Random Thoughts
Is it just me, or has this cast not directly addressed us, the live feed viewers, even once? They've talked about us, but never to us... Can you think of any instances?
Maybe we got spoiled last season with the Dick at Night Show and during All-Stars where the lot of them were completely live feed savvy...
Matt came the closest that night with Natalie, when he looked directly into camera when she was done and shot a huge grin and a thumbs up, but no actual words...
I wonder if they were told not to...
Also missing are shout outs- to any sites at all. They've mentioned reading blogs, about the tranny rumor and a couple of other instances, but never which ones... unless it just completely escaped me.

Matt has addressed us a few times but nothing crazy. Actually last week when James said Matt was safe, Matt looked in a camera and said, "Hear that America?" Ironic cause James went back on his word. Matt also said something into a camera after a convo with Allison a few days ago. But you're right, they don't address us near as much as last season!
I've seen Matt look into the camera on several occassions and whisper something into his microphone but it's always blocked out by BB! So I'm thinking they are doing this on purpose too.
Alex was doing his whole "talk show" with the cameras. And he was NOTORIOUS for talking straight to the camera. Such a cute ham! I miss him :o(
I have seen Matt. And the talked about Facebook and Myspace and then it went to flames.
mh Alex has adressed the viewers and even given myspace a shout-out. They were having a conversation in the frilly room i believe, and he looked right at the camera and spelled out his myspace account and said something to the viewers. :)
I seem to recall one of the houseguests saying that they were told not to talk to the cameras. Wish I could remember who but I do remember that being said.
This is my first season watching big brother, I know, im sorry. Lol. But they have not addressed us the live feeds at all, which made me think that they were not allowed to. It would be nice to hear them talk about us once and a while.
I think alot of the HGs havnt even seen the live feeds.Amanda thought we only have the 4 views of what they get in the HOH room,and I heard James say that too.One night when Natalie was getting a massage she thought that we couldnt see it!!Remeber Jen thinking that BB would give her and Ryan privacy while they both where in the bathroom.I think only a hand full of them have only seen the tv show and they are not too savy on the seasons.Josh thinks Dick poored water over Jen!These ppl dont know anything!Sheila didnt even know when they played for HOH I heard Josh tell her one night.Did BB get ppl that know the least about the show?Is this why we have little or very bad game play?I think so.
I thought that the funniest one was when Parker was massaging Amanda and then looks at the camera and says oh yeah they are loving this shit! They are zooming right in on this, while he was massaging her thighs. Also, the other night while Alex and Amanda were play fighting he talked to us. And there have been many references to us by saying, you're watching all this right, you see what's going on. They have also mentioned or gave a shout out to showtime viewers a few times at night. So they do talk to us just not rude and complaintively.
I've noticed it as well along with the missing connection that some HG's make with the camera crew / behind the wall crew.
You're idea about being told not to is very plausible for many reasons. If they win HOH then they can blog with shout-outs.
This season seems to be filled with many mentions of "oh I can't talk about that, so-n-so didn't sign the release". That's a first for me... I never once heard anyone mention people having to sign releases till this season... am I wrong?
i miss alex and amanda:( i think something has to be going on... no early show, no house calls...hm..
Totally unrelated to this post (sorry), but I think if they're going to bring anyone back into the house, there should be a competition where the winner (and re-activated player) is determined by who wants it the most and is willing to sacrifice the most to get back into the house. An endurance comp, selling off your privileges in the house, a physical/mental/strategic task, or a dynamic contest that involves all sorts of these aspects. I would love to see any of it.
Why?
Because America sucks at picking who goes back into the game. Actually, so do the houseguests. I want someone who is going to play, to get a second chance. Not a lame duck. This house is already lacking in gameplay. It would suck to put more non-game players BACK into the house. Determine who best has a shot to do well in the game and let them go back in. If that's Allison. Fine. If that's Jacob. Awesome. If that's Alex. Fabulous.
But voting people back in, who don't have the skills or the desire to not get sent right back out the door, is a waste of the twist. Let the evictees fight it out for that right.
so i'm not new to big brother - but i am new to the feeds. i was just wondering if they were like this for all seasons past - only showing certain people alot and whatnot. it seems like josh is always on the feeds. and they don't show much of james and adam. and i don't understand why there are four feeds when they are really only showing two rooms/conversations at a time. it's kind of frustrating when they cut away suddenly from one convo to a completely different one.

This is also unrelated to the post but Julie said the evicted couple will get a surprise. I'm wondering if, with all the references to "Jericho", it has something to do with that show. (Like Amber and Dani on "Power of 10"). I'm probably way off base but it was just a thought.
I am not sure what is going on, but Carolyn you know if I had made it past the semi-final interviews bb9dish woulda been outta my mouth every other 2 seconds! There is always season 10... Keep up the good work!
I remember one of Matt's shining moments. He was massaging Natalie and mimicking to the cameras [or the people in the walls] that she was driving him nuts. She just wouldn't shut up! It was early on - before Hummergate.
this is way out there..but i was just getting into my feeds...and the first advertisement for big brother on real plater was.. " BIG BROTHER TWIST...will Amanda and Alex be returing to the House?"
Even though I hated Dick it was nice to have someone speaking to us, letting us in on their inner thoughts without having to deal with the editing that CBS does with the diary room sessions.
Favorite ever talk-to-the-camera moment? Absolutely Dr. Delicious and his long conversation with the backyard camera. I thought I was going to fall out of my chair when the camera moved and he's started saying "wait a minute, baby, where you goin'?" Such a riot.
I have heard several of them past and present address the camera and say "America".....
Parker did it while massaging Amanda.. thats one I can remember..
know that Matt, Alex & Amanda have also done it..
"America" doesn't impress me...
I want "internet", "Live feed watchers".. something like that...
America is too all-encompassing - it doesn't acknowledge the feeds directly.

After watching Wed's episode again, did anyone else notice Julie's comment to Alex when he talked about going home? I thought I heard it swhen I watched the live show, but had to replay it to be sure...and I didn't see them on the Early show or House calls...maybe they can come back????

Yeah Matty is the only one who has been doing it that I've seen. Although, I've hardly watched it this season; I'm having a hard time getting attached, they are going home in the bucket loads.

Yeah, that would be much more satisfying than viewers or houseguests voting someone back in...especially if they evicted houseguests get to compete as INDIVIDUALS rather than couples and the TWO top winners in that comp go back into the house as a 'new' couple. THAT would be an awesome twist! Here's hoping....
No, No. I agree with Carolyn. They apparently haven't seen the shows and don't seem to know anything game wise, it's kind of annoying. I'm honestly surprised they would pick people that are so out of the loop. They should choose watchers like us, Live Feeders... cause the show would rock, we know how it's supposed to be played and this season... BLOWS.
