BB9Dish - Ya Gotta Have it!

The DishChicks are back and ready to blog Big Brother 9!!
At bb9dish, we cover the Big Brother Live Feeds, so much of what we write could be considered a spoiler for those who only watch the broadcast on CBS. Now, we don't understand why anyone would choose to do that, since it's like forming an opinion based on 1/10,000th of the information, and they could at least try the feeds for free, but what do we know?! Check bb9dish often for Updates, videos, pics, chops, opinions, etc. xoxo, C-n-C

Big Brother 9: 'Til Death Do You Part
Broadcast Schedule, America's Vote, Feeds Info, House Calls Co-Hosts & New Additions to BB9Dish

The folks at CBS Publicity have released new information this morning about absolutely everything Big Brother 9 related. The new schedule, voting this season, Housecalls... Dick's gonna co-host a couple days a week alongside Gretchen, and Dani will be popping in too.

Here's the official word on voting:

"AMERICA'S VOTE: During the season, fans will have the opportunity to cast impact votes. Fans can send in their votes via text message on most major wireless carriers."
Below here is the broadcast schedule. Before you scroll, there's one thing made me say Hmmmm... Wednesday the 13th is listed as the first eviction, but Wednesday the 20th is listed as LIVE eviction. Makes me wonder if the first eviction show will not be live. We'll know for certain tomorrow night on the Live Feeds, when there are either 16, 15 or 14 houseguests there.
    Broadcast Schedule:
    Tuesday, Feb. 12
    9:00-10:00 PM

    Wednesday, Feb. 13
    8:00-9:00 PM
    First Eviction

    Sunday, Feb. 17
    8:00-9:00 PM

    Tuesday, Feb. 19
    9:00-10:00 PM

    Wednesday, Feb. 20
    8:00-9:00 PM Live Eviction

Kinda makes ya wonder, no?

Here's what they had to say about Housecalls:
HOUSE CALLS: THE BIG BROTHER TALK SHOW, the no-charge, half-hour, live streaming video and on-demand talk show, returns for its fifth season with broadcasts every Monday through Friday (1:00 PM/ET, 10:00 AM/PT) on CBS.com.

HOUSE CALLS will be hosted by radio personality Gretchen Massey along with new co-host BIG BROTHER 8 winner "Evel" Dick Donato. Massey will interact with viewers through phone calls and e-mails, discuss events that transpire in the Big Brother house, offer prognostications, analyze strategies and interview former "Big Brother" Houseguests as well as current Houseguests following their eviction.
They didn't mention Daniele, for some reason, but according to her blog, she "will be co-hosting House Calls every Monday with Gretchen..."

Dick's blog mentions that he "came to an agreement with CBS.com to Co-Host Housecalls this season on Wed. & Thurs., which means that in addition to Gretchen doing exit interviews, yes.... I will be grilling them on their way out the door."

He's also talking to Showtime about "basically hosting BBAD." We shall see.

And here's the official word from the folks at CBS about the feeds:
The webcast coverage debuts immediately following the Feb. 12 premiere of BIG BROTHER...

The entire three-month live 24/7 Internet feed of BIG BROTHER: 'TIL DEATH DO YOU PART will be available through SuperPass. Subscribers to the 24/7 video stream can watch any one of four live camera feeds from inside the Big Brother house or catch all of the action at once with the special quad-cam view which allows fans to see four different video feeds simultaneously.

Subscribers will also have access to an exclusive, subscribers-only Web chat that will allow fans from across the country to converse about what they see live on the feeds. Fans will be able to interact with one another and stay engaged with the show through Big Brother-focused blogs, chat rooms, message boards, weekly polls and other new interactive features.

Once you've signed up for the feeds, using either the Monthly or the Quarterly option, both of which include 2 weeks free, you'll be able to launch the feeds right here from the blog!

We added a "Launch the Feeds" box to the sidebar yesterday, with the incredible assistance of ReporterX, and it gives you the option of low or high speed, as well as all the possible angles. Again, this only works if you've already signed up.

Speaking of new additions, we also created a streaming bb9dish widget to the sidebar. If you click at the bottom of it where it says "Get Widget," you'll be given the option to add it to your myspace, desktop, facebook and a bunch of other places. Best of all, the widget will tell you when there's a new post on the blog! :)

There will be more spiffy new additions to the blog happening within the next 24 hours. We're very excited for the season to begin! Can ya tell???

It would be too annoying for me to see ED hosting House Calls and BBAD! Yuck!

All of this sounds spiffy, BUT........Please, if anybody in control is listening.....NO MORE GRETCHEN MASSEY!
She has the personality of a paper plate, and gets more and more annoying as time goes by.

I have nothing against her personally, but she kind of brings the quality of "House Calls" down to almost a "Wayne's World" mentality.
Thanks for your hard work in keeping us all up to date, Carolyn!

I had already signed up for the feeds before they offered the 3 month option. I'm still in my free two weeks. Do you think I be able to take advantage of the 3 month deal when my two weeks is over?

Dr. Detroit -- I thought I was the only one who felt that way... ;)

It's going to be a LONG 4 days waiting for BB on CBS from Wednesday til Sunday (instead of Thursday to Sunday)...

(I guess that's just one more reason to get the feeds though, huh?!)

I'll take Gretchen over Dick anyday...

That doesn't say much, but that's that...

How sad...

I agree. Gretchen makes me crazy!
But here's my first impression when I read that Dick would co-host with Gretchen:
"But I thought Gretchen H-A-T-E-D Evel Dick!?!?!"
I wonder how THAT'S gonna work??

There better not be an eviction on Wed. It's bad enough that we don't see literally 5 days of action, but to have a eviction on the 2nd show is crazy.

But, like all other years, I'm 90% sure they won't have one.

I'm a fan of Gretchen, but anybody would be an upgrade over Bunky last year.
