I'm just sitting here, minding my own business, putting together a bunch of endurance comp research for a post (it's very good news, by the way), when what do I hear but the Bro-lliance cooking up a plan to nominate James instead of Joshuah.
They're calling the plan Operation Tightie, in honor of James' Tightie Whities...
This is ongoing. Is anyone else's head spinning about now?
This whole thing actually started about a half an hour ago outside in the back yard when Ryan said James was who he really wanted out, and the boys are up in HoH now solidifying the plan...

Shiela made the RIGHT move.
However, Ryanis making the WRONG move. What Ryan needs to do is nominate Matt. He is TAKING A RISK, but he will still have Adam/Shiela/Natalie on HIS SIDE to get out Josh/Sharon/James/Chelsia. They won't NOMINATE him... and all he has to do is wiat till one of the four if Matt i gone to nominate them! Then he could JOIN THEM as they would need a replacement. He owuld literally be safe on ALL SIDES as there are BIGGER THREATS.
Shiela is playing smart, but at the same time, Ryan is NOT. Shiela also needs to realize she could have EASILY pulled Adam in with Josh/Sharon/James/Chelsia.
If Josh or Sharon leave this week, so will I. But, I bet if Josh leaves or Sharon, you MARK MY WORDS, Chelsia will win the ENDURANCE COMPETITION on Wednesday, and all hell will break loose, and they can probably pull Alex to their side! They would nominate Adam/Ryan, making a deal with Matt, but if they have the chance, BACKDOOR him.
Ryan should SERIOUSLY think this through and realize he needs to talk to Adam and Shiela and nominate Matt. Ryan would be safe, so what, the others won't, but Ryan would be safe from EVERYONE as everyone else would be so focused on SOMEONE ELSE rather then him!

PS: This about it, what does Ryan get? The fifth wheel. the longer Shiela/Natalie are IN THE GAME, the mroe likely Matt is to keep Nat because Nat will save him no matter what, Shiela and Adam stick together, Shiela/Natalie get together... Ryan has NO WAY to win this way. His best bet is to take a RISK and even the game to 4 vs 4.
What the heck is going on?? They can't make their minds up!! I wish they would stick to the original plan and get Matt out! He's a player! It would also make Natalie sad and weak. And there is nothing I'd like more.. I can't stand her.
This is so annoying. Im going to seriously be laughing my ass off when Alex walks in the house!! Ryan will be done. Although I hope Alex is a bit smarter the second time around and not join their alliance or he will be booted again!!
It's so good that we finally have a game to watch!! Hopefully CBS realized the couples thing was wack and we never see it again. BUT, knowing CBS, this summer will be All-Star couples from past seasons... YUK!

It's been said time after time that Matty has Matty's back and his alone. Anyone who trusts him is going to get burned in the long run.
That being said, I like the fact that Sheila is at least trying to make a move now and stepping out of the shadows.
Ryan is way to easily manipulated though, he needs to play his cards closer to his chest instead of spewing out every little scenario in his head, he's HOH for goodness sake, start acting like it!!

As much as I would LOVE to see either Josh or, better yet, James out....anon @ 2115 makes a good point. All of these operations will make Carolyn go crazy and we'll have to drop a few bucks in her tip jar.
Which reminds me - I found you guys last season and I have no idea how I made it thru all of the years without you. The recaps are amazing. I don't have the live feeds so I check you in the morning and from the time i get home from work on to bedtime. I think it's time i finally sent you a monetary thank you! You guys are the best.

Carolyn- Thanks for pulling the hooker comment. Hopefully people will cut out the blatant personal attacks. Alot of people need to enjoy this as a game, and not be so cruel towards the HGs. Blast them for bad stratagy, not how you view them personally. IMO, "white trash" and "hooker" terms are just as bad as the N-word or F-word (which wouldn't be allowed).
I really like James, but that would be a smart move... Anyone who stabs people in the front is dangerous in this game!
I think this is all very funny, I mean come on make up your minds! But this is what makes the game good! Keep us on our toes........
Now as for saying that Ryan is *safe* with J/J/C/S is kinda a crap shoot.....HELLO when is your word really good in BB??????

There really aren't enough doors in this house to back people out of. James and Josh are both smashing options. While I find Joshuah more offensive, I find James more annoying. Both are needlessly cocksur, arrogant and angry guys, but Josh has DRAMA. Is there still time to vote Allison back in?
It would be nice if Chelsia got a heads up that by taking herself off, she loses James. Make her cry and stress. Let the karmic retribution begin for Noosia.

Get rid of the strongest person...the one who has a jury house full of friends, is manipulative as all hell, is physically stronger than the others, has a ’til death partner still in the house, is aligned/indebted to no one...it isn’t rocket science…Matty really needs to go.

Hey Carolyn- what week do they normally do double evictions? Is it done every season? It would shake things up for sure. Either one side would get a big advantage or it would just be tit for tat.
I love James. Why is everyone a James hater. I think he is so sweet and he has been pretty honest with everyone as to why he did or does what he does. james really does make this show and if he went it would be bad for ratings.. Ryan don't be an ass and just stick with getting rid of Matt. Maybe he is just playing everyone. Could Ryan be that smart?

All I can do is shake my head. Ryan is rapidly losing my respect--almost as rapidly as he burns through those Parliaments, which is saying a lot. I didn't like the Joshua idea, but at least they'd be taking out a really strong player if Josh went. But James???? Once James runs out of small-town midwesterners who get all misty eyed at the thought of singing Kumbaya at a Woodstock reenactment, he will also run out of strong supporters.
Current Summary:
Sheila: Gutsy, emotional. Swiftness in not her primary asset.
Natalie: Just pitiful. But not deserving of pity.
James: More potential to be a lightweight than to use his strengths.
Ryan: More spineless by the minute. Jen might as well be back so she can tighten the screws a little more. Needs to stop talking and start thinking for himself.
Adam: Wow. He's actually playing.
Matt: One of the best uses for a pool cue I've ever seen. And I'm not even talking about billiards.

Meredith - FoTH means front of the house, which is what they showed when feeds cut away during season one.
Later it changed to Fish... then Flames, then last year was the Papa Smurf Colonoscopy... and now we're back to flames... but FoTH has always stuck :)

And strangely, I appreciate the the forum rules, even though I found them odd at first. Because after all, the live feed clips are often about as crude and profane and abusive as it gets--in some ways, BB is about a group of people racing to the lowest common denominator of all of the above. Nevertheless, it's nice to have that toned down a bit in the posts and comments.

Well. Things have slowed down here. I didn't want to hog the board, but since it's quiet, just one more post for now:
I totally understand how it could get very wearying, Carolyn. Plus the rules seem to encourage civil exchange between posters, which seems hard to come by on the Internet. Again,I thank you for your time and effort. And genuinely, if I wasn't a grad student living on $12K/year, I'd do more than say thanks.
So has Ryan run through every potential target and come back around to Josh yet?

Not sure if anything is concrete with Ryan. All I have seen him do is agree with EVERYONE's plans and who really knows what he is thinking. As I have watched Ryan this season, I do notice he goes against no one really. He just follows along with whatever anyone is saying to him at the time. I think we really don't know how he will nominate. Just my observation. Personally, I think Matt is the biggest threat to anyone in the house. I hope Ryan sees that the first plan to get rid of Matt is his best assurance of sticking around for a while. We shall see.
Oh on a personal note, Thank God the couples twist is done with!! The game is so much better played when its every man for him/herself! Me likey more now! :)

Finally, someone is thinking in there, James is the leader of the nerd herd and by cutting him out, they smash that alliance. Of course you cant trust Matt. But he is physically strong and could provide a sheild in that everyone would be gunning for him instead of Ryan.

This is a smart play by Ryan period. Getting Matty out made zero sense.
Now Matty on the other hand, he is really good at this game. I think he's making it to the final 3, the question will be, can he get enough votes against Adam, cause that's my final two. I don't think he can.

I have been REALLY disappointed with Ryan's game play during his stint at HOH...he might have been one of the few players left in the game I wouldn't have mind seeing win this thing. Now I see he's pretty weak minded and being completely manipulated by Matt. We still have a few more days til veto ceremony, maybe he can put a few more names out there that he's going to put up! Ugggghhhhhh...
I wish he could see that Matt is strategically the best pick for this week, let the rest of the group pick off each other while the target is off his back and it gives him at least 2 more weeks.
He doesn't appear to be considering what's in his OWN best interest.
i am not a fan of james and chelsia so i would rather see james go. i have liked ryan and josh, hoping they would be in the final 2 after they started playing as singles. i am not happy with ryan right now, though. he is too fickle and he doesn't know who he wants gone. i would much rather he nominate james and get him out if it means josh gets to stay!! i do however think the plan to get rid of matt was the best choice. matt would screw ryan over if he needed to. no doubt about that. matt can't be trusted!! hopefully, ryan is just going along with whatever they tell him and in the end he will still back-door matty. i know that probably isn't what's going to happen, but i am hoping he isn't this stupid!! if he doesn't put matt up, i will be hoping ryan and matt are on the block next week and matt goes.
This season is just total chaos. I hope next season the ppl in charge of casting worry less about what the HGs look like and more about whether or not they know how to play the game shhheeeeaassshhhh already.
I think James is far from a nerd - or any nerd herd - the year the nerd herd was on that was definately nerds - and so not James.
You know, you can name any one houseguest, past or present, and find several hundred viewers that absolutely "hate" them and the same number that "love" them. What are we basing our emotions about these people on? Just one answer: their game play. And the truth is, how they are in this game is not necessarily how they are in real life. If you ever watch Housecalls, you will hear all the past HG's that are co-hosting explaining no, you are not YOURSELF, you are playing a game and if you have any brains at all, you know that the only person you can truly trust is yourself. That's why last season was so unfair, Daniele and Dick had two people they could trust besides themselves, each other, and that may have been the first time in BB history that was the case. And duh, look who won! It's plain and simple. Any HG that truly believes that they can trust anybody besides themselves is screwed and any HG that is completely aware that they only need to say or do whatever it takes to look out for number one, is golden. Matt truly knows this, and I suspect James does too. Most of them are losing sight of the look out for number one theory and don't even realize it.
Oy! I had really hoped they'd get out Matty - he's a true P-I-G pig! Especially b/c it would be so bitter sweet to see Matty leave as Alex returns. lol
I took a nap and woke up to see my personal fav for the season all of a sudden in the hot seat! No not Joshie!!!
Then all of a sudden it switches to James. I slept peacefully last night needless to say.
We'll see who's who and what's what tomorrow night. As usual a lot can happen and expect the unexpected.

I just have to say that I thought Ryan had more sense than to get rid of James. James is a lot less of a threat during competitions than Matt. Yeah, he will plot and scheme, but during challenges, Matt is the bigger threat. I hope the girls that are with Ryan, Matt, and Adam realize that as soon as those boys get what they want from them (power), they will be the next ones to leave. I say if Ryan nominates James, the girls should use their brains for once and flip to the other side, and go hard core after those boys.
Ryan is an idiot. Matt is playing him. That's pretty much all I can say. If he's dumb enough to believe it, then I guess he deserves to get played. The way I look at it is this. I would rather keep somebody who "stabs me in the front" in the game, because then I know what's going on and I know what I have to do. With Matt, you're just walking through, having a good time, and next thing you know, you're under the bus wondering how the hell you got there.

A lot of you guys seem to want Alex to come back why? We already have Josh. I don't know what they're thinking but James and Chelsia have to go imo.
ugh, i will not be able to stand this show if they backdoor James. Funny that all these "macho" guys are scared of James. Ryan will be the biggest idiot if he backdoors James instead of Matt. Are ABall and Ryan this big of idiots?? James was the one that called out Matt for trying to play both sides! Hope it doesn't happen, but if it does, Ryan better watch out!
