Easter Basket
1:55pm BBT
The HGs just received a Huge Easter basket from BB. They're all very excited. Natalie's particularly jazzed about the bunny that can be painted. They received all kinds of candy, a candy making kit and eggs galore.
Natalie suggest they hide the eggs from each other and have a hunt. Ryan says "Big Brother gave me an Easter Nicotine patch. Thanks, Big Brother!" Sharon jumps on board with the egg hunt idea. Natalie says, "we'll paint em, then we'll hide em."
James is the only one who isn't taking part in the happy little fest. He's lying in bed.
Here's some more pics...

Awww thats cute :) haha
ps: it's kinda sad that james is lying in bed
agreed
maybe he's just tired after all of his wondering the house last night
or maybe he's just mad about the eggs getting boiled...such a baby!!!
how's your easter been, carolyn?
--thanks for doing this site; even on easter!
Isn't it amazing how much one appreciates the little things in life, like Reese's eggs and Paas egg dye when they're locked up in a house?! We should all be this excited for treats!
PS -- Since when is James such a party pooper?! ;)
One would think he would be spending as much time with Chelsia as possible, not sulking in bed.
Get up, join the fun. Play the game part only when you have to, the rest of time you should enjoy the experience.
rah rah rootie toot
she belongs in an institute
natalie natalie yesssss, natalie
I have been listening to Chelsia and Sharon talk for a while now and I realize that these two girls are playing roles in the house and are more than level headed about the outside and what will and will not happen after the show. They are showing some real smarts -
unlike delusional Nat and Sheila who thinks this will lead to bigger things and that their lives will be so different.
Reality check, please.
I can't help it... but I have a hard time routing for delusional people to win this game. Even Adam and Ryan are making fun of Nat and her delusions. It's sad.
Sad James is in bed? Possibly. But he has in the past made it very clear that he doesn't believe in the Christianity "thing" (as he calls it, among other things).
At least his refusal to participate in the observation of Easter means the other HGs cannot accuse him of being two-faced or hypocritical.
I've seen many comments (my own among them) pertaining to Natalie claiming to be Christian and then talking and acting like anything but a Christian.
No one will be able to say James says one thing (wanting nothing to do with religion) but does another (participating in the observation of a religious holiday).
BTW, the "saying one thing, doing another" I don't apply to the lying and backstabbing going on in this game. That is all this game is, and you either play it like that or you go home before everyone else.
I am really enjoying the kitchen convo between Chelsia and Sharon but I wish she would tell us what she keeps saying she can't talk about in the house and will tell Chelsia at the wrap party or in sequester!!!
I have a question.....did James actually tell Chelsia her face looked puffy today and that she can't even fly back to Iowa because she's gotten to f'ing fat??
Sorry for the delay...
I'm trying to respond in kind to a couple hundred happy easter comments on myspace.
stupid question: is he jewish?
even then, you get free chocolate!!!
and i love easter hunts =], natty can be a *ahem* giving, for lack of a better term, but she knows how to make the house fun!
jeny - i never heard it. doesn't mean he didn't say it...
klintz - i don't believe he is.
i am.. and letting the jew/free thing slide. once.
I am so glad BB went and got them an egg dying kit! I mean really! Something to perk them up a little and break up the monotony of being in that house!
I hope they have fun for a little bit!
Happy Easter!
xte...
I agree... I am getting curious. But she can't. ;-)
Also, I anever have my feeds on Nat and She if I have an option... but nevertheless the sound of their voices bleed into the other feeds. Frustrating.
Your so amazing.
Hey! Im jewish too.
Although, from expierence, its not fun to party when you really dont feel like it.
Bad day James?
He tells her she's fat all the time, but I did catch one occasion when he was HoH, where he tells her he likes her as she is. Nice awww moment.
I think he's just one of those guys who gives a girl a hard time when he likes her..ie: farting in her face.
Happy Easter!!!
;)
I Don't get the sense this easter thing is particularly religous for any of these people. It seems to be about pink dresses, hidden eggs, and candy.
One wonders why Natalie isn't organizing some kind of service.
(Kidding. Not wondering the least bit. I don't think she knows that easter has anything to do with religion).
OK all hands up who after being in the house with these wack jobs wouldnt be hiding in bed also. Come on hands up folks. I thought so, youd have to pry me out.
I have a feeling the next National show we see Matt and Nat is gonna be COPS, its 5-2 in vegas that they appear together in an episode.
Charlie
lol. I think klintz just meant no matter what your religion, everybody likes free chocolate.
Amen.
icing lumbar - back in a bit
Jane --- Thank you for the clairfication. Im so wired on diet coke im assuming everyone can understand what im saying.
and, he [james] really should be so sad, if Chelsia really is going, *sniff* then he should spend as much time as her, as it sounds like their doing (THANK YOU carolyn for you amazing updates)
I heard the fat comments he made about Chelsia too today (or yesterday- it's all a blur) and I really did not like it! I've liked James and I have thought that those two were so cute together and I have even liked their game play at times but I DO NOT like any sort of emotional abuse and I consider that to be abuse. That's just my two-cents.
Happy Easter Carolyn! I hope you have a wonderful day.
Jamie
Thanks, Jamie :) Happy Easter to you too!
klintz :) thank you and sorry for jumping the gun there...
I've been trying for a couple of days now, to figure a way to say this without being...you know. So here goes:
If I was James' mother, and I lived in Alaska, I would have driven him to Orlando and "dropped him off" too!!
ouch. i wouldn't have.
Man, Josh sure snores.
ron I totally agree. Though it is a certainty that some backstabbing is essential, there is a way to play the game with SOME integrity.
However, I can't mention honesty in the game and not mention Jameka, my fellow Marylander, who was totally screwed by AmERICa for playing a totally honest game...
Ok this may not be the place to it but .............Hi! I've been reading ur blog forever! I can't believe you would be so nice and blog everything good/important to the show from the live feeds! Wow you are great! I feel like such a freeloaderr because i'm not allowed to have the live feeds :( And you go above and beyond to put little tidbits of conversations up while others just talk about the situationin general and leave like that and your like " But what did they say?!"
Anyway lol I think James is in complete control of the house! It going to be hard to get him out of the house a second time! But i'm also think BB is losing it's class even though techniciallyy it never had any! All this crazy stuff that's happening can't even be shown on t.v. and that's the way they want it they want the public to form an opinion especially not just from the show they show but the live feeds too! That's how people get "addicted" to the show. I wonder if a monumental alliance will be made like eric, jessica, dick, danielle alliance. If James and Chelsia can do that that would be great! But they have to make sure they don't second guess themselves and like Jeric did! ( I hated it when they did that! One of them could of won!)
Anyway thank you for all you've done for us BB fans!
James @ 5:24 - well, Jameka really kind of messed herself up with her offer to be ineligible to play for HoH FIVE times.
I also think her religious fanatisism and continually gluing herself to Amber also had a little bit to do with it. Her housemates weren't overly impressed with that.
And, remember, America had nothing to do with deciding the winner, so it is slightly disengenuous of you to claim that Jameka's honesty caused America to somehow have something to do with her loss.
ron What I meant was thoug America didn't pick the final winner, Eric was repeatedly forced to betray his alliance partners. Jameka did make it to the final four but the combination of her selflessness albeit ill-advised and Eric's forced disarmament of the alliance removed any impact she could have made on the outcome far before that time.
Jameka put her faith in Eric and by proxy America. I don't think it disingenuous at all to assert that America had a hand in some of her troubles. She and Amber did have a pow-wow of crazy though calling themselves the "good ones" and such.
