BB9 TWIST Announced to House Guests!

The houseguests just came back from an exterior lockdown. They went inside, and we saw a glimpse of them reading a letter that says:
- "Houseguests, I have an important announcement. Sometime in the coming weeks you will hear a distinct sound over the speakers.
When you hear this sound, you must all gather at once in the living room and wait for instructions, and be aware, this could happen at any time...
Expect the unexpected! ~ BB."

Sharon: Somebody's comin' back. I know it.
Joshuah: Ya think?
Sharon: The noise is gonna go off, and somebody's gonna walk through that door. The same way we came in. That's how they're gonna prolong the season.
Josh: That sounds right.
Sharon: Holy F. They're gonna bring a pair back. That's gonna f up our whole gameplan. Right now we're all mapped out...
Josh: I think it's gonna be something crazy like run into the living room, and everyone has to do some crazy comp...
Chelsia enters.
Chelsia: Whatcha doin'?
Joshuah: Making a days till Allison leaves calendar...
Sharon: I really think people are coming back...
- ***We hope so!!
Sharon: That could mean anything.
Chelsia: I'm gonna f'in snap on Natalie. She's driving me nuts. She's like, "why don't you volunteer to go up on the block?" I'm never gonna f'in volunteer to go up on the block!
Sharon, Josh and Chelsia are speculating about when they think this will take place.
Joshuah: The worst case scenario is Allison stays another week.
This could happen at any moment. Expect the unexpected.

Has BB ever given a letter to the HGs in previous seasons? If so, was it regarding a twist?

goin' out on a limb here...when summoned to the living room there will be some kind of 'drawing of lots' and players who draw certain symbols will be told they have the Hudson River virus and must be quarantined. Before they go into quarantine though, they are allowed to select a 'new' partner from those who have been evicted or a 'mystery' player (who I think will be Janelle -- rumor/news early on that she would play a larger part in this season). Now, if they like their partner and want them to succeed they'll pick someone they are most likely to work well with, if they don't like their partner -- revenge time....yeah, I went out on a limb...can't wait to see what the REAL twist is gonna be! :P
I have been thinking about the "Till Death Do You Part" theme, and I was wondering if this will have anything to do with the
"Hudson River Virus" we have been hearing about. Maybe everyone gets the Hudson River Virus and "dies", then they split the couples up and they begin playing as singles? Just a thought...

I'd love it if that noise went off, they all met in the living room, were told to go to the backyard, and waiting for them were the evicted houseguests. Then, they all have an endurance comp, where the top 10 finishers stay in the house and the bottom 5 go home. The winner becomes HOH and they play as singles from there on out.
It'll never happen, but it would make a better game than America voting some dumb-ass back into the house who would be better suited for the Real World, than Big Brother.
ok, now i am convinced that america will be voting 1 if not more people back in (VOTE ALEX!!!!!) and that julie will announce this on tuesday right after the couple gets evicted & they sit down with her. then they will hear the noise and america's picks will come back in and they will start playing the game as individuals!!

I wonder if the pair or person that fails to go to the living room or the last pair that gets to the living room is evicted or nominated or something? And maybe like the first get Hoh? Hmmm...
I'm thinking BB9 is going to be shorter than a regular season. Whether they bring evicted folks back or not I just have that feeling in my gut.
Though, CBS could also time it so that they bring back their sitcoms and series towards the time American Idol finals.... Maybe even line it up so that BB and Survivor end around the same time which would be in early May.
omg... can you imagine alex & janelle?? make-out central!!! and they'd have cute kids too. not to mention that she'd help his gameplay!! i want him back in like CRAZY but he needs some gameplay assistance and she's definitely the go-to-girl :-)

I don't think they can cut the season short because they have a contract with Showtime to have 3 months worth of After Dark.
Now for my opinion as to what is going on...
I would honestly be surprised if they were NOT split up to play as individuals. As for Janelle coming back to actually PLAY, I do not see that being a possibility but a gay boy can dream cant he? *SIGH*
In one of the European Big Brother Seasons they had a secret annex to the house and houseguests got voted back and forth between the real house and the annex and the season actually went on to be the longest BB for whatever country it was (I think it was England) to almost 90 days. While something to this effect could be going on here, I feel like we would be watching the other houseguests in the annex... so who knows!
Only time will tell.

On the CBS site there is a sweepstake where they offer tickets for the Finale... it is tentatively set for April 29.
That's a full season.
I guess that after next week's HoH comp and before the POV comp... we, the viewers, get to vote a couple of people back in. It will be announced Wed... time to Vote and by Friday... VOILA!!! That will bring addtl. revenue to CBS and make viewers happy.
I like Sharon because she really does seem to know the game better than the other HG's... it's respectable compared to some of the other shenanigans in the house!
Ohhhhh very excited! I can't wait to see how all this goes down. It's gonna be some random moment at the BB House. Most likely, that will be what they talk about on Wednesday. Here's hoping Alex comes back!!
Oh and Carolyn, I hope you got enough snacks for the next few weeks cause I know you won't be able to get away from the feeds with this new revelation!! Thanx again!

PS- I did like the idea that there would be one big competition and the top 10 or 11 stay in the house however I dont think that would happen because i doubt BB would potentially eliminate people from the house who were not evicted via the voting method. Great idea though!

Remember all the nifty, intricate theories we had when the little person came to the BB8 and start spouting all of these weird sayings? Well, it all turned out to be tidbits for challenge nothing extraordinary. I really hope that that doesn't repeat itself. That this is actually something really friggin cool.
@ Stephen: That is a strong point about Showtime. But it's still all contingent on CBS. If CBS pulls the plug than it'll just tell Grodner Productions and Showtime: "ShooTOO baaad, I got some Two and Half Men to air." This season was born out of necessity and now the necessity is to produce those shows and get 'em back up and running. But again, who knows. This is all conjecture on my part. But thanks for replying. I love it when the comments are actually dialogues...
I think since Julie Chen mentioned the twist at the end of the last show--it will happen sometime between now and the show tomorrow.

I think Chenbot said the twist would be ANNOUNCED but not necessarily that it would happen to the houseguests by then. Kind of like on double eviction weeks in the past... sometimes they tell us a week before it happens but the houseguests do not know until the second it happens. I wouldnt be surprised if the twist didnt happen until the next pair is evicted.
Ohhhhh and I think the coup d'etat should be a permanent fixture in future BB seasons... it was SUCCCCHHH a good twist! Only one per season though!

I think they are going to let an old houseguest/couple back in the house. Remember when Sharon was brought back? Julie said she had been in sequester. Why would they sequester the first couple voted out? They only do that to the jury.
@Stephen: I agree about the Coup. But Boogie didn't even get to use it. I think that it should be inserted at a crucial moment.

Sharon was sequestered because she hadn't been elim'd yet on the actual show. She can't very well be trolling around her hometown when the first episode hadn't even aired yet.
Aside from that, perhaps they'd been planning on sequestering the first X number of couples until the twist.
Here’s what I think is the Jericho twist…If you watch Jericho there are two towns that were fighting…New Bern and Jericho. Communication being restored…blah blah those hints.
I think there are TWO bb9 houses…one that has the evicted houseguests and one with the others. The evicted houseguest have been able to see via the feeds whats been going on in the house.
So next week…ALL the houseguest will return to play individually! Communication restored. Hudson Virus couples killed.

I HOPE you ARE on to something, because that does sound very feasible.
I think there may be something to the idea that "Neil left because he had 'Hudson River Virus' and the reason everyone had to be sequestered and the HG quarentined in the HOH is because they had to disinfect the place. In fact based on the tests that is what caused all the "illnesses" people had. They are going to tell them the house has been locked down and they will have to stay there until a vaccine/cure can be found. CBS will not let them leave. But to keep thing looking good for the public they will continue to play the game and go into the sequester as they are evicted. I think everyone will be asked in the diary room "since they may not make it through this alive do they want to stay with their current partner or have an evicted partner". If they say an evicted partner, they will be asked to act ill with HRV symtoms and leave the show. But allowed to return with a new partner - since "death did them part". If they say keep the partner they have, they will become a "power couple." It's fun to imagine what they will do.

Yep, that was our BB7 (2006). One of the housemates was evicted, but instead of facing the live crowd and being interviewed by Davina like usual, she went into a house next door. They then added 5 TOTALLY NEW housemates into the mix. She then evicted them one by one, but those housemates went into the main house. In the end, all of them except one went into the main house.
WOW!! Thats all i can say....I don't have the live feeds,but do rem Julie saying a huge twist was comming next week. And it makes sence with the Hudson river virus,and the Till Death we part,that the house guests will start playing alone. It'll be fun to watch. Maybe Janelle,Dick, Kaysar, and some others will be comming in to play too. Would be cool if Parker,Adam, and Neil came back to. I mean ,its only fair to Josh if neil comes back,so he can get in on the biggest sex party televised. Unless he's tapping Chelsia from behind already!! She's asked..and he started turning somewhat str8!! Man..Can't wait to see the twist now!!!
