Adam: She's not playin' today, this chick. She said a half hour (til the Veto Ceremony).
James: Another song please. Guns n Roses... I'm in the pool.. naked.
BB: Natalie, I said it's time to get up for the day!

Adam comes in to the kitchen and greets Ryan... then into the bathroom to greet all the half dressed women. He comes back out to Ryan, who is determinedly eating breakfast, after sufficiently annoying Sheila. Doesn't take long.

- ***For those wondering how Ryan hurt his neck - He did it weight lifting. For those curious about James' reason for believing in ghosts and/or angels - James said he was at a friend's house, and the friend's grandfather had died in the house. Late at night, the rocking chair the grandfather always used to sit and rock in would rock on it's own... as if the ghost of the grandfather was there.

Adam goes to the Storage Room to grab his laundry, then heads back up to the HoH room with it.

The women are all in the bathroom getting gorgeous.
James is eating breakfast.
Ryan comes into the bathroom. He's moving like he's still in quite a lot of pain. Ouch.. I can see the spasm from here. Ryan asks Sheila which nickname she prefers.
She likes Sheil & Big Sheil. She doesn't like SheBot. One of her exes, a musician, called her Yoko. James calls in from the dining table, asking if his friends called her Yoko too. She says yes. They guys talk about how Yoko wasn't liked by many people. Ryan chimes in that she was ugly.
Chatter about John and Yoko... Ryan knew he was murdered, but not that he was shot outside his building. Natalie says she's gonna make James a Mr know it all plaque. James just says it's common knowledge... like virtue. Natalie counters...

Natalie's back on being "glad Matty's gone because he lied so much" about her. Ryan's keeping a straight face. Sharon's saying she'd kill someone for spreading lies about her on national tv like that. Nat says she'll slap him across the face when she sees him.

BB Control Booth Can't stomach it. They switch all 4 feeds to baller in the backyard playing with the remote control truck. He's quite good, actually. Ryan comes out to join him.. He plays with his own truck. Both complain the batteries suck. Sheila comes out, and they both aim their trucks to run over her feet.

James: Like dude, you told me that last time, and I got successfully backdoored. Unless you got some magic powers back there, I'm gone.
Sharon: It's kinda a done deal. We just have 3 days to ride it out.
James: Yeah.
Sharon: It's probably gonna start pretty soon.
James: What?
Sharon: The Veto Ceremony. It's right around 11 o'clock. Usually it starts right before noon.

Anybody else pick up on Sheila's absolute anger at Adam for his making the statement that he heard Asian men had small penises?
Natalie and Adam called her out about getting so angry; telling her she needed to chill.
Sheila's response was "no, no, because I just hate it when people make general statements like that."
WHAT???? I guess Sheila's "generalized" statement that "homeless people are all bums and cons, you can't trust any of them" is okay. This woman contradicts herself so often, I'm surprised any of the HGs will even have a discussion with her for fear she would find something wrong with anything they said.
for a while there last night I thought that James actually had a chance but apparently not after Ryan was tellin everybody

Thanks for all of the updates overnight. It was much like a soap opera, building up hope for an ending I would like, and then back to the reality of James going home Wednesday.
If it ends up being Team Christ in the final four I will be disappointed. I also HATE that Adam will carry Sheila to the end.

ron - Sheila said it was racist and she's absolutely right. She has a strong sense of ethics, which I like about her. She just forgets all about her ethics when she gets worked up about the game. Not liking that about her so much.

I am so impressed how shebot is able to play the game isolated from the world, and yet she has her finger on the pulse of how america views her, adam and the competition. She sure nailed it when she said the folks with the feeds, bbad, and I thought she was gonna add dish, would all view her and adam as such a fairy tail couple, cheering them on and so impressed by their game. Its almost as if she is able to read this blog and im sure the others that are out there. Uncanny, just uncanny.

once James goes (with way more grace then Chelsia btw) it will be great b/c it'll be time for Team Christ to turn on each other. How will it go? Could be Rye and Nat bringing in Sharon versus Baller and BigShe or Rye/Baller/Sharon against Nat and BigShe or girls vrs guys. I love the end stretch of BB...anything can happen. Remember Allstars and how Janelle didn't end up final two? Crazy how all that played out.

Sharon is playing both sides and believes she has an alliance with Ryan. I don't think she does and she will likely be next leaving Team C to their fate. The origin of the expression “a cup of Joe”.
From the beginning, the U.S. Navy issued each sailor a daily ration of distilled spirits. At that time, it was common practice and formed an official part of life afloat. In 1806 the Navy tried to replace rum (which was imported) with whiskey but rum was generally preferred. Subsequently, beer was offered as an alternative; and later, a cash payment in lieu of the daily spirit ration for those who did not imbibe.
The beginning of the nineteenth century saw the stirrings of temperance activities due to a great increase in the consumption of alcoholic beverages. It was no surprise therefore, when in 1862, Congress ruled that “the spirit ration in the Navy of the United States shall forever cease.” While the law abolished alcohol for the enlisted men, it did not however, apply to officers. Then on July 1st, 1914 (six years before Prohibition) the then Secretary of the Navy, Josephus Daniels, issued General Order 99, which strictly prohibited “the use or introduction for drinking purposes of alcoholic liquors on board any naval vessel, or within any navy yard or station”. Wow you guys weren't lying. Nat really does put on 20 lbs of makeup a day. It just makes her look older, and cheaper.

I really liked Natalie without makeup last night. She did look younger and more vulnerable. She's not a great beauty like Sheila was at that age, but she's pretty and sweet looking. I bet her body was amazing before the giant fake boobs, athletic and in proportion. Too bad she's so neurotic. Maybe she'll grow out of it and learn what she really has, versus what she has to put on.

You are correct, to a point. I went back to that portion of BBAD (approx. 10:15 p.m. BB time) to listen again, to see whether I had misunderstood Sheila's reaction. (As another poster stated, "thank God for Tivo.")
She did say twice that it was a racist comment. However, she stated more often that the "generalizing" is what
bothered her. Even when Natalie asked her to drop it, that it was getting way too intense for her, Sheila's response was "no, no, what I don't like is when people make 'generalized' statements."
She was so busy talking over everybody she did not hear Adam's continual protests that he wasn't making that statement, that this is what he had heard, and since Sheila has already stated she had been with Asian men, he was asking her if the statement was true.
When Adam was finally able to make her understand he was asking her rather than making the statement, she realized she was wrong in her attack on Adam, and her only comment was "whatever, go on Natalie, ask the next one."
Frankly, I am totally unable to remember a time when Sheila has demonstrated any ethics, whatsoever. She continually makes statements that she then calls the other HGs on for making. Because of her age, Sheila seems to honestly believe she is the "know all, end all" when it comes to how the HGs should act and talk. (jmho)
She may have given lip-service to supposed ethics, but I find her to be disingenuous (I know you, Jane, know what this word means -- but, for the benefit of the few people who may not know, I am providing the following dictionary definition: not noble; unbecoming true honor or dignity; mean; unworthy; fake or deceptive; as, disingenuous conduct or schemes.), irrespective of her constant protestations to the contrary.
Sheila is the worst offender of making a statement, and then calling other people out when they make the same type of statement. She is not the ONLY offender, but by far the worst.
Irrespective of whether or not I like Sheila, I feel her picture should be beside the definition of disingenous. (The same way Natalie's belongs beside the definitions of "phony Christian" and "hypocrite.")
Leave it to the DR to mess around with their heads. They do it every time. James had a good run. He was evicted and came back so he was given a chance. He aligned with the wrong hgs thats his fault. He got a fair shake now it's time for him to go.

ron - we are debating nuance, for sure. Sheila is certainly disingenuous, a whole hell of a lot of the time. I think she perceives herself as having a strong ethical core, and certain kinds of discrimination (or perceived discrimination) bother her a lot. Of course the fact that she is completely inconsistent makes her, well, disingenuous.
I'm not so much defending her, as much as agreeing that it's a racist comment, and not mere generalization. Although, it's so stupid, I'm not planning on attending any parades . Also, Adam was really trying to bust her b*lls, not offend Asians (national TV does make it a tad tougher to get away with using stereotypes as a tool for jest - unless of course you are a sitcom writer, than it's mandatory).
I have never been a Sheila fan and I do like Adam (though no where as much as James). I was pleased that Sheila was considerably less annoying last night than usual and I'm going to sit with that. Small favors.

Got ya. Sheila has annoyed me so much that I could probably be fairly accused of being totally non-objective when it comes to my feelings for this woman.
To a certain degree I agree with your assessment of her being less annoying last night -- you consider her to have been "considerably" less annoying and I only found her to be "slightly" less annoying.
Even then, she destroyed what little good will I was feeling towards her by not allowing Natalie to make her statement about what she would do with lots of money without interrupting her and pointing out where Natalie was wrong and she (Sheila) was right (yet she gets so self-righteous when people interrupt her); by yet once again bringing up something from the past (Ryan's taking the $10,000) but constantly saying "that is in the past" and "that doesn't really bother me, that isn't the way I meant it when I was talking about it"????; when (while laying the bed together) Adam was not allowed to make his feelings and thoughts known without Sheila getting all snarky on his a$$; etc., etc., etc.
I really had not been a defender of James (or any particular HG, for that matter) from the beginning. However, his game play has made me into a huuuuuuuggggee supporter of this young kid.
His sense of irony and his slightly biting, sarcastic way of pointing out the obvious and the absurd has really hit a chord of respect within me.
Anybody who just dismisses James as no good, of no use, brainless, whatever, just because of his looks, imo, is really missing the brilliance, intelligence and, yes, MATURITY, of this young man. They might want to take a second look.
I also think the HGs are missing out on the appreciation of one of the best, most interesting HGs of any season of BB. Only upon reflection will they see the opportunity they missed out on.
I'm fairly sure that Natalie has completely lost her mind. She has to have, as anyone with their wits about them would not stomp their feet and lie about something (Hummergate) that was so obviously filmed on camera.
I'd LOVE to be a fly on the wall when she realizes that the entire nation knows she's "given oral pleasure" to Matty not once - not twice - but THREE TIMES, on camera.

I agree with your description and take on James. This is why no doubt he will get a second chance to play this game if there ever is an All Star 2. Can you imagine James and ED in the same house? Oh my. They will probably get along fine as long as egos don't crash into one another. ;-)
I really thought there was a possiblity of seeing Nat on the block today, considering how hard the boys have been working to bring her credibility into question (perhaps with a nudge from the DR)
I guess the guys are just prepping for next week. Oh well.
