James tells Matt to be calm and take a day, and wait it out. A lot of people are going to do a lot of talking. He tells Matt to think, and come to him at the end of the day tomorrow and tell him where he stands. Then think some more, and come back to him the next day. He points out to Matt that he actually has a ton of Ammo on Ryan - lying to half the house, handshakes with Sheila, etc...
Matt's still depressed about the whole situation... He wishes the eviction was today, so he wouldn't have to wait... He brings up not wanting to be in sequester on his birthday... He'd really like to be in the house. His birthday is 2 weeks away.
James brings up last week, and Matt says it wasn't his plan or his idea... And he admits to voting him out, and not voting him back in. James points out that all 3 people who were on the block this week are the ones who didn't vote him back in.

Life has been hectic lately and I have not been locked to my feeds, thanks SO MUCH Carolyn for such an excellent job of filling in the blanks of what I've missed!!

I guess Matt and Ryan are both discovering that pay back for playing with another HG's emotions can be a real beotch. Hopefully, James will be able to take a few minutes to sit down with Natalie and convince her that this is the best way to encourage her to start playing for herself and stop being used by "the boys." If he doesn't take time to talk to her and calm her anger towards him, James could easily find himself the victim of Natalie's strong will (when she want to exhibit it). James has just caused the biggest shake-up to date. Let's see if he is a strong enough player to compete against what he has stirred up!!! Ron
I think it sucks that Matty got put on the block. An HOH that wins the POV should be keeping his noms the same. That also means another week of listening to Sheila whine and complain.

James is a piece of garbage. Yeah yeah, i know everyone lies...but to say you are playing an honest game, not backdooring, making deals with Nat for HOH, and then going back on it, is snakelike.
Sheila is the real threat stirring everything up, not Matt. Having Matt and Nat around would have been beneficial in the end.
I'm not worried James wont win anything. Natalie to be the next Big Brother 9 winner!
Well I'm not surprised at all. I knew James was going to put Matt up. I hope some kind of twist happens and Chelsia, Adam, or Sharon goes up. Josh is funny so keep him there. Adam is so disloyal and I can stand not having to watch him strach his balls all the time. James must goes then Chelisa followed by Sharon then Josh.

Matty was so cocky when they had last weeks Veto Ceremony. Now that it is him, he seems to be humbled. I guess Karma really is something that people in this house should take into consideration with every move they make. James' Karma (good and bad) will catch him. I like James the most, but everyone has a part to play in life, as well as in this house. Here's to a great game.

All those DR sessions with Matt grinning and talking about how everyone was under his thumb...the LITERAL chest beating he's done when he thought other people were taking the flak while he got his way...the cocksure attitude that's always done a really poor job of hiding his massive insecurities...
And now he's reduced to tears and begging Adam for a vote. I could laugh I suppose, but it's not vicious humor that I feel; more just a deep, warm glow of inevitability and satisfaction. I really think that Sheila deserves to be keep on the edge of the cliff for as long as possible, but this is the only way to cut out the malignant tumor that is Matt.

it's so funny that last sunday when ryan back-doored james everyone on their side was so happy and rubbing it in their faces. now that they got a taste of their own medicine, they are all pouting and crying like little babies. not so funny when the shoe's on the other foot, is it matt?
When did being a liar become taboo in BB? It's an essential part of the game - everybody lies. Everybody has to lie. And for god's sake, it's only an extreme version of real life - where everybody lies too. Half the time people lie because they don't even know what the truth is, or because "truth" changes. I just can't fathom how that accusation is used, inside and outside the house, with a straight face.

Lying and backstabbing are all a part of the game. Being an evil jerk about it all is not. I keep noting how James is calmly explaining his reasons, and basically saying that it is what it is.
Compare to Matt's chest beating and Natalie's "HAHA, gotcha, CHUMP!" dances last week.
Sadly, I doubt Matt learns his lesson. It's one he needs to learn about life in general, not just in the BB house.

After last week's Alex ordeal, I was ready to throw in the towel. But I freaking love how this has turned out...Everything is the exact same as last week, just in reverse! I love the sweet/bitter revenge. Big Brother at its finest.

I love how people think it was ok for Ryan to do the same thing (basically) to James last week and Matt went around thumping his chest all cocky, Nat talked her crap which led to the pickle incident. And the crap just continued till James was voted out. At least now Matt is MAN enough to realize he is to blame for why he is up on the block.Lets hope Nat sees it that way as well. Nat should play for herself. besides James only promised he wouldn't put them up he didn't say anything about re-nominations. Fair is fair!! I for one think James is being very mature about the situation - again unlike Matt last week.
Yeah BB is about lying but it's annoying when James got down after making the deal with Natalie that she could trust him because he is the only person in the house who is honest and blah blah blah. Either way it sucks on who's leaving. I can't wait for HOH and I'm hoping Natalie will win HOH and get rid of one of those 4! And then Shelia will be kissing her ass again. I hope Shelia isn't serious about wanting to be on their side. That would be dumb because when it got down to the 5 of them she would be the 1st one gone!

I, obviously, don't know what James' intentions are, but from his comments recently, it wouldn't surprise me if Ryan is really his target, and he just put Matt up to give Matt a taste of his own medicine.
If Ryan truly is James' target (assuming there is a split in the voting), I hope James sits Matt down and says something to the effect of:
"Now you know what it was like for Josh and me last week in having to deal with your obnoxious chest thumping, gloating that you were in control, and even your having the insensitivity to pat Josh on the cheek and tell him you were sorry it didn't work out for him.
"I didn't try to get revenge by treating you like that this week. I just wanted you to have a taste of what it's like to be lied to.
"Now, let's both play this game to win, but without the hurtful gloating and bragging.

Hopefully Matt will take these last few days to actually value Natalie in the house. Most likely he'll jus ignore her and treat her like crap since he knows he doesn't have to pump her for votes. An easy joke lies in front of me, but I won't go there, lol.

Everyone has to look at the big picture right now, I'm glad Matty is on the block and probably going home.
Sharon, Chelsia and Adam are under the radar and no one is looking to evict them. They are the most powerful players right now because they control votes. It's a numbers game and they have place themselves in position to have people coming to them for their votes to stay. The real battle for power is Ryan, Natalie, Shelia, and Josh. James has a target on his back.
Matty needed to go because he is a gloating floater and thought he could play all sides of the fence.
Matty came into the game with a a flawed plan by trying to romance the women in the house. You ahve to be very charming to get away with it and he just isn't that charming.
What's with the tears? Grow a pair, buddy. There's nothing sadder that a person who realizes that they won't be on TV anymore....hahahahaha
You have to look at the people who are not playing all sides.
This game has just begun and clearing away the crap is the best way to start.

I actually blame Nat for the way Matt and the boys treat her. That hide and seek game last night was pathetic. I used to feel sorry for her, but--common, there's no way anyone is sitting down with her and helping her to "see the light" as far as the way she allows men to treat her. If she were really smart, she'd see that Josh is the only man in the house who's treated her with any decency.
I have to admit that I'm kind of sad that Shelia can't go too... I'm starting to turn off the feeds whenever she's on... and when she and Sharon get together, forget it. They're both the biggest bores. Shelia repeating herself, Sharon shrieking at the guina pigs and telling everyone she's "mommy sharon".. give me a break.

I like James... I think he is smart and confident in all his moves. I see he has the most votes on likability in Carolyn's poll on this blog too. The shoe is on the other foot now so to speak for Mr. Matty. Paybacks are hell and I am glad James has the opportunity to get some personal justice. Backdooring James last week was a huge mistake. Anonymous @ 7:02 PM. During the HOH not POV comp I DID hear James say the deal included NOT back-dooring them (Matt/Nat). And even RIGHT AFTER for a good while after the HoH comp he restated that NOT back-dooring WAS part of the deal...it was ONLY later between the HoH & POV comps that he said that if ANYONE including M/N won POV & took off EITHER nom then he would put up the person closest to the POV winner as the replacement nom.
Of course this is ALL Nat's fault in the 1st place. (1) She was an idiot to vote to have James return (preventing a 4-4 split...she says it was b/c she was afraid it was Allison but I think it was b/c either she is JUST stupid or was actually afraid it was Alex & that Matt would team up w/ him & dump her) AND she KNEW Matt had been a target of James for WEEKS but STILL vote James back in(& it's very possible CBS thought it would be a tie & then they'd do something like having James/Alex compete to get back in or just go w/ the America Votes results).(2) She believed his HoH comp "deal". Maybe her implants are full of air instead of silicone/saline & too much of it has leaked to the inside of her skull.
As soon as Ryan is gone then SO am I as far as watching BB9 for I see everybody else as either a floater/tail-coat rider (Sharon, Adam & Sheila), disgusting (Adam, Josh, James, Chelsia), dumber-than-a-hoe-handle (Nat), annoying/grating (Sheila & Josh) and there is Matt which I just out-and-out don't like.
i actually like both matt and james. i know everyone hates on matt, but i like his personality, hes friendly and doesn't take himself too seriously and yeah he is cocky, but at least hes not arrogant...i can understand y hes getting real upset, hes been a target for the longest time and now he can't slide out of it the way he had before. james, i think hes a cool guy, yea hes a sore loser, but at least he isn't an abnoxious winner. Hes someone who will get better with time, i think hes still in a process of evolution if that makes n e sense.
when matt is gone, i'm gonna be rooting for james. i want natalie to have her justice, but i hope sharon ends up leaving cause she's just so uninteresting and pointless, and is lucky to be allianed with who shes allianed with.
