Adam steps to the kitchen, and he and Ryan chat briefly about the time, then Ryan heads back outside. Adam soon follows.

Sheila comes out and resumes her position on the chaise.
Ryan: I'm sure they're gonna lock us out again. it's only 12:15.
Sheila: Feels later.
Ryan: I know.
Ryan's working out.

Ryan's doing short sets followed by a lot of heavy breathing, pacing and down time.
Adam is unseen.

Sheila's on all 4 feeds, tanning quietly in the backyard...

Sheila gets up and goes inside, yells out to Adam.
Sheila: Adam, is the water supposed to be running in the pool?
Ryan: He's asleep.
Sheila: Really? I thought I just heard him. I'd do it, I just don't know how.
Ryan comes outside to tend to the water. Sheila tends to the laundry.
Sheila: Are you sleepin to?
Ryan: Nah, I was just readin the bible. I got too much nerves I think to sleep today.
Sheila: Yeah. I could see that.
Ryan lies down on the gondola chaise.
Sheila: Wonder if they're gonna make us pack.. like, pack pack.
Ryan: Probably.
Sheila walks inside.
A minute later, Ryan says "It's too hot," and heads inside as well.

Sheila looks like she's going to do some more packing, but then lies down on the bed and closes her eyes. That lasts all of a minute before she gets her sunglasses back on and walks through the house to the bathroom, talking into her mic, asking if it might be possible to get some alka seltzer for her upset stomach.

If Ryan doesn't win against Adam, he feels like Adam should take him to the end of this game and not take me, cause if Adam takes me, Ryan's not gonna vote for him. So what does that mean? That means that Ryan doesn't have his back, and has sour grapes, and is a big frikkin bully. Talk about threatening people... So if Adam wins going up against you, he doesn't deserve the money? And I told Adam all along, I'll vote for him... Why doesn't Ryan wanna pick Adam to win the money? Cause he can't beat him? So that's what Julie meant. I get it. Now.. How do I explain that to Adam before the competition? I don't know. Cuz Ry Bread is guarding him like a frikkin pit bull. Ryan Producer, I get what you were sayin last night. But I don't know how to make Adam get it, unless Ryan goes in to the DR for a half an hour. Ryan doesn't feel like Adam deserves the money if Adam beats him and takes me. What a poor sport. If anyone deserves to win that money, it's Adam.. or me. Ryan hasn't been a stand up guy. He's been a bully this whole game. He wont let me get anywhere near Adam. I just need to tell him the truth. Sorry I didn't get it last night, Ryan Producer. I'm getting it now. Your bro doesn't have your back, Adam. Come on. Talk about a threat. Uch. I hate this game. These people suck. I got a late start today after staying up to watch the fireworks last night. My ears are still bleedin. The scene with all of them in the boat room where Sheila was workin so hard right in front of Ryan to turn Adam was Sheila at the extreme.I thought a fight was going to break out, Sheila was relentless.
Sheila pointed out that Adam hadn't seen what kind of player she really was and That after it was all over and he watched it he would see how much she had done(it was a whole rant last night). I don't get what she thinks she has done except nag, guilt trip, threaten, complain, and act selfish and entitled. Oh, and clean house. I think she is so used to being given things by men that she believes adam should give her her entry into F2.
Her raving repeatedly over what Ryan has already won is ridiculous, the entire thing is a game, he won them fair and square it does not count against you, just shows you are a competitor. Does anyone believe that if Sheila had won the 10gs that she would feel it made her less deserving of 1st or 2nd place. Methinks not. I don'tr believ for a minute that she will give 1 dime away to charity if she wins,(alright 1 dime).
Her over the top reaction (like a 10yr old)when the prize for the luxury comp was announced was announced, and her refusal to even shake hands afterward was very revealing. Selfish and self absorbed. She needs the money so she won't have to get (and keep) a job requiring real work, which is beneath her.
I am not lovin Ryan at all but believe he has played a far better game def deserves final 2. Adam has been Shady but that is the game too and he has played as well rather than expecting to be carried. While they have both been crude, obnoxious jerks neither has expected to be carried and have played to win.
Sheila still thinks she is a penthouse pet and things must be given to her. I am not even going to mention her being a 46yr old single mother with a child to support that she can't let down. OOPs I just did. I do believe eventually she will come to rely on her son to support her. I know I am being harsh on her but I have spent many years as a single mom and really resent she done us all wrong. I kicketh her to the curb for all us moms out there.
Ok. my band wants me to practice with them tonight and live BB. NOOOOOOOO it's not as good "real live" on tape.

Anyone else feeling as though this cast got screwed on the jury house? I mean, instead of a fancy tropical beach, with a pool and gorgeous interior, they seem to be in just a so-so house with twin beds and a tv.

zanyone - me too! I keep going up and down, back and forth! I'm pretty set on Adam winning first and Sheila taking second now though. I think Adam deserves to win first place over Sheila, but she deserves a little something too, like $50,000. Ryan deserves a kick in the butt in my opinion.

I think that Adam and Ryan are both planning to take Sheila to F2. Adam better not throw it to Ryan or he'll be throwing $50,000 or $500,000 out the window.

I hope Sheila wins. She is the one that least annoys me. But I think she has played a good game. She played both sides well, floated when she needed to. Plus she had the guts to put Nat on the block and get her out.
May I just say (no offense) but nobody DESERVES the money, IMO. I'm sorry Sheila has had to struggle, but her life is a result of choices that she has made. Nobody forced it on her. She is a single mother by choice. She in the past 25+ years she could have chosen to go back to school and do something with her life and NOT struggle. I don't see that her choice not to entitles her over anybody else to the money.

I'm sure Big Brother wants Adam to go through one more round of brainwashing from Big Sheila... She asked BB to do it, I'm sure they'll do it when the timing is perfect, leaving Ryan no time alone.
(Similar to what they did with Adam/James, right before the nominations were made, calling Natalie to the D.R. at the "perfect" time.
I really want a Sheila/Adam Final 2! I mean, come on! No one would have EVER expected that to happen. Maybe if we wish hard enough, Adam will find his testicles, God knows he's played down there long enough this season to give us exact measurements on the size of them, and win the 3rd Part and boot Ryan!

I think James wants Sheila to win becuase I don't think he wants to give the money to Adam and I know he doesn't want Ryan to get it. It's probably the lesser of the three evils for him. (not like "evildoers" of course!)

I really think that Sheila has not considered her son at all except from here point of view. Otherwise her behavior would have reflected such. My heart goes out to the kid, not just the kidding and nasty comments he must be subjected daily but also how she will appear in his eyes, because of her treatment of others and the things she has said in front of a camera.

My life is inifinitely better with my son in it, so the single mom card is lame in my book. I don't feel sorry for myself or my life.

I really wish Ryan and Sheila would realize they are both being played. Ry should have taken Sharon off the block with the veto. I think Sharon was a better iver all player than Big Shel and I guess because I was also a single mom, as many of us probably have been, I am sick to death of hearing her self-pity and ME, ME, ME talk. Adams owes her nothing, but he has a big heart and she knows that, and plays right to it!

Hi, I really enjoy this website. I happened upon Big Brother because of the strike, then I happened upon this because of 'the needing to know' what was happening. So.. Thank you for the time and effort.
In my opinion Adam and Sheila should be the final two. Ryan is a bully and very immature. I guess I could rant on about how he really has not won that many things and both times he has been HOH he has completely went on power trips. As for the $10,000 talk about the lowest form of Dirty Santa.
The one on one interviews are annoying from the stand point the guy says "ya know" multiple times. Also, could someone please tell him to pull his pants up.
Janelle~ IF James was still in the house it would be an easy answer to your question...however we are left with HG's that I feel have been guided by the producers to play this game. Neither is an actual game player, but GUINEA PIGS taken to a new level of not so real reality! The HG's are the Guineas Pigs here (experimental subjects) That's why the Guineas are there~ Gee and even crazy Nat couldn't catch on to that one!!!!

Maybe "Ryan the Producer" (during one of their tampering sessions)should explain to Big She that Ryan and Adam both agreed that they would not vote for the other if the other screwed them over. Sheila is sooo delusional.
Adam or ryan are stupid if they don't take Shelia to the finals. The cards have been stacked against Shelia from day one. Every houseguest have used Shelia's age against her.
I don't understand the logic of either Ryan or Adam for not taking her. Why would any of them take the chance of coming in second to Shelia that they could outright beat?
Come on Shelia, you have to get to Adam or Ryan and make them follow the logic. She has to let them see the difference between 500K and 50K.

I said it once i'll say it again. i wnat ryan & adam to be the final 2, but ryan should win. The week when Matt was evicted, Chelsia told Shelia not to play "the single mom card." she got pissed and told ryan so James got nominated (Sheila wanted revenge on Chelsia) and evicted and then came back to get rid of Matt. During her conversation with Chelsia she said she wouldn't play the single mom card.....that promise didn't last. She's using it to get to Adam. Ryan will get rid of Sheila. Ryan and Adam both have a 50-50 chance of being last HoH. Ryan better win and 86 Sheila.
By the way, here's something 4 u all to think about:
In week 4, Ryan became HoH and nominated Chelsia & Sharon. Chelsia used the PoV to take her self off the block. Everyone told him to replace her with Matt. The, Sheila convinced Ryan to put up James for revenge on Chelsia.
Now, as u all know, Alex was the "mystery HG." (Day 35) I have concluded that from my "research" if the other HGs knew it was Alex, he would have gotten a 5-3 vote (Matt,Ryan,Sheila,Natalie, & Adam) & James would have stayed evicted the first time. With James gone, Natalie would've won HoH on Day 36 (she came in second to James) and Matt wouldn't have been nominated at all. So Matt's eviction was purely due to the fact the the HGs didn't know it was him in the myster box. They all thought it was Allison and Sharon thought it was Jacob (he actually got the least votes). Poor, poor Matt & Alex. Alex could have gotten far WITHOUT Amanda's big mouth. He and Matt were the coolest HGs. The only ones I like are Alex, Matt, Ryan, & Adam. If only they were the final 4.....if only......

I'm minimizing my posting, and can't post any tongue-in-cheek stuff anymore. Every time I do, people flood Carolyn with complaints about me and I have to tone it down lest the blog be paralyzed by people sending in comments demanding that I be censored. Which ultimately ends up happening anyway when they successfully swamp her--so I'm just eliminating the need by self-censoring.
So, with all sense of humor removed: I definitely see all of your points about Sheila. Earlier in the season, I was calling for her head on a platter. It's just that of the remaining three HG's, she's the only one I can bear to pull for--and even that's just a slight preference. My first choice would still be "none of the above" but I don't think they'll allow that to happen.
Frankly, between the absolutely horrible show this season, and the situation here on Carolyn's blog, I seriously doubt I'll give any more of my time to Big Brother after this season anyway. So if it helps any to know it, I'm not interested enough in who wins to put up much of an argument either way.

What has Sheila won that makes her deserve the final two? Ryan has won Two HOH's and several POVs. Sheila won one HOH and that was becasue she was given it.
I don't see how Ryan is a bully at all. Sheila is far more harsh to people than Ryan by her badmouthing everyone.
Ryan on a powertrip; please! Go back and watch how Sheila treated people the week of her HOH.
And the dirty Santa comment, if Sheila would have WON that competition she could have kept the $10K. I know it's a novel concept to most but if you win something you deserve it more than if you lose. BB is not a game of handouts.

I always felt like "me think the lady doth protest too much" when it came to Adam. I believe she has feelings for him. I just dont think he has the same feelings for her. He is sweet but I dont think he likes her likes her - ya know?

I really hope AG/BB have learned a lesson. Their slipping ratings are proof. How many folks feel we would have a different f4 had they not interfered.
I pray that they have vastly improved their casting abilities and give us a healthy mix of race, age, religion, career. I would like to see some people who can speak intelligently and about something other than their selves, their exes, and sex lives. Please subject all applicants to a psychological fitness test and screen for despicable personal hygiene habits.

Anyone who's made it to the final 3, by any means necessary, has an argument to be there.
Great interview with Mick Carolyn, he's a great kid. Still hoping Adam wins today and keeps Sheila, the look on Ryans face would make my day. Ha Ha Ryan didn' win everything fair and square, Adam threw the comp to him the other night at Ryan's request before the comp and he told Adam to do the same today. I am a very proud single mom myself and my hat goes off to Sheila, she has a lot more heart than some of the houseguests this season.
If there is anyone who has done nothing for themselves in this game is Sheila. If she is so worried about being booted out she should have gave it her all instead of trying to get pitty from everyone. OH Im a 46 year old single mother!! So are alot of other women sheila. Try to better yourself for your son instead of using him as a crutch.

I have been reading everyone's empassioned comments about who deserves or does not deserve to win.
I will attempt to run some scenarios. This is just a DR blog session... I'm just doing my job as a poster.. ;)
Why Ryan deserves to win.
From the beginning he has been playing all sides of the fence and has managed to go undetected. His secret alliances were never really outed. He has won a lot of competitions and has not let anyone forget it. He has dominated the game and that sin't no compliment. He has some student loans and a whole lot of 40's to go through and not to mention a girlfriend who expects him to bring home the bacon (if he doesn't eat it first.)
Why Adam deserves to win.
He has been playing a stong game, knowing when to win and when to throiw competitions. He has given other players a chance to redeem themselves when others would not. He has shown compassion and I believe a deep affection for his hot-headed partner. He has lied and used his unintelligible words to save him when he has been caught. I believe that he will use at least some of the money to either generate jobs for people or help some underprivileged kids.
Why Sheila deserves to win.
She has been fiathful to her partner, and saved him on more than one occasion. She honroed her promise to Josn and protected Sharon for as long as she could. She is the Natalie slayer. She will use her money to improve her son's life, and descpite the fact that some people scorn her for being a single mother, I will not. Thanx. Point I was trying to make in my response to Beorn's "Sheila deserves" comment, when I said my comment was in no reflective as to whether either of the other two "deserved" to win. This is certainly not a game that does or even should come close to anyone "deserving" to win. That's like Sheila's expectations of respect being her due, not something she needs to "earn."
Dr. Will actually played the game...instead of running around saying he "deserved" it.

I agree 100% with you, both on the DR and on Sheila.
I am really tired of her condescending, self-obsessed, control-freak ways. I've never seen or heard of anyone who has the sense of entitlement that she displays. It is disgusting, and I hope her son doesn't share those qualities.
She seams to have the expectation that people whether it be Adam or even the DR should be there to HELP and FURTHER her needs (even if counter to their own best interests). She's displayed this expectation all season long countless times.
Most people try to hide that quality. But Sheila? She campaigns based on it.
She gives single mother's everywhere a bad name.
I've noticed that several of the posters that claim to be parents DO NOT feel as though Sheila deserves to win. Being a single parent, my personal feelings are that I would be self-serving, selfish and self centered to do what Sheila has done, relative to her child.
Her actions speak volumes. For me, my kids are a blessing, not a burden. Unless this is a ploy on her part to manipulate the HGs, her attitude is disturbing.

I dont understand why all the hostility against Shelia. I mean it really doesnt matter, how and what, Shelia has done or not done, in this game, the fact remains that at this point, she is one of the 3 remaining in the game. That to me says a lot. And as for as what Shelia does or doesnt do outside this game I dont think any of us really know. To me it would be hard living for 3 months with 20 something year olds, ppl that Sheila really has nothing in common with. Her life outside of the house is her son, so that is what she talks about. Adam always talks about sex, Ryan talks about Jen, Sharon was Jacob.. I agree that she does talk too much about being a single mom, and that is really not a reason that she should win the money. I still hope that Adam would take SHelia to F2. I think they made a cute couple and that they are very funny together. .......Vicki

My problem with Sheila is that she seems to be equating the word "deserves" with life outside of the house. She deserves it because she's played her single mom hard life card this whole game.
As a young widowed mother of three, that pisses me off to no end. I fight for what we have, and I hate the thought of any hand out just because life is hard or someone feels sorry for me and my kids. I avoid handouts as much as I can. Yeah, that means we don't have much, but what we have we earned.
Life IS hard, and ISN'T fair, and SUCKS half the time - but if that's all it takes to DESERVE half a mill, you can donate it to me - just drop it in my paypal. (grin) I'm sure Sheila would be ok with that, right?
She's there because they knew they could beat her for the final HOH. They openly admit that she'd have been their ' ultimate pawn' as Sharon was, if they hadn't come into power as an alliance, because she's easy to beat.
Sure, they all got to the final three through various means and 'deserve' to be there on the surface. I just don't believe she deserves final two. I don't want her to win anything. And yeah, it's probably partially me taking it personal because her sense of entitlement makes me want to scream. Heh. She gives us single mom's a bad name.
OK so I have a little ranting to do.
I wish Sheila would just stop right now. Her last ditch effort is looking really...I cant even think of a word. Shes saying she wont be sour about going to the jury house but we all know better. Shes trying really hard to turn the guys on each other by making Ryan look bad for not voting for Adam if Adam takes Sheila 2 the end. But isn't it a deal A/R have 2gether. Shes digging a hole for herself because if Adam was planning on taking her 2 the end he might be seeing how manipulative she really is.
Now a lot of people r not crazy about Ryan. But if u think about it he's played a good game as far as comps go and the whole manipulating factor. And he hasn't been afraid 2 take some risks. He's stuck to his alliances til they played out for him. And even when he was teamed up with Nat Matt Adam and Sheila he had his thing with Joshuah then Sharon. So Ryan has been smart. If he wasn't good at this comp he would not have gotten this far and would be prize-less like Sheila. And hes held several power position. Granted Adam threw one of the PoVs but if u remember Ryan had the right answer anyway. I wasn't 2 crazy about Ryan winning but looking back as far as game play goes Ryan definitely deserves to win since he has played the game.
Granted he the laid really low for the begining part of the game Adam has stepped up to the plate when he really needed 2 and showed to be a smart competitor in this game.
Sheila has done none of that. Not even when she whined about how crucial it was for her 2 win certain HoHs or PoVs. She just could not get the job done. In the comp glass houses she kept saying that she wanted 2 win that comp on her own and that she didn't want anybody to throw it for her. But the moment she saw that Ryan and Nat would throw her a bone she practically begged 4 it. Then when she was HOH and she had that argument with Adam a few minutes later she was telling Sharon how Sharon had 2 stay and protect her. Then has the nerve 2 claim that other players are spinless. Shes always expecting someone else 2 fight her battles. How can she honestly (in her mind) say that she has played a great game. She keeps saying that shes not gonna suck up 2 Adam but isn't that what shes doing? And now shes pissed that she cant get a moment with Adam so she can continue campaigning. Ryan and Adam r doing what they have been doing 4 weeks already which is hanging out. Only now that she doesn't have anyone 2 bad mouth Adam 2 shes feeling it more. Its funny how shes always telling Adam that she just pretends 2 hate him. I call BullBueno. She cant stand him but she knows without him shes done!

Having listened to the soliloquy by Sheila and previous comments by Adam and Ryan - what are the BB employees in the DR doing?...Directing this "game"?
One of the best techniques to persuade a person is to ask the "right questions". Plus, to pull someone in to the DR to create an environment conducive to another HG, isn't that like teaming up against someone? You know, as much as I enjoy BB and this site, that will temper things in a hurry.
Sheila's commentary sounded as though she was being coached. If that is the case, then is this part of what the HGs agreed to with their contracts?

Oh the days of Dr. Will. I do so miss him. He was such a good manipulator. It was amazing to watch him intentionally lose comps and still end up winning just based on his sheer powers of persuasion. How nice would it have been to have someone in the house this season that could of been half the player that Dr. Will was. sigh!!! I can only hope that we have someone like him in BB10.

As for the HG's, anyone who made it to final 3 "deserves" to be there, by the sheer act of being there. There is no criteria. You get to the end my getting to the end.

Personally I hope Sheila wins because anyone who can win this game doing what she did for three months has earned it. Her sheer lack obvious or coherent game play clearly makes her far more clever than any of us. Seriously, the woman used what she had. If being an annoying self indulgent brat works for you, go for it baby. Besides, I think we have seen much more to Sheila than we thought she had. She may not have thems' there book learnin' smarts, but she's a smart woman. She used being a woman in a way Natalie could only dream of. Three martini’s to the broad with slightly smeared lipstick perched at the end of the bar.
Adam, well who knows. That he can be manipulated by Sheila (and others) is what I like about the guy. He's got a good soul under that weird 2008 mixed with 1942 bravado. He's the gangsta version of the Rat Pack, and ya got to love that. You know he'd help an old lady across the street and slip a hundred in her purse on his way from the last bank job. Three scotch on the rocks to the man in the pin striped suit smoking a blunt at the end of the bar.
Ryan, or Slugo as I so affectionately call him - he should win the same way every class bully has ever won anything, with a swagger and without a look back. Ha Ha (a la The Simpsons). Don't like the guy, but if he can block and tackle his way to the end, three brewsky’s to the guy with his ass crack showing puking over the end of the bar.

Heh. Thanks Genie - I fully admit that my reasonings are probably more personal, because I can't stand the woman. Ya don't demand respect just because of age or situation - but because you've earned it. Ya don't use your kids as a shield, then get angry when the bullets hit them. You just dig in your heels, (pretty strappy ones, as necessary) and fight for what you need.
And actually, I'd love to do BB - but not until my kids are graduated to functioning adults - and I discover a bikini body under all my fluff. If the show is still around come the year 2017, I may consider it. Heh.

Actually if I was smart I would have grabbed notebook and margaritas and gone to the beach. I live 5 min off LBI, south Jersey shore.Sure I could have found open wireless there. Ladies, let me tell you from personal experience (be it alot, especially from Sunday) you mix half/half salt and sugar for the rim of the margarita glasses and YUM! I was never a sugar fan, always a salt fan but it makes your K-ankles, I mean ankles, swell up sooooo much. So I started the half/half approach and its really awesome!
Back to the game, I have NO idea who I want to win. But Jane's store was hilarious!!!!! I love the account of Adam and you put into words what I couldn't.... Thanks Jane!

Wow--thanks, everyone. It's the great posters here, and Carolyn's incredible work, that have kept me coming back even after I could only shrug at the TV show. I genuinely like the blog for its own sake.
Having said that, if you can think of a way to solve the problem, I'm sure Carolyn would be glad to hear it for future seasons! On my own blog, I simply disallowed anonymous posters and required moderation for the registered users who posted--but that's not a very practical solution when you want and need a blog to be seen by as many people as possible. Without tight restrictions, though, one sarcastic post from someone like me about sacrificing a cute animal to the gods, and whammo--a denial-of-service attack in miniature.
I actually wish I could meet a lot of you in person--there seem to be so many cool people here! Take care!

Wow, my exact words were that Adam and Sheila should be final 2. I did not say Sheila deserved it. To elaborate on that opnion, In the end I would like to see Adam win the game.
And to question Ryan's power tripping? I guess maybe you missed the interview last night where he admitted he was a 'power whore'. hmmm...
Let's see Sheila won the Motorcycle, Adam won $10,000, he gave Sheila the $10,000 and took the Motorcycle. Ryan won 'a red jumpsuit' and took the $10,000. Gave Sheila the jumpsuit. Ultimately Chelsia won the POV in that comp. So, again,, in my opnion that was very greedy of Ryan. If it came to Monetary value, and omitting the POV; Sheila more than likely won, however the rules were written to allow people to show their true greed. Therefore, again 'In my opinion' Ryan is greedy.
everyone cheering for the "deserving" shila to win should petition BB for a homeless and handicapped season, then we can have a true champion. instead of a perectly healthy 46 yr old charity case.
i think ryan will win if he takes adam because he will have sharon, josh, chelsea (called adam spineless) and natalie probably.

Competitions aren't everything and she did flip the house, she also had the balls to kick out natalie and kept ties with both sides to insure jury votes. Sheila didn't play a competition game , she played a floater social game, which is just as good, or better then a strong physical game. Dr. Will won nothing but ended up winning the money (not saying Big She is on his level, however she did play it well). Plus everyone has to give her some credit for being the person everyone wanted out first, to being one of the final three. She even won an hoh, endurance hoh arent even about how long you can stay up, it is about if you can get a good enough deal and convince people to give it to ya. In Short ... Go Big She!

What upset me the most is her single mother BS There are many single mothers and most have more than one child, me incl'd. I am voting for Adam to take Sheila. Alot of people want to knock the way she played the game, but look where she is at. If you want to call her a floater or not it is still a gameplay. She is in the F3 and the rest aren't. Game played. Go Sheila I hope you can convince Adam to take you.
Everyone of them have had to do dirty work to get there, that is the game. If you are strong, you are gone. If you are with the wrong alliance, you are gone. Every move you make is gameplay and could cost you. So Sheila has played the game (just not to your liking). Simple as that.
