and what their game is all about... With everyone playing on their own, Big Brother is back, and season 9 has really begun.
So far, it seems James is very interested in maintaining the relationship and the alliance with Chelsia. Chelsia, I'm not so sure about. Joshuah and Sharon are almost sure things to stay together too, but that's it for the couples as far as I've seen.
All of the couples will continue sleeping together, with the exception of Sheila and Adam.
Chelsia holed up in HoH with Ryan and Matt for quite a while, and we learned for certain that at least Baller (Adam) is safe for the next week. Ryan credits his good karma. I'll call it the smokers alliance.
Sheila is completely depressed, in tears, and crying to Adam as I write this. He's being a doll and listening. She just feels completely alone now, and like she's floundering. She tells Adam there's only one other person she trusts in the house, besides him, and she hopes she's right in trusting that person. Sheila waxes poetic about Allison... and continues crying. "It's brutal. It's just brutal. And the way everyone talked about her when she left... They're vicious and they're mean, and they will stoop to any level to win this game."
Flipping over to feed four, the HGs are talking about the food comp tomorrow - they think it'll be slop for half the house. Also they're looking forward to a luxury comp.
Me, personally, I'm all about the endurance comp, which now that they're singles will be played and soon. Talk about an almost sure HoH win for a female HG. Hopefully not Chelsia though, 'cause she'll take out the women.
Back to learning the new game I go. ;)

I love Ryan. He seems like such a nice down to earth guy, but I feel he will put up Adam & Sheila. They are the weakest and Ryan, I feel will do whatever everyone else wants. I hope it's not true but I can't see him doing any different.

Like you, I feel as if we're watching an entirely different batch of houseguests. This shift in the game seems to have shifted a few personalities as well.
Josh better get out his Chapstick. He's got lots of butt-kissing to do.
Ryan must be on top of the world right now! I predict he'll put up Josh and Matt but I hope he nominates Josh and Sharon.

There is always the possibility that Ryan might want to back door Matt - in which case, he can't put him on the block tomorrow. It would be the smarter thing to do if he wants him out. There is less chance that Matt would play the Veto if he isn't on the block right away...
I don't watch the live feeds but I love reading all the updates even if it kinda spoils me some. I hope Ryan nominates Matt and Shelia. I don't like Matt and personally haven't and also on the show when James called him out on playing Ryan, and Adam that was awesome, so therefore Matt should be nominated. I like Shelia but she seems to be a boat because all she does is float. Even in the food comp she didn't really do anything and I bet she wouldn't win POV and she would be a nervous wreck also if she was nominated.
first off, i just wanna say i am more excited than words can say that allison is gone. i'm sure it was fun for her walking into the sequester house with so many people there who are against her. second, i'm very happy they split the houseguests b/c i hated the couple thing. now, big brother is back. lastly, i am happy ryan won hoh, he is now the one i will root for b/c he is the nicest out of the bunch and he deserves to win after having to suffer for all of allison's lies and manipulations. the look on her face was priceless when she got voted out unanimously TWICE in the same night. good stuff. i also would like to say that all the people who want allison back b/c she brings drama and excited to the show should see that we aren't gonna be watching the same people we have been watching all season. these people will be playing differently and they will behave differently so there is definitely going to be more drama when their true personalities come out. allison sucks, glad she's gone, ready to watch the real big brother and see all the claws come out of the "new" houseguests we're all about to see.

Hopefully Ryan will nominate Matt and Sheila. I am gunning for Matt to be out of there - He is too smug for me. He comes off rude and full of himself.
I don't know how good it is for James' game though now that they are single - he is REALLY into Chelsia and it better not mess up his game. I would like to trust that she is going to stay true to her word to him but she might just be playing him. I am hoping she is not.
I really hope Alex gets back in!! I see that he's the popular vote on here too! Although I think it would be funny to see Allison come back & Joshuah leave. He's such a jerk. His time needs to be up!
I hope the poll is right in the nomination of Josh, and then it probably should be the "my boy" Matty for his everything to everybody but really nothing to anybody but himself game play which is a threat to everyone, especially to low key Ryan.
Carolyn, I am interested in having you expand on why you would be against Chelsia taking out some of the women, as you mentioned,if you have the time...

CBS definitely knows even before they opened the voting that Alex is going to win that thing off of popular vote. I mean, the evicted HGs are kind of slim pickings. (What do you think they've been doing in sequester this whole time? I know Amy in BB3 said she went to a whole different country and got to see people at least). We really don't need that many guys in the house though!!
Game note, I hope its James and Sheila with Sheila gone. Too annoying. James...I'm just too big of a Matt fan and even though I completely understand why he outed him and in this game he definitely has the right to (since everyone outs people's deceptions every year), for some reason this time seemed a little baby-ish. I loved how he hated Matt's answer after bringing him out "This is Big Brother! That's what you're supposed to do!" I think James expected it to blow up a lot bigger than that and to have Matt speechless but he gave the best answer he could give when you get caught.
Keep playing Matt and even though you need to ditch Nat, you still need her vote. Be graceful and explain that you two need to separate so people don't see you as a coupled target.
I don't like this game as singles. Am I the only one? I was so used to the couples being one. I guess I will have to get used to this "return to classic" Big Brother. Give me a week...
I'm also glad it's finally singles and Ryan got to stay and even won HOH. I think Parker and Alex got a bad rap because of the girls they were paired up with. I think they both deserve to come back.

After watching AD last night, I would love to see Allison come back in. The look on Josh's face would probably be the same as when he found out she was still in the house. priceless. Sharon would be so lost without her puppetmaster.

I don't see why there are so many people that want Allison to come back in the house. She had ENOUGH time there! What about letting Jacob come back? He was taken out before we even got to know if he could play the game. Also, talk about adding some drama!!! I like Sharon and all - but I don't think she could take it with him in the house! Think about it...
I also liked the game as couples. It was fun, exciting and interesting to see who was actually only thinking of themselves and NOT their partner. Shows what kind of people they really are!
I think that Jen should come back for Ryan's benefit! Alex and jen are neck to neck, so I am trying to get all my friends to vote for her. I used to like matt until he lied to Ryan. Ryan is low key now, but wait till later!He will start kicking butt, just like the guy from big brother 8!
The only 'game' allison had was being a manipulator. Sure, I know, that is part of the game...but it can only work if people fall for it, which in her case is no longer!!!! So its game over for Allison! Nobody in the house likes her (obviously with a 6-0 vote). If you want to see Josh suffer, bring back Amanda...lol. that'll freak him out! He just got rid of Allison and exposed her for what she really was. Now put Amanda back in to drive the guy nuts (no punn intended! lol). I sure do hope Jen and Allison are sequestered together, even if its just for 1 week!!! hehe...come on, that would be some GREAT SH!T!!!!

If Jen were to come back it would put a target on Ryan. He doesn't need a repeat. I kind of agree about the Jacob thing, but he won't get enough votes, he left too early to get many fans. I think bringing Alison back would be great for the drama, but I'd hate for her to think she was brought back because America loves her!
The *ONLY* reason to vote Alison back in, is to see her face when she is voted unanimously for the third time!!!

Wow!!! what a show last night. Had me on the edge of my seat!! Way 2 go big brother in saving Ryan!! Gotta give it up for my boy from COLUMBUS,OHIO...and on that Note i want Jenn back,just for him. Not to only represent Ohio,but ryan deserves as much!! He's been so faithful to her,while all the sexual stuff has been going on,my boy deserves his girl back!! tdw- bringing Jen back would only put a target on Ryan's back. Sharon and Josh are fans of past BB and would point out the recent history of ED and Dani working as a twosome just last year to claim all the cash. If you're a fan of Ryan's then don't saddle him with someone who tried to throw him under the bus already this season (remember Jen saying Ryan is a racist??). I've already voted 200 times for Alex, and I'm just getting warmed up!

tdw- No worries! Being from Cleveland, I,too, am rooting for Ryan, my Buckeye brother from another mother. I think Alex is our best bet because Amanda killed his game. Now Parker, on the other hand, played terrible. It was his idea to tell the whole house about Ryan and Jen because he wanted to do it before Allison. He had a partner who hurt him, but he didn't play wisely either,IMO.
