James is Taking Ryan Off The Block & Replacing him with Adam
Just when you think it's safe to go out an enjoy the sunshine...
11:54am BBT
Backyard - Pool Table
James & Ryan
James tells Ryan he's taking him off the block, not to tell anyone, and that he hopes Ryan will have his back later on down the line.
Ryan is as relieved and appreciative as a man who's just been taken off death row.
Ryan: What's the catch?
James: Nothing. Just watch my back.
Ryan: Wow... Dude... You just made my day. Wow...
James: It's not going to be an easy week. Someone else is going up.
James then tells Ryan how Adam has broken his trust, and did not back him last week when he promised he would. And that consequently, Adam will be going up as his replacement nominee.
Ryan: Wow... You tell me when, where...
James: You just cover my back. We'll save it for later.
Ryan agrees.
James: Also last week, Adam said he couldn't vote without Sheila...Now he can campaign without her.
Ryan: That is weird, Ummm, he was telling her last week...He said he wanted to put her up and vote her out...He can't stand the woman.
James: Just so you know, that is what I'm doing, dude.
Ryan: My lips are sealed. Man, the house is gonna be shocked.
James: Nah, everyone is pretty much in line.. except Mat & Natalie.

Kitchen
Josh & Ryan
Josh already knows... He and Ryan hug in the kitchen over the good news of James taking Ryan off the block.
This conversation breaks up after a few minutes. Josh goes out & trains on the elliptical. Ryan swims around the pool like a happy 8 year old.

Kitchen
James & Chelsia
James: What did you want to tell me about Sheila?
Chelsia: Sheila's gonna come up to you later to ask you to take her off the block. She wants you to put up Adam in her place, just to freak him, Matt and Natalie out.
Chelsia tells James that Sheila said Matt is the one who didn't vote him back in. Adam did. She further says that Shelia thinks this will break up the Bro-lliance better, if what James really wants is to get Ryan out.

Yessss
Love Ryan.
Arghhhhh. I detest these moments where you see a HG making a supremely stupid move in an otherwise terrific gameplay and all you can do sit and watch it.
Ugh, James you're making me cringe with this move, man. Sheesh!
Does anyone know if James has actually asked Adam, personally, whether or not he voted James back in? James seems alert enough to me to be able to tell that Adam is telling the truth and that Matt is not. Maybe it is a ploy to still get Ryan out, and fool Matt into believing he is no longer a target of James' and will thus make a mistake in his actions/wors in the coming weeks. I find it hard to believe James would oust Adam, who helped get him back and hasn't done anything to him in the past.
I am so glad I am taking a break from the feeds today... these people are going to kill me! lol
anon 3:01, I pretty much agree with you, and Adam is a horrible liar too.
although, I want Ryan to stay somehow.
all I can picture is last year, final three, with Zach there....
Do we really want a repeat this season? If someone doesn't get rid of Adam soon, he'll be there and everyone will be sitting around thinking, WTF??
If this does happen, it will definitely shake up the house.
I still think Matt is a better option. *plink plink*
The move is a good one in the sense that if your goal is to get a strong bro out of the house. But honestly tho, put Adam (an all around good guy who makes people laugh in the house) against Sheila (psycho) and uh...well we have seen people get voted out cause they caused a lot of crap.
The noms should stay the same, because I could definitely see someone wanting to keep Adam over Sheila because of the fact that they just plain old LIKE him more than Sheila. Put Sheila against Ryan...Ryan will definitely leave this house!
Wise up James! Hopefully SOMEONE knocks some sense into him before the ceremony tomorrow. If this plan gets told to Sharon, I'm betting she will.
~ Ryan ~
I'm confused.Does What is James thinking? How did Adam not have his back.
Doesn't he know Adam voted to bring him back -- or, is he talking about something else?
From Anonymous at 3:01 -- I just thought of several other possible scenarios (not related to whether or not James has actually talked to Adam). First, maybe putting Adam up is a way to shut Shiela up. She is convinced everybody in the house likes her and doesn't like Adam. She'll quiet down because she'll stupidly believe she is safe against Adam. She'll go, but the houseguests won't have to put up with her antics for the next five days. Second, maybe James is putting Adam up in order to make Matt believe his lie about voting for James to come back succeeded and he is therefor no longer a target of James. Third, maybe he is testing Ryan to see if word gets back to him that Ryan has told people he is coming off the block. Or, Fourth, maybe he is just f***king with Ryan to say, "see how it feels to have somebody tell you something to your face and then have them do what they said they wouldn't (like Ryan telling James he wouldn't go up on the block and then putting him up). Unless it is something along these lines, I certainly don't understand it. James has to know that he certainly is not back in the house due to anything Ryan did.
I don't think it's so much about who James thinks did or did not vote him back in. He is saying it has to do with Adam not having his back in the first place when he was voted out. It's curious who all James is after for revenge and who he is deciding will go this week because of it...
Ugh if they are gonna backdoor ANYONE why ADAM of all people?! It is a terrible move to backdoor a weak player... that just puts a bigger target on you.... he needs to go after Matt or Natalie if he wants to make a big move. I do not agree with this move AT ALL!
He needs to realize that Matt is scum and finally vote him out
I think it's a move to get Shelia out of the house. If this is what the snake James is really going to do. If they put up Adam against Shelia i think it would be the same result with 3/3 and James breaking the tie and voting Shelia out. I don't think it's going down this way I think he's going to back door Matt or Ryan is still going up. If one of the 2 win POV they should put Nat or Matt up.
woo hoo boot Adam out, I love it, lol now we won't have to see him scratching and clawing himself down his pants especially when he is reading the bible yuck!!!!! So glad Sheila may stay now yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
anon 321pm- he wont backdoor matt cause that was part of the deal with natalie and he wants to keep her word with her.
and i think just because someone is a replacement nom does not mean its a backdoor situation. like anon319pm said, there are MANY reason for this to happen.
GET ON BOARD THE RYAN EXPRESS!!! It's engine has been repaired, and it is full steam ahead...CHOO CHOO!!
P.S. PPPsssttt....Chelsia...SHUT UP!
@ 3:31 That what I meant to put at the end of my other post...They should put Chelsia up. She a strong player, she's stuck up, and I just don't like her. They should gun for James next week again because as they all know he's a strong player I want them gone followed by Josh and Sharon.
I'll believe it when I see it.
not gonna happen, he's just trying to get back at ryan by getting his hopes up otherwise it is a stupid stupid move.

Anonymous 3:19,
You have some great theories going. The question of the day is: Does James think things through that deeply? It's possible. Sometimes he looks 16 to me and sometimes he looks much older than he is...
Biskit,
I have been thinking the same thing about Chelsia. She is WAY too sure of herself and doesn't even deserve to...
At this point in the game, I have to say that two people I said I wouldn't like at the beginning of the season is still that same. In fact, I detest both of them. they are Matt and Chelsia. There is one other person I didn't think I would like and that is Sharon. Fact is, I LOVE her. No, she is not perfect, but she has PLAYED the game from day one and really thinks things through. She is very patient and is willing to wait for the right time (in her thinking) to play her hand. At first, I thought she reminded me of Allison from season 4, but I couldn't have been more wrong! I hated Allison. I just love Sharon!
How is everybody else doing with who they thought they would like and who they thought they would hate?
I've gotten mixed signals listening to the feeds. Is he really going to take Ryan down and put up Adam, or is James just floating that to see what happens in the Bro'liance?
It's a dumb move anyway. If you are going to backdoor someone, then do it to Matt.
If the intent is to get out a "Bro" then take down Sheila and put up Matt or Adam.
One of the guys needs to go this week. Sheila can be manipulated by whoever holds power (even though she's killing my one good ear.) Take her down and put up a Bro.
Ok, so put Adam up and get rid of Sheila......that's who I want to go anyway. When is the veto ceremony?
Ok So.... Do you really think he will believe Sheila?? She has been driving everyone nuts!! I really want Ryan off the block and Adam up he will get the votes and sheila will be sent home... then its even ground.... I hate this you know they will go back and forth on this all week!! CHELSIA SHUT YOUR MOUTH!!!! BTW if Ryan went to chelsia and told her that JAMES wanted him to put her up she would vote out Sheila I think she would be SHOCKED!!
Big mistake--Matt needs to go. Not many more chances to get him out. Matt has done nothing in this game but ride along on other people. I would like to see how Nat plays with Matt gone. Also I would of asked James to join their alliance
Well why put someone up that isnt' your target? if you use a replacement nom you better get that person out because chances are they are gunning for you!! I agree Adam needs to leave like Zach last season (unless he starts winning some comps... because he is playin a decent social game so far) but why not just put him up? No one would use the veto on him unless its a backdoor plan for someone else... he is easy to get rid of so I dont understand why James is putting a target on him by doing this... he had the whole house on board to get one of his original nominees out... I really have a feeling this is gonna bite him where the sun dont shine... but I dont really care for him so I am kinda glad he is doing this! But from a gameplay standpoint... BLEH!
James is playing this game right now from revenge. He is still trying to show these players that if they cross him they will suffer. I think it is a BIG mistake. Don't get me wrong I think putting up Ryan was a mistake in the first place. He should have targeted Sheila and Adam from the start. They have been playing this game from the sidelines and letting everyone do there dirty work. I hope that the two pink hairs go so they can go to the sequester house and do their freaky stuff behind closed doors.
Hmmm. I'm not sure replacing Adam with Ryan would be the best move for James & crew, strategically speaking. I feel Matt is one of the strongest players, mentally & physically. And is probably the biggest threat in the house. He's got a good social game and he is strong in comps, and isn't even trying his hardest.
On top of this, he has a solid alliance with Ryan, Adam and Nat. We know Nat will do anything to protect him and will most likely stick by his side till the end and we know Ryan has saved him and protected him as well. While Adam is part of the Bro-Alliance, he is seen as more of a floater or flip-flopper by all.
Unless he wants to break his deal with Natalie, James does not have the option to take Matt (or Nat)out this week. So in my opinion, the next best option would be to take out the strongest member of his team, who I would argue is Ryan (btw, I do like my fellow buckeye, but I am trying to be objective in this analysis.)
Also, we know Sheila has pissed off and is pissed at her old alliance, the bros, and I think that if she is not evicted this week, she will want to go after Adam & Matt & Nat, especially if she stays and they vote against her. And with how much she is annoying them, they may be after her as well, especially Adam.
This is beneficial to James and his crew, b/c they can let the Bros and Sheila duke it out and keep the target and attention off of themselves. And if Ryan stays this week, he is more likely to stay with and not against, the bros, while if Sheila stays, James & his crew could possibly sway her to their side.
I do think Sheila's got game, and is a threat as well, but at this point it makes more sense to keep her around for the reasons stated above. And I think Ryan leaving is more detrimental to the bros than Adam's eviction would be.
I agree w the person that said to leave Ryan up, take down Sheila and put up Matt
One last thing... I was just thinking everyone in the house needs to know that James said if he won the money he would just do alot of "blow" and become a drug addict and just party it all away is that who you want to have the money CBS?? Well maybe in a year they can do a spin off show on A&E INTERVENTION on James LOL :)
Actually I saw where he said he would have a party in LA and then us the rest to help his mom and a college fund for his sister.
