Natalie, however, is getting much worse... She's very feverish and Matty is now bringing her a bowl in case she has to vomit.

SO glad she is back. Kinda wish Alex woulda showed a lil' more to her than he did, but...oh well. Ryan is really starting to grow on me. He is playing a good game, and is seeming more genuine. Kinda cool, after last week, how far he has gotten "under the radar".
GOOD LORD! what's going on in that house?! BB should check for parasites! that must have been some veto comp....
my mother in law is very hypoglycemic and i've never seen her convulse like that before. i have seen her pass out but get up moments after. that was way messed up. she must be very severe and BB should have given them those protein bars like they did the crew last season.
What the hell is going on? 3 of the girls are sick?
I feel bad for Sheila, but it's in bad form to complain to Nat when she is ill. I know when I nauseous, the last thing I want to hear is someone complain.
i know this is mean but is nat really sick or does she just feel left out?...when one hen cackles all the rest follow...
Yikes, this board is getting more and more judgemental. For the record (or as far as I saw), Nat was talking about how bad her headache was well before Amanda even passed out. Jeez... let's lighten up on these people a bit.
Who knows... maybe Nat has the flu or a migraine.
Peni I'm thinking Natalie is just feeling left out as well. So you're not mean. She's jealous of the other girls getting more attention than her.
Maybe she had a strip tease planned or a SEX session for tonight and they ruined her plans LOL
ok..on Natalie I really want to say no matter what you think of her..she can not fake a fever..especially when shes being watched..she has a fever!

I think that Amanda may have had a pseudoseizure, but she needs an EEG to rule out tonic-clonic/grand mal seizure. For my neurology courses & rotation, they made us watch tons of videos of tonic-clonic, absence, pseudoseizures, alcoholic,and infantile seizures. They drilled it into us: know what they look like and the classic symptoms that you may see with each one(ie TC/GM:muscle spams-stiff, tongue biting, bladder loss, head rolled back, eyes open, shaking).
On my neuro rotation, there were 4 kids that were admitted/eventually diagnosed with pseudoseizures. When we talked to these kids, they described falling, shaking, heavy breathing/gasping for air(symptoms which are similar and often difficult to distinguish from tonic-clonic). They also reported closing their eyes(They drilled this into us too: Ask/watch what happens to the eyes during the seizure. If they are open and rolled to back/side=TC/GM and if they are closed=PS). You want the correct diagnosis because they are not always treated the same. Hypoglycemia has also been known to cause pseudoseizures.

Pseudoseizures involve a subjective loss of consciousness, usually resulting from a psychological disturbance. Drug intoxication, panic or anxiety attacks, or hypoglycemia may also induce behavior that resembles epilèptic manifestations. Multiple EEG evaluations and careful clinical observation can rule out epilepsy. Psychiatric treatment, including family interviews and sympathetic discussion of the underlying emotional problem with the patient, should be provided when appropriate.
* I think that the HG did an excellant job with helping these two ladies. Emergency situations are always stressful and you are not always able to think clearly.
Wow, I had a very, busy, stressful day was not able to feed my bb addiction till about an hour ago. So, I come to bb9dish to get the scoop and boy am I overwhelmed.
Holy Crap. I started off by trying to read the posts in order, starting with Friday overnight report. But then I realized showtime was on. So now I am engaged watching the reactions and hearing the details of the crazy Amanda and Allison Medical Issues....Crrraaazzzzinesssss
But out of these situations I saw many HGs become more sensitve and human. Most surprisingly was seeing Matt comfort and care for Natalie since she isn't feeling well. He brings her the things she needs and tells her he will check on her all night. That may be the 1 and only time we see Matt in that way, but hey better than none.
Then I hear Sheila, Amanda and Allison talk about water under the bridge and their plan to play the game without being deceitful and coniving to one another like they have been. They hug on the idea that they will come to each other with gossip and discuss it face to face. I wonder how long this will last?
I also find it interesting that these 3 girls, lead by Shiela, are finally realizing that the boys cause problems and think they run the show and so they agree that the women need to stick together and that will make them strong....I like this idea. I too am sick of "check your girl".

Ok now I gotta go back and read all the posts and comments from today and find out the juicy details, especially the Alli/Sheila/Amanda fiasco.

Hey Biskit...I hear ya about Alex reaching out a little more...It is just his way. For some reason all of that really nice stuff that is inside of him come out a little awkward. He was definitely disturbed by what happened and I believe he is thrilled that she is OK…he just has a difficult time letting it out in a way that makes sense.
I'm kind of okay with Alex not showing more "love"-- at least he's not being all fake-nice like Chelsia.

Seriously, what is up with all these people getting really sick all of a sudden? Natalie's not faking, I don't like her, but the poor girl is sick! You know she has to be when she stays in the room all alone and is not trying to be on top of Matt 24/7, LOL. And seriously I wanted to smack Sheila for Nat when she was going on and on while the poor girl's nauseous, when I'm nauseous the last thing i want is someone in my face going off! And unbelievable how Amanda and Allison right upon their return are just trying to feel better and relax and somehow sheila manages to turn that whole bonding experience all about her! Uhhhh! Not to mention that she keeps going on and on "this is not what i signed up for" Um yes you did, it's a freaking game where pretty much anything goes except physical violence, if adam wants to yell at her especially after the way she treated him from day one, he has all the right to do so! Stop freaking whining and leave the house then if you're so upset. Seriously josh PLEASE use the veto and get sheila out of here!
So glad she's back! Poor thing. It was cute to see Alex making sure she was okay and seeing she EATS and gets the right foods she needs.
I hope Natalie is okay! Something is terribly wrong in that house this year! LOL
