Overnight Report
Good Morning, Big Brother Lovers! The Overnight Report covering the Big Brother 9 House on Sunday Night, February 24th through the wee hours of Monday, February 25th is complete.
After the strip-show and pool/jacuzzi make-out, the HGs calmed down a bit and got back to business.
Amanda cracked me up. A few minutes after everyone came back inside, she started talking about all the horrible diseases you can get... I think her mission was to deflate all the men in the house, especially Alex, who was in Sharon's bedroom when Amanda started this line of talk... and I think she succeeded in that aspect of her mission, but at what cost?
James put it best when he said, "How did making out fun time go to scary STD talk??"

And indeed, Amanda's little lecture may very well backfire on her. Josh is really annoyed by her again.
Joshuah: I kinda want to evict her.
James: Sleep on it.
Joshuah: I'm completely torn. I had so much fun with Natalie.
Further along the same lines... Matt stayed up late campaigning to James and Adam. He's using everything he can to try and stay.
In this first clip, he's testing the waters, trying to get info... and laying the groundwork - telling James how wealthy both Alex and Amanda are.

This conversation goes on quite a long time... The next clip is from over an hour later. Matt's doing his best to seal Alex and Amanda's coffin. They all laugh at how adherent to rules Alex is. He will not do anything wrong. They also talk about how Alex still lives with his mother, and grandma's downstairs.
Matt: I know Alex is the owner of his deejay company. I know for a fact his father left him money... Alex said he'd give me a job if I come out to NY.
James is very surprised by this info, since Alex made a point of telling everyone he worked for the company...

In this clip, he again reminds Adam and James that Alex owns his business, and is not an employee as he has lead the rest of them to believe. And about Amanda, "Don't you think it's peculiar now that Jen's gone, she's suddenly buddy-buddy with every girl in the house?"
James counsels Matt on how to proceed.

By 4am, Matt tells James, "You've gotta talk to your girl, and get her to talk to Allison." James is concerned he may be backdoored next week.

So much for Matt not campaigning against Alex. At least Alex kept his word. I always knew Matt is a backstabber. He did backstab Parker.

Good morning!!! :) Two things....
1. Last night was a little too nasty for me! It was like a bad car accident...you really don't want to look, but you just can't help it.
2. I'm ready for Matt & Natalie to go! I really hope that they are the couple voted out this week. She needs to face reality....Matt does not like you, so quit running around talking about him and his soft kisses!

This is interesting, considering that she didn't have an issue with STDs when she was jumping from Alex to Parker and from Parker to Alex.
What a shame! That’s the thing about Amanda…she doesn’t have a good sense how others react to her. I didn’t see the exchange, but I’m sure she put her foot in her mouth again. No one wants to feel bad about having just done something they greatly enjoyed. I had such a gut feeling that she was going to say something that would tick someone off and wind up going home. Her fate was sealed a while back though…the whole house was against her…that is something that is nearly impossible to shake off in this game…and though she was beginning to get back to a good place in the past few days, it only took one conversation to put her back to square one. I like her…and all of her silly flaws…it’s just a shame that most of it interfered with her ability to play the game.
On the other hand, Josh would be a fool to keep Matt and Natalie. They are a stronger force to go up against and they are much more liked in the house. If they make it to the end they’ll be tough to beat, vote wise. Just because he had a blast with Nat doesn’t mean he should keep her. I’ll be sad to see Alex and Amanda go…but if Matt and Nat stay and are successful at winning HOH, forcing the other side’s plans into ruins, I’ll be happy.
Alex and Amanda still have a chance…hopefully this new spark between Sharon and Alex will help mend the tear between Joshie and Amanda. There is also always the chance that Matt and Nat will take their campaigning too far…or even the possibility that Sheila will side with Allison and Amanda and persuade Adam to switch his vote. Lets just cross our fingers and hope that Amanda doesn’t say too much of anything for the next few days…

A.) Like the idea of the secret Josh/Amanda alliance. Mostly because it keeps Alex around.
B.) Am soooo bummed that we missed out on the supersexyhot Adam/Ryan action!!! No! Wait! That's part of the conspiracy!
Neil's in the other house, steaming about how Adam, his ex, has been hooking up with the newly single Ryan in the DR. (Since the producers have been streaming the feeds to the secret celebrity house where he, Twiggy and the rest are holed up until Wednesday!)
Did I miss something or is Cliff's post not fully true? Since when is Ryan single? And him and Adam hookin up???? Also, I thought Neil went home a while ago. If he was pulled outta the house that long ago for a family emergency why would he still be in sequester?!?!!? Someone please clarify

I want Matt/Nat & Alex/Amanda to stay!!! Ughhh everyone else is just boring or weird!!! I wish the veto was used!
Oh and can someone please tell Nat that Matt isn't into her!! She is making such an ass of herself!!! I like the girl but feel bad for her with her actions! Also, I hate the fact that everyone was saying how bad Matt was treating Nat.... uh does anyone see how crazy she is around him?!
I don't think that Amanda was trying to "inform" the HGs about STDs, I think that she was jealous.
They have been kissing and touching all over each other since they first entered the house, so why did she wait until now to say something? If she was concerned about STDs, she would have said something when they were kissing each other during the dancing and when the girsl were sitting on the guys faces. So why wait until the pool incident, if she is so concerned?
Sharon is a threat because there is the possibility that Alex may have feelings for her. Up until now has he ever been like this with anyone else in the house? I don't think that he was trying to make Amanda jealous. I always thought that there was something between these two and that they were just waiting for the "right" opportunity. Nothing may come of this who knows.
I think that Amanda likes Alex, but I do not understand why she plays those "cat and mouse" games with him. I am starting to believe that maybe she has a boyfriend on the outside. At one point Alex liked Amanda, but how long do you expect him to wait? The Parker/Amanda thing was akward-he is paired with a girl who does not want to be with him in public, but who insists on touching him/putting her hair in his face/her butt on him when no one is around. And to make matters worse she then tells lies about their private moments to make him look bad in the eyes of the HGs. Go figure!!!
The next time Amanda talks about how much she likes oral sex, someone should give her the STD lecture.
*sigh* I really hope Matt/Nat go this week! I've been tired of the two of them since week 1!
While I am glad this group comes up with something more interesting than beer pong, last night was just a tad over the top for me! Had it been short-lived, sure, I could have tolerated it, but it just went on and on and on....and then moved out to the pool and hot tub! It had long ago passed the point of being entertaining and moved into the land of Sordid!
Get horny Nat and Matt out of the house and then Nat will finally have her chance to get to know Matt -- because the only other girl to talk to in sequester is Jen! LOL
That'll teach him! ;P
The only other couple I want out of the house more right now is Adam and Sheila! More Sheila than Adam, but they definitely gotta go. Adam isn't all the weird, he just lacks 'spark'. Can we say "Boring"? Sheila is a know-it-all, self-centered hag and nag and I am so sick of listening to her!
Then I hope they mix the couples up -- put Alex with Sharon, Chelsia with Amanda, James with Joshuah amd keep Allison and Ryan together. LOL
I don't understand how any viewer or houseguest could support Amanda.
Her superiority complex is only matched by the level of her vile personality.
I hope she goes this week.

I just have to set the record straight -- for MATT! Just because someone (Amanda) owns a house does not mean they are "rich" or don't need the money. I used to own a house, but now we're in foreclosure.
I guess it's too easy for Matt, James, and Adam to assume people have money just because of what material things the own. (i.e. cars, homes, etc)

In the second clip 2:38 a.m. at about 6:12 into the clip Matt makes a statement about Alex being the owner of the deejay company, "that he knows Alex and he's known him" but then he says that he "met" him. Could it be possible that they did know each other before and he was trying to recover or was it just a slip of the tongue?
Alex was estranged from his Dad until he reached High school.So why does Matt think his Mom came into all this money?
