OK.. I'm off to have a nap in preparation for tonight on the live feeds. I expect it's going to be a long one, whether we have the endurance comp hoh (which I think we will) or not...
The return of the HG should be very interesting, no matter who it is, just in terms of house dynamics... Will it suddenly call for a truce among the rest, just to get the evictee back out? Or will they all woo the returning HG into their camps? Either way, it's going to be very interesting to watch.

i am sad today.. mourning james eviction.lol Will be exciting to see who does come back and how the HG respond epically if Alli were to walk through that door....
this day is gonna go soo slow just because i can't wait for tonight!! i hope we get alex back and i hope he realizes that his second chance means to kickbutt and start backstabbing..lol
Are we ready for another week of this madness? I've been trying to think what the endurance comp will be. I remember last year they had a bat they called chenbat and so they had the hanging-upside-down-like-a-bat comp. Also, in allstars they had the spider web comp for the black widow, and they did have tarantulas that year as pets too. Maybe it will have something to do with James' block in the guinea pig cage. Or maybe I'm just paranoid like James, lol.
I know we complain about the feed being only on two rooms or all in one room, but yesterday if the feeds had been on four different locations they would be carrying my away in a straight jacket today. There was so much going on yesterday I had to turn the feeds off for a while to calm my heart rate. Carolyn, thank you so much for keeping us up to date. You must be able to type a 1000 words per second to keep up with them, especially Matt and Nat. Not only was Nat loosing her train of thought I was loosing my mind trying to keep up. Today my computer stays on. I will have one earplug plugged in all day so my kids don't hear the lanquage, and they may have to ask 2 or 3 times to get my attention. But today is Big Brother day.
I am rooting for Alex to come back. I am looking forward to seeing a respectful male around the house again. I think he got a raw deal with Amanda and am ready to see what he does for himself. Let him fight his own battle.
So the voting will be recorded, so I wonder when the action will begin?
After yesterday even I was asking for some Tylenol PM last night. :-)

I think Ryan is definately having second thoughts about not putting up Matt. I also found it funny that he slept in the floor next to Josh & Sharon, instead of going in and moving Adam over. The alliance may still be strong between Ryan & Josh! Thank goodness!

Anyone else wondering if James is being truthful about BB telling him he is going to sequester? With a new HG coming back, he might be the last HG before sequester starts. Unless they are changing things this year by having a final 3 instead of a final two. Survivor did that last season.
I really don't want James to leave. I'm so sad. :(

I really wanted to see Josh go but James will have to do. I would like to see Bueno back or Alison for the returning. Alex bored me. I guess some of the ladies liked him for the eye candy.I can't believe Ryan is regretting his decision. What is wrong with these people? Can't they make a decision and stick with it. This show is going to be WAY boring without James. Josh may cause a scene but that is the same boring thing he always does. Sharon is going to still be boring Sharon. Adam and Sheila - ugh they are boring, Chelsia - didn't care much for her before and now she is going to be depressed that James is gone. Ryan - he is just a doormat for the other houseguests and Nat is still going to be sucking up to Matt until he doesn't need her anymore and he ends up winning the whole thing (hopefully it won't happen that way but it looks like it will) UGH I can't stand Matt.

I haven't read through all of the posts and comments, but here is a thought, I hope a new one. What if the person they bring back is brought back before the eviction vote and that they get to vote? How will that change things if at all?

Very upset right now. I truly believe James is going home today. I am not happy about it. I am sitting here talking to my friend about who would be the best one to come back into the house and stir up the pot. Who will take on Matt and get him out of the house. James was the only one stand up to Matt to his face. Out of the HG's that may come back, Who do you think will side with Chelsia??

Someone said something about an 8 ball of coke being 8 ounces....boy o boy there was a time in my life where I wish that had been the case...not anymore thank goodness...finally got smart on that one...but an 8 ball of coke is 3.5 grams or as someone else correctly put 1/8 of an ounce. Not that it matters jut don't want anyone to be surprised if they try to buy an 8 ball of coke and are shocked when they get this little tiny package of it...just kidding really...Just say no!!! lol
Oh what a night this will be. I hope all the predictions are correct about tonight being an endurance competition...or as the HG's put it "physical"...have any of these people ever watched this show before? I know they say they have but 99% of the time they sure don't act like it. Repeat after me HG's e-n-d-u-r-a-n-c-e.
I really think Alex will be coming back and I sure do love Alex but as far as drama he certainly didn't create much and I have to admit I love the drama baby!!!
I actually hope that Allison comes back. She really got on my nerves a lot of the time but she sure was good at stirring up the doo doo.
Prediction on the endurance comp tonight...I really think it will come down to Natalie...she has already proven she does not give up no matter what...I mean she is still chasing Matty around the house like a lost puppy and look how rude he has been to her.
I understand why people keep saying Chelsia, however, Chelsia has been on slop all week and I think she will be an emotional wreck after James walks out...at least temporarily.
I really wish Sharon was the one leaving tonight...that girl bores me to tears and I think I'm going to need Miracle Ear after her laughing and screeching all over the live feeds last week...and BB please take her stupid blankie away from her...are you kidding me here...I thought she was 20 something not 2.
Oh well, Happy live show day everyone...I can't wait...I don't think I have been this excited since the show started this season other than waiting for the siren to go off last week...but as far as live feeds go if they go to endurance comp tonight it may be the best LF night since this season started.

P.S. someone asked about the live feeds and getting signed up today. They are so so easy to get...I signed up through this site and then went to another site and got the BB reloader which I HIGHLY recommend and it all only took me about 1/2 hour and I was a fly on the wall in the BB9 House. It's great...it's a wonder I still have a job with all the time I spend spying on the HG's...lol

The way things stand right now, they might as well end the game and give Matt the money. It's hard to figure a different outcome.

I haven't read all the comments in this thread, so if this has already been said, forgive me.
Did you note the wording of the announcement at the end of the show last night regarding the returning houseguest?
It said something to the effect of, "Will the returning houseguest be the one America voted for?"
In other words, they may be planning some type of competition between the houseguest America voted for and the evicted houseguest this evening to determine who actually walks back in the door.

If that were the case, then James WOULD go to sequester. I think the extra houseguest might bring it back up to TEN, not nine, and that's why James will not be going to sequester?

I think Matt is a good player. He knows what to say. Unfortunatley I think everyone that is left is scared to go up against him when he says things. (with the exception of James). Ryan is a joke. He just sits back and nods hios head to everything Matt says. Its like Matt has puppies in this house. Nat and Ryan right now are under his control. I hope whoever wins HOH gets him the hell outta there. I dont know who is worse..Matt or Allison? Do you think that the evicted HG's get to see what is going on in the BB house?
Jenine @ 9:45 -- I thought it was 8-Baller, too...only I thought it was because he seems to play pool more than anyone in the house. Later though, I decided it sounded more like they HGs were saying "A-Baller" which I assumed was for "Adam the Baller" as in pool player...would love to hear if anyone knows the 'real' name and story behind it.
Joe's Angel @ 9:50 -- I worried about the same thing, especially since she just recently got over one! Still don't like Sheila, but I wouldn't wish a YI on anyone -- and I definitely don't wanna hear anymore talk of them in the house! YUK!
Ken @ 10:34 -- I think you may be waaay underestimating Ryan's gameplay. Think about him being in a secret alliance with Josh and then really LISTEN to what he says to others. He is gently, but surely guiding them in directions that are favorable to him and Josh. The convo upstairs with Matt last night before Nat came up to paint Matt's portrait is a good place to start....listen to what he says and how he says it when Josh's name comes up....I'm definitely keeping my eyes on those two (Ryan and Josh).

I have to admit, that while I don't condone or agree with some of the things Adam has shared about himself, he is rather funny when he gets on his fast speech and face animated tales. They are a riot usually at the time I need one while watching the feeds.
Unlike most on this forum, I actually like Matt & am glad Ryan did not backdoor him - he's not bad eye candy, I love his accent, and I think he's a good gamer -- he talks TOO much at times and shares too much info at times but overall he's working the house - Natalie included - and that's BB. I also don't really think that he's been that bad to Nat - he's tried repeatedly to be clear on how he feels - or doesn't - about her and she doesn't get it -- that's not his fault. He's certainly not calling her names and throwing pickles/pickle juice or water on her. After that first week and hummergate he realized he didn't want to pursue that and he changed directions with how he was progressing with her. So I'm happy this week. Next week may be a different story.
James, I hope, is outta there and I'm hoping Nat wins HOH, but if history repeats itself it will be Chelsia sitting high in HOH. Ug. Someone needs to knock her off her high horse and check her attitude, imo.

LOVED!!...watching Josh and Ryan trying to figure out the plans for today! IMO...I think they needed Ryan out earlier, not only to get the room ready for the new HOH, but possibly?...maybe?...the returning HG will be up there watching the eviction. Maybe they need to have a certain camera set up instead of wall mounts? IDK. We'll know that for sure, if Ryan does NOT have his HOH interview up in the HOH room.
Also, another reason for such early DR evictions...maybe BB Producers wanted the Final Count early becuz' they would need to meet/discuss which HG should return to make the game more entertaining. (Personally, don't think our votes make a difference!)
Also, they need the time to retrieve that HG/Handler and prepare for re-entry.
Who knows? Just an idea?
Reading over the comments I can't believe ppl want Alex back he seems like a DL guy imo. I want Allison back and she would campain hard to get rid of Josh who I find it weird that Ryan w=didn't put him up. Josh is a snake but he want James there to protect him James is more of a snake than Matt. When Chelsia goes home ppl are going to tease her big time for kissing James because of his prior job.

I dont understand why you believe Matt will win it. It seems like all the houseguests are gunning for him. Unless he works hard at comps like Janelle, he should be out soon. Janelle couldnt be beat, I dont think Matt is as good as she was. It's looking like whoever wins HOH tonight Matt is going up. If Alex comes in, he may protect him but as soon as the others fill him in, he should wise up too.
by the way, did anyone see the new commercial? it said the HG's would have to make a "game changing decision" before the new HG returns. any ideas?

Totally off-topic, but the matter of my broken cable and watching BB on the Internet was on a dead thread so...
First, thanks to the last Anon with that advice. Believe me, I am already getting credited for the time I have no cable, and they got me an appointment for Saturday in lieu of Monday. Whoop-de-doo. Don't they care that ALLISON MIGHT COME BACK AND ROCK JOSHIUAH"S DELUSIONAL WORLD? Plus, the Project Runway finale (that wasn't last week, right? Don't spoil it, people and Top Chef beginning= I actually have a friend on the show. He is the Evel Dick guy from Man Francisco.
ON THE SUBJJECT OF WATCHING THE SHOW ON THE COMPUTER:
I watched last night's episode on CBS.com when it cmme on after the West Coast show and it just isn't the same. The video on my computer is much darker than on the tube, and I cannot do instant rewind and slow mo to really caputre the expressions. If anyone has any tips on how to lighten the video quality on a Mac (I forget the name of my model but it is about a year and a half old, has seventeen inch screen and has videoaping capabilities), please tell me. THIS IS VERY SERIOUS>

Anybody else out there in public viewer land who has a problem with Nastalie using the "battered woman" (emotionally or physically) sydrome as a tool to manipulate the players who have an honest concern for the supposed horrible treatment inflicted on her by Matt? Outright lying I understand -- using a social/domestic problem seems immoral and unnecessary. Just a thought. Interested in other opinions. Thanx. Marc
Hi Carolyn. Just want to say "thank you" ahead of time...I don't have the feeds but I will be glued right here all night. I don't know what I would do without your updates.
I'm very sad that James is going to be leaving. And it sucks even more that he won't be going to sequester. It's going to be longer than he thinks before he gets to see Chelsia again. I think they are very cute together. I can't wait to see how things play out with her after he leaves. Hopefully she will stay strong...and kick some butts for James.

What does anyone? anyone? (flashback from Ferris Bueller) think of the theory that the game will go back to couples at some point? Afterall, the sub-title of the game was "Til Death Do You Part." What does that mean if they already abandoned that idea so early in the game?
Matt doesn't have a hope of making it through next week. He is definitely going home unless he wins HOH but there is no way he could win an endurance comp.

I can't believe all the stuff that you hear on the live feeds. Sheila and her single mom crap - I'm tired of it! I'm a single mom and I don't have to tell that over and over again to everyone I see or talk to...And then Matt saying to Nat, when you watch the show you'll see that I wasn't lying to you - and he was - about kissing Sharon in the HOH. What a scumball! My only hope now is that Josh or Chelsia win the HOH, because I think that pretty much everyone else has their head up Matt's butt. Plus, Sharon has definitely gone over to the dark side...

I've got a question that I'm betting you or one of the other experts here can help me with. When the HG were put on lockdown last night for 10 hours to prepare for today's HOH comp does that mean that they will not be able to go outside at all from the time of lockdown last night until HOH comp time tonight? If so, what will the smokers do? If they are let outside, won't it give away the fact that someone is being let back into the house? Also, if it's endurance, why would BB want to give the HG a heads up on that? Wouldn't that want to NOT let them practice and NOT let them know it was endurance to catch them off guard? Do any of the HG suspect an endurance for tonight? Have any speculated about someone coming BACK tonight? I'm chompin' at the bit right now for the show to come on. Work has been a hellish nightmare today and BB will be my saving grace. When BB yelled at Josh this morning for telling someone about "the 18 wheeler pouring concrete and like 100 people in the BY" I laughed so hard. I love it when they say "So & So STOP IT".
Any confirmation that Chelsia's period has arrived? She complained of a stomachache this AM and I still think she is preggo.

If you watched the clip of Ryan and Josh in the HOH room, Josh says that Shiela asked for her and Matt to be safe next week! Why not save Adam? There is another hint people!
Shiela IS Matt's Mom!
My gut is telling me this and the way things have been happening?
1)Where is her son? at home with? she is a single parent.
2)Matt was talking to her the other night about almost getting into alot of fights oin the 405 due to road rage.
3)They are actors and he almost went off the script. Shiela used the word "Heel" a few nights ago. A heel is the term WWE refers to as "the bad guy"! She said " I don't want to come off as the Heel.
Think about how she is now playing and has voted in the past to save Matt when he was on the block Vs. Alex?

Is anyone else thinking that what happened last week may happen this week. When James goes to leave the door will be locked and the siren will sound...ahhhh... the the person who america wanted back will be on the block with james and the hgs will have to vote one of them out. will they vote James out still or maybe the other. Yes i have been going over senerios all week.
is it just me or when any person starts talkin game today the feed switch to someone standing around saying nothing or laying around???

The reason all evicted HGs so far have been in sequester has been because of this twist tonight... one should get a chance to come back. After tonight most likely all not chosen as well as James (as it looks now) will be released to do interviews... because after this show there are 9 HGs in the House. That is two finalists and 7 Jurors, and all the Jurors will be going to the Sequester House. James can do what Nick did last year... watch his crush on the live feeds if he wants to.
As for who to bring back... I hope Amanda because she would make it an even house again. I doubt she would join Matt's team since she was close with Josh when leaving. If Alex comes in I hope he PLAYS this time around. He sure is cute... and will make Matt realize he is no longer the females favorite. A bruise to his already inflated ego. If Parker comes in... drama.
Allison already had two chances so I hope it's not her.

I know history dictates that tonight will be an endurance comp, and the fact that they HGs are on a superlong lockdown with lots of pounding also supports this but wasn't the first endurance comp of the season the power couple competition? I know it wasn't for HOH, but have we ever seen a week one endurance comp?! OH WAIT! YEs- Season 6 when they were on the surfboard... and that season also had an endurance comp on the forementioned week... ENDURANCE COMP HERE WE COME!!! Get those bags of popcorn and diet soda ready, its gonna be a long night folks (lets hope it isnt like the Erika, Janelle and Boogie final 3 in all stars where janelle accidentally let go in the beginning and boogie jumped off saying that either of them have to take him....... that was the shortest and most disappointing endurance comp in BB history! HA!
ok i found some interesting info so i thought id share it on bbchatter blogs someone is logged on saying they know whats going to happen that they work for cbs or something of that nature..anyhoo they claim the votes will be a tie tonite that ryan will break it and they know for sure allison is coming back but they wont disclose who they are for fear of losing their job...thought this was a good tidbit to share! :)

Right now there are 9 HG's, they are: Ryan, Matty, Natty, Sheila, Adam, Josh, Sharon, Chelsia, James
Tonight one will leave (James) leaving 8 HG's. But then one comes back in (Alex, maybe) bringing the total back to 9 HG's.
The next to leave (next Wednesday) will be the first of seven to go to sequester leaving 2 finalists.

Last night on BBAD, Joshuah went around to Adam, Sheila and Sharon and talked different things about the game with them and every time they started to talk about game, they would switch over to Natalie painting Matt's portrait and Ryan chewing on a freakin' straw! Made me so angry to haveta watch that instead of gaming talk...

I REALLY think Matt has too much influence. His style is such that people are forced to say, "OK, alright already, you win!"
Naturally, I could be wrong and he could be out next week. But, IMHO, Ryan is acting like a big teddy bear and follows whoever talks to him. He agreed with James, then Matt, then Sheila, even Josh for a while. He just doesn't like James because he doesn't think anyone else likes James.
Depending on who comes back in and who they align with will determine the outcome for next week.

@ HOHscott - we saw Sheila's son when she got her key. And it wasn't Matt.
hohscott, if you look at Sheila's myspace, you can see on her friends list "mic" (or "mick", i can't remember). That's her son. I highly doubt that she's matt's mother.
lol shelia is not matts mom her son is like 16 and is living with her guy friend right now. and it showed him when she got the key.
Dawnie- I agree this day is going way too damn slow. C'mon already! The last hour has dragged by. I gotta stop watching the clock :)
Another argument against Matt being Sheila's son -- last week he told her he'd 'do her' because she was still pretty hot for 45. I just cannot imagine a son saying this to his mother no matter HOW good an actor he may be. UGH!
i am so sad for tonight. i DO NOT want james to go. i know he probably will - but i really was hoping for a miracle.
i am also hoping chelsia gets more angry than sad - and can use her anger to win the hoh comp. kind of like danielle last year when nick was evicted. i really want to see her wreak some havoc on the house.
i always thought matt was a huge threat and they needed to get him out immediately - but after everything that has been happening - i really hope they target sheila. she is definitely NOT a floater anymore. she is far more dangerous then matt. she is so manipulative. she needs to go. i never liked her anyways and now i hate her because she got james evicted.
i am anxiously waiting for the return of a houseguest - but i kind of don't care because i know it won't be james and i definitely would have voted for him. i wish they had waited until this week to let us vote.
oh well - should be interesting!!!

Greg~ I've thought the same thing. That maybe the previously evicted houseguests or maybe just america's favorite evicted houseguests would have to compete to re-enter the house. I've heard two different commercials/announcements that made me wonder.
Personally I want James to stay as he add flavor to the house. Sharon is too boring for me.

I know you've been bombarded with lots of questions today in addition to all the action coming up tonight but when you have a minute, could you tell me more about the HG handler's. How long do they have them before the show? Where are they during sequester? What info do you have? Just curious.
