Big Brother 9 Overnight Report
Good morning, Big Brother Lovers! With all the excitement in the BB9 house yesterday, we were up pretty late last night covering as much as possible. Still, as much effort as we put into it, bb9dish is no substitute for the live feeds. Anyhow, the Overnight Report is rather short this morning - just a few moments with James & Chelsia, then Alex and Amanda. James & Chelsia
After kissing Chelsia a bit, and getting the scoop from her that she promised her parents she would not have sex on tv, James leaves to satisfy his fixation on the items in the guinea pig cage.

Amanda & Alex's Bed
Checking in with Amanda and Alex. They're sleeping, but this is the first glimpse we've had of them in a while, and they're having a nice unconscious cuddle. Alex has his arm draped over her in a very protective position.

He just reached over searching for her hand and then petted it and then they held hands... rolled over and put her leg over his and she held his arm and when she did that it put his hand near her crotch but not on it. Now she's turned over slightly and his shoulder and hand are still on top of hers in the middle of the bed and their legs are next to eachother. She has her head on his shoulder and his hand isn't near her crotch...just laying next to hers so that they are touching.

Now she's laying on her stomach with her butt scooted toward him and Alex is on his back with his leg up over her butt and leg.

on another note, who else is stoked to see alex and amanda cuddling???? i'm so excited and hope they can stay in the house!!
does anyone have an update on natalie? i know i said i thought she was faking for attention before BUT in the event that she really is sick, would like to know if she's okay...

This house is just crazie!!!
I found some info on Sheila. I am sure others know this, but I haven't seen any comments on it. Here goes:
Remember the other night when Ryan and Allison were in bed, and Sheila was sitting on the floor next to them talking about her book. She spoke about "something that happened in her life" something that she "wouldn't discuss in this house" but would talk to Allison about later.
Sheila was on Dateline several years ago saying that she was kidnapped by the sultan of brunei. Seems that a while back the sultan was accused of having several beautiful women visit him, but wouldn't let them leave. There were several models and pageant queens who accused him of this. Sheila was one of them!
This has to be the basis for her book.
James and chelsia make a good match for each other and they are really supportive of one another. They are not given much credit as a couple. They are the only couple in this house that seem to always be on the same page, and I do not think that either one of them has ever said anything negative about one another to the other HGs. That's the way this game is suppose to be played.
If Amanda would just be honest about her feelings for Alex, then I think that they may have the potential to be a good couple. She likes him enough to call him her husband, do I think she should just stop playing those school-girl games. Alex is weary of Amanda because of the all the things that she has done to him, but it looks like he has forgiven her enough to sleep in the same bed/cuddle her.

Peni, I am really excited about alex & amanda too!!! I was hoping he would take care of her after what happened.
I also Am very Stoked to see Alex and Amanda cuddling.. they are so cute together.. Amanda is Very Lucky Alex seems to be a Gentleman and a well mannered man.. He's also VERY hot!! LOL.. Amanda is a very pretty girl.. I hope Matt and Natt are The Ones to go.. and A&A stay!! ALL THE WAY!!

i love alex and amanda! they make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.. they truly seem so cute togehter.
has anyone noticed... that even though amandas hair is brown it looks blonde in the night feeds..alex's is brown also but in the night feeds it stays brown..?? just an observation.

I remember that Dateline story because I am a geek and used to tape everything. Who knows... may even have the tape somewhere. It was a creepy story because the women couldn't leave and go back to the US as they pleased.
As for Amanda and Alex... I like flirting... but
PLEASE NO MORE SHOWMANCES... they never work in real life, long term. Even those who came in as couples did not last past the year after leaving. Wonder if that will be the same with Jen & Ryan as well.
Once Ryan sees that Jen really did call him a racist I am concerned with how they will do.
But some showmances work - look at Rob and Amber from Survivor - I LOVE them!!! If you can trust each other in that game and not screw eachother over you can make it through anything! And they were the only couple on The Amazing Race who wasn't at each others throats the whole time. Sorry - off topic just thought I would mention that sometimes they do work, but it is rare.
I am so happy to see Alex and Amanda cuddling as well. He seems like a really genuine guy not like that sleezeball Matt!

I didn't say that showmances on other shows aren't working... there is just something about the 24/7 of Big Brother. People meeting on Survivor have a total different track record. Rob and Amber, Ethan and Jenna to only mention two of them. There are more.
I think that before Amanda becomes emotionally/physically involved with anyone, she needs to work on herself. Just because they appear to be cute, does not mean that they are compatible with one another. This is a scripted show and often times the contestants are encouraged to do these things to raise ratings.
The squeaky wheel always gets the oil. If they are always over each other(sex sells-notice how A/A are always touching themselves/both have their hands in their pants), then they get more air time. More airtime means more exposure for Amanda's modeling career and free advertising for Alex's DJ business. They have watched previous BB and are aware of what they need to do to draw attention to themselves.
Amanda pointed this out when she was talking to Alex about her shorts. She said that she does not wear short shorts in her normal world, but wanted to do that because that was what the other contestants on previous shows did to draw attention to themselves. Later in the conversation, she changed her story. Poor Amanda. This is why she does not need to be involved with anyone right now, she needs to find herself.
