Joshuah's up and doing his morning routine of weighing himself, dancing around the scale in hopes the number will magically go down, showering and enjoying some alone time to think... Incidentally, he mentioned yesterday that he'd lost 8 pounds since entering the BB house. I would've guessed higher.

Sheila just woke up. She's in the bathroom, about to have a shower. Josh is outside having breakfast on a chaise.

Alex has joined the living. He's in the bathroom.
Alex: (chipper) Good Morning. Did you sleep good?
Sheila: Off and on... Could you make some coffee?
Alex: Sure. What time is it?
Sheila: Umm.. about 10.
Alex brushes his teeth.
Sheila: I need you to quote something for me... What did they say when we first came into this house?
Alex: They said we would vote as couples, be nominated as couples and evicted as couples.
Sheila: I just figured out something. No one said you had to stay with your couple.
Alex: Well, it's just at night. You can do whatever you want during the day...
Sheila: My point is they never said you had to remain with your couple... I was just thinking about something when you guys were all making out with each other.
Alex: It was just fun.
Sheila: Oh, I know. I'm just glad I wasn't in it. My son'll be happy.
Alex: Ok.. Josh is already out there...

Alex joins Joshuah outside and sets up a blanket next to his chaise on the grass.
Sheila (i think) is painting a sign with nail polish.

Feeds cut to Flames for a minute.

Backyard
Alex and Joshuah are discussing Natalie.
Joshuah: She belongs in the 70s.. with all the free love and pot and stuff.
Alex: She's just too innocent.
Amanda's up. She speaks briefly to the boys and goes to wake Allison, per her request. First she wakes Sharon, softly, telling her it's really nice outside.
The women are all still in the forced bikini situation.

Sheila's joined the sunbathers. Amanda comes outside, bringing a bowl of slop with her. Sharon goes to the Storage Room for new batteries.
Allison's up now too, getting lathered up to go join in outside.
But first, Allison confers quickly with Sharon about the voting. I believe Sharon is still guiding towards voting out Matt and Natalie.
Sharon: That would probably be the smartest choice...
Allison: At this point.
Sharon: MmHmm.
Allison: I agree.
Sharon: Cuz that's easier to do down the road, ya know, thing to do down the road.. especially with slop and everything else. It'll be easier to win sh*t.
Allison: I'll meet you out there.

James & Chelsia are still asleep up in HoH.
Adam? No clue.
Joshuah, Sheila, Alex, Amanda, Allison and Sharon are all outside peacefully soaking up the California sun.
Perve cam is focusing on Joshuah for the moment.
Seems we have new pervs in the control booth. Typically, the tight shots are always on the women... Not so much this year.
Ryan's up now, and joining the backyard crew.

BB: Good Morning, Houseguests. It's time to get up for the day.
Sharon and Josh are in a serious whisper-fest... about the plan. It's very hard to hear, but the gist is they both trust Amanda.. more than they trust Allison.
For now, it sounds like Amanda's STD talk will not sink her and Alex.
If they win HoH, they think they'll put up Amanda and Alex, alongside Sheila and Adam, then backdoor someone else... possibly Allison/Ryan.

Adam has risen from the dead. Natalie and Matt too.
Natalie says she doesn't have too many memories of last night.
Sheila: Well, lemme just put it to you this way - Your parents are mortified.
Natalie: Nah.. they know what I used to do.
Joshuah tells her she was fine and that she'll come out of this whole thing a superstar.
Everyone's really happy to have a sunny day.

They're all gathered together now, talking about how hard Chelsia slapped Ryan during the strip show last night. They think the HGs last year were boring, except Dick and Jen, and they're sure they are far more interesting and killing in the ratings.
Alex says he and Natalie should do a talk show later, and invite Chelsia, aka Mike Tyson. They joking around saying Chelsia will have freaky fans wanting her to slap them.

Random chatter about golfing. Alex, Allison, Amanda, Matt and Ryan are all golfers. Ryan's a par 8. Matt & Allison actually golf at the same clubs.

very interesting what Sheila said! Wouldn't it be crazy if they all got together and decided to switch partners and form NEW couples?
ok so here's my take on last night. i previously said the TMZ indicated that James confessed his porn participation to the other houseguests but after his conversation last night, i dont know if that's true or not now. Anyway, who else thinks Chelsia is a little too violent?? her slapping Nat's behind, Ryan's crotch and James in the face was too much. I couldn't care less about what they show and who they do. they signed up to be on TV and CBS cast them for a reason and we are beginning to see why each of them were cast now. I am not going to say i LOVED the showtime BBAD last night but i didn't hate it! lol! not sure who said it but it sure beats the hell out of beer pong and Eric dressing up as a woman! oh and how dare sheila say that nat's parents are mortified! what a pot calling the kettle black! then again, she must speak from experience....
I was just thinking last night.. I checked, i don't know if it means anything or something.. but as of last night neither Jen or Parkers Myspaces have been logged into.
Last night was "great television," in the words of James. If you're interested in a bunch of 20-somethings locked in a house for 3 months, you're something of a voyeur, so the morality card is getting old.
Anyway...
No more P in the PB, Parker, what is your crappy alliance going to avenge now? Seriously, they are the worst alliance ever, not because they wouldn't have made a good team, but because they couldn't hold it together.
On a different note...
Question for y'all - did Jen actually call Ryan a racist, or did CBS just edit it to look like that for TV? You can't see her face, and I thought I heard "has race issues" the first time she said it to Sheila, but after reading all the reports accusing her of saying what CBS conveniently has written as she's talking, I'm starting to wonder.

I looked at the whole pool party again from the start and, damn if I can't see where James kissed Joshuah. I did hear the guys referring to him having kissed another guy during the free-for-all.
Pshaw.
But if Alex didn't totally rotate my crops before, he sure does now.
I suppose I have always harbored a little resentment over being too young for the free-love-and-disco '70s.
Maybe it's just a penchant for the combined smell of sweat and polyester.

Yay! So happy everyone is still on the "let's keep Alex and Amanda" plan! I hope nothing else goes sour...

I was in high school and college in the "free-love-and-disco-70's." It's funny what an oxymoron the 70's are to me as I think back on them. On the one hand, they were fun times. We had just come out of the 60's and we were SICK of being sad and depressed from constant talk of the Vietnam War. We just wanted to laugh and have fun. And we did. BUT... It wasn't all good. I know more people that went through very sad situations because they had to face consequences for their actions. Free love IS NOT free! And the 70's had an over-abundance of people paying for what was 'free'. That said, I think last night was a mix of going too far, but not. By that, I mean that I think the 'stripper' session went too far. But I didn't see anything wrong with the 'kids' in the pool having fun 'swapping spit' because it did not lead to anything more. It was what it was. Fun is just that when it keeps within certain boundaries - which is what the 'kiss fest' did.
Here is where I must admit, though, that I would have been one of the girls in the house. I would not have been comfortable participating even though it didn't seem to have gone too far. That's just me...
BTW... Polyester gets made fun of all the time, but it sure did make laundry easy. NO ironing needed! ;)
Cliff, I didn't see the James/Josh kiss either... but sho2 also went to commercial during the natalie/chelsia kiss, had I not watched the bb9dish video prior, I wouldn't have known it existed.
Funny I watched everything on this blog before I realized that all happened during BBAD which was on the dvr..LOL
Seffie, I agree that the stripper part went on far too long and went far too far and so by the time the pool party rolled around I was just sick of it all! The entire time the strip party went on I really only listened because I didn't really want to see all that! I kept hoping it would end soon, but it just went on and on and on. Then my 'reward' for sticking it out was 'spit swapping' in the pool! UGH! It was just too much. If the stripper party had not gotten so raunchy, perhaps I wouldn't have felt the 3 hours I spent with BBAD wasn't such a waste of time!

Yeah. Not to say that I didn't make up for lost time in the '80s ... and, honestly, if I had been even three years older I wouldn't be alive today to talk about it ...
But when I hear about all the naughtiness in the balconies at Studio 54, I kinda wish I had a time machine for one day.
Even if polyester made people smell funny!

Funny you should mention the 'Just Say No' campaign from the 80's. My first two daughters started school in the mid 80's. When my oldest was in kindergarten, she came flying off the bus one day with a construction paper headband that she hadherself.
It read: "Just Say Mo".
We still have it packed away somewhere and still have a chuckle every time we remember...

I mostly watched the three girls in the house more than the kissing fest. They were a scream to listen to as they commentated on who was kissing who in the 'current' round. I could just see myself being with them and gawking and laughing at the whole thing, too. I enjoyed watching their reaction to the whole thing as they watched through the kitchen window about more than anything else so far this season. Funny stuff!
Seffie, wish I could get the feeds, I tried, but it wouldn't work with my satellite broadband -- so I'm at the mercy of BBAD and they barely showed the girls inside. I probably would have enjoyed that more, too.

At one point, one of the 'pool people (can't remember who) came in to find out where they were. They all ran like little kids getting away from the bad guys! Sheila and Amanda hid in the bathroom and Allison ran upstairs and hid behind the couch up there. Like they weren't going to be found... LOL! It was hilarious! They went to the bathroom door and Sheila and Amanda were holding on as if their very lives depended on it! It was SOO funny! THAT'S what I personally found funny and entertaining. Call me boring! LOL!
