I just found out Adam has been unofficially let got from his job for what he said day one in the house... and the poor guy has no idea that when he gets out he has no job. :( i feel bad! That sucks!

I don't know that anyone's got any real record for so many times in a row, since power shifts so much from week to week. If anything, it'd probably be held by James or Janelle and be for a two or three week period.
That's just my guess with no info/source to back it up.
I think Will (BB2) probably has been nom'd the most times in a row, and never won jack. He just worked himself out of an eviction each time.

I really feel like I fit that middle category on the Quickie Poll about changing who I root for from week to week. I don't mean to be fickle, but I can honestly see both sides! I like everyone for different reasons. And, this is the main reason that I would never survive in the BB house!
Well, Sheila may be an exception. I wouldn't mind seeing her leave the house. AT ALL. I'm sure she's a good person in the real world and an excellent mother, but I really think that she would have been better in another season... I'll leave it at that!
Adam used to seem so crass and used to disgust me, but he has really won be over as a sweetheart. After seeing his family, and his interaction with Julie, and his "buddy" moment with Josh. Love him. He's a boy. Scratch your balls. Whatever.
Ryan and Sharon are the most "normal" but in reality TV, that means "boring" to most people. They are people I would probably know in real life. Not sure what that says about me! (lol) They are occasionally "one-dimensional" as others have put it, but why not win one for the normal peeps out there?! And, I am glad that Ryan got to play without Jen there....
Joshuah should be a freakin' politician like in last week's HOH. I do not agree with the things he has done or said, but he wins me over time & again. He is so utterly charming. I would follow him into a battle, no doubt. Longhorn, or not! I want him to stay for pure entertainment value. He is a Christian NOT on "Team Christ" which I actually respect! (Hey, so is Sharon! How did that other group get their dumb name anyway?)
I have said it before, and I'll say it again, I have a soft spot in my heart for Natalie. Yes, she repeats herself and it gets annoying. However, most of the people in the house seem to really like her. She seems so insecure, and like I've said before, she needs a good big sister or mentor. Kail, in Oregon, where are you?! I know I may be one of the only Nat fans out there....
And James, little James. (Well, you know what I mean! lol!) I also do not agree with everything he's done (ie: going back on his word to Natalie) but there are so many wonderful moments that out-weigh that one "sin" that everyone is condemning him for! His care and calm for Amanda. His care for Chelsia. His funny rant when he was on the block vs. Sharon. His speeches. His openness. His desires.

I watch the feeds as often as I can and try to listen to more than one conversation at a time but if there is anyone out there who caught a crucial piece of information-PLEASE HELP. Is Sharon really going to turn her back on James and is she really going to throw the HOH comp? Originally, when James won POV and Josh was put on the block, she said she was going to win HOH and put Adam and Natalie on the block. But things have flipped so many times since then I have no idea what's going on anymore. I would be happy with Nat and Adam. I would be elated with Adam and Ryan. But I would be ecstatic just to know where Sharon stands at this point. Sidenote:As I type this, I am sensing a little penis envy. Adam and Ryan seem to be obsessed with James 9 inches. The green eyed monster never looked as lovely as it does on these two guys.

Yes, I am American by birth, Texan by the Grace of God, and a Born-Agan Cajun 'cuz it's so much fun being one. I renounced my Texasship to move here 16 years ago. I agree about Texas, even though I had to spend what seemed like an eternity in Dallas (aka Hell) for 22 months after Katrina.

I'll never sit through another one and then be evacuated 3 days later, but we didn't have it as bad as so many others. We got out alive, and to safety fairly quickly. I still have issues and probably always will. I cringe every time I hear there is a 'wave' out there, and panic when I hear it's in the Gulf.

After Andrew destroyed half of south Florida in 1992, it destroyed half of my parents' house on the coast here in LA. And I probably don't even need to say that I spent weeks volunteering during the day and then crying into my pillow half the night after Katrina. Let's all PLEASE have a safe year!

However you do it (I did it by deciding to stop eating out and instead paying extra to have my electricity produced at a pilot plant that burns rice hulls and bagasse (sugar cane remnants), no named storms is something worth praying for.
Curiously, no facet of BB has ever once entered my prayers. Not even a prayer for James to win HoH and punish the evil ones. But then, that's where Natalie and I differ, I guess.
And now I think it's time for a hot shower and a soft bed.

To all of you in the hurricane vicinity, I'll keep you in my prayers! We don't see hurricanes here (I'm a Hoosier), sometimes rain but that's about it. I do always cringe when the wind blows the wrong fearing a tornado coming! Anyways, I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers!!!

Well, Nat just threw James under the proverbial bus again to Sharon, Sheila and Ryan. Let's hope he wins HOH and sends her packing.
Sheila is an annoying cow from hell, but Nat is a hypocrite of the highest order. She spews filth about James at any possible opportunity, invents peculiar lies about dear departed Saint Matty, and is generally an all around hateful person. In God's name, no less!

Anne Richards passed away Sept 14, 2006. God bless the Texas Motorcycle Mama!!! Geez folks, don't me cry over her again... I loved that woman and will always admire her tenacity.

I've personally lived in FL, GA, CA, MT, and LA but still ended up back in TX.
Weathered many hurricanes, but Katrina was the worst by far... I moved back to TX from LA that April, but my sister stayed and moved into a house about a mile away from a levy that broke. Lost everything she did, except her life. She's alive and well in our hometown of Houston.
Being from Houston I've weathered my fair share of hurricanes so back to praying for no named storms in '08!

This will be long. I hope some kind blogger takes time to respond even if it's not 'til tomorrow. I didn't know about this site until a few weeks into the season and didn't have the feeds 'til the week James got evicted. I am a James fan but am trying to keep an open mind as so many people keep writing about the countless lies he has told. I only know of two. When he and Chel won HOH he put up Nat and Matt even though he said he wouldn't. The reasoning as I understood was that The house collectively wanted Amanda gone. The only couples guaranteed to play POV were the HOH and the nominees. He wanted the strongest couple out there fighting to keep A&A from getting it. Plus, he knew any other couple did not have the popularity as M&N and there would have been wiggle room for A&A to sway votes. Allison came up with the idea of blindsiding Matt & Nat with Ryan right by her side. Josh was not campaigning against them as he hated Amanda more than anyone but he did want to know where the votes were going so he would not be left hanging. When everyone started asking J&C to tell people how to vote they both declined to get involved and said it was up to the voting parties to decide. Somehow James and Josh were never forgiven for conspiring against Matt. He also got blamed for getting rid of good guy Alex even though everyone wanted Amanda gone.
Second lie-disco ball comp. He promised he would not put Matt or Nat on the block and according to Nat promised no back dooring. I believe he intended to keep the promise. But Sharon and supposedly DR were egging him on to back door Matt. And Matt continued to lie and tried to throw Adam under the bus. I believe that even after that, if Matt had not had a chance at POV James wouldn't have put him up. But Matt threw the POV because he thought his nose was such a lovely shade of brown that James would never turn against him. Technically James kept his promise. He did not put Matt or Nat on the block and since Matt played POV he was not actually back doored. It may be a technicality, but Matt was a dirty dog he would have jumped at the chance to do the same thing to James. As far as the little head games he played with Matt while he was on the block, James went through the same treatment times 10 the week before and Matty was the ringleader in a lot of it. I have never seen him target Nat as she claims. Matt was the one he wanted gone. And just earlier today she said she needed him to make a deal before HOH. That would be impossible. Any deal would be contingent on whether she is telling the truth about evictions tomorrow and since HOH is right after eviction they would not have time to make any deals in between. Yet, a little while ago she was acting like he was an idiot for trying to make a deal with her when she was doing his hair. She told the girls he took her for a fool to think she would make any deals before they even knew who was going to win HOH. The liars in the house seem obvious to me. But I swear I will be open minded if anyone can give me some information I might have missed. So if anyone hates James or thinks he is a liar for legitimate reasons which do not include the fact that he sometimes acts or speaks inappropriately like a lot of 21 year old guys I know, or the fact that he has a couple tacky tattoos which I totally agree with, (they are tacky), let me have it. I am ready to listen. However, "Never trust a kid with pink hair" does NOT count as a legitimate reason for calling him a liar.
well, I know one clip that probably won't be shown here. Did anyone see James just allow a "flash"? I'm on the west coast...it's just before midnight here.
And as BB AD ends, all go to bed except Gnat, who is busy downstairs in the kitchen drawing a nude picture of herself for St. Matt's birthday.

Sorry to tell you but Ann Richards from Texas passed away several months ago.
I'm not from or in Texas but I really enjoyed listening to and watching Ann Richards when she'd speak.
So I heard about her death on the news and I watch news all the time and they showed her picture when they reported about her death, I was sure sorry to hear about it.
Carolyn I believe you are right, Daniele from last season did tie the record with Janelle, for most pov wins and also while being nominated in a row.
As far as your original question that no one seems to be addressing here, DO YOU BELIEVE HER? I think you were asking about Natalie's conversation with James that she will break the tie and keep Josh, I don't believe her at all, Josh is definitely going home, she's just saying that to keep the peace in the house or at least keep herself away from any drama, and also because she wants Josh and James to think Josh is really staying so that when he actually leaves, James will be flustered right before HOH comp. That's just my opinion. She's be CRAZY for real if she didn't get rid of Josh instead of sharon.

Katrina was supposed to come further north into Palm Beach county but headed south toward you Caroline and then to all that destruction on the Gulf coast. Prior to that we had hits from Frances and Jeanne and then there was the terrible hit from Wilma.
I am thankful that 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons are over and pray that there isn't another one.
Now back to BB - is Nat going to (or did she already) sell out James and still be against him?? These people drive me crazy and during last nights show I wanted to smack Sheila so bad. How would she feel if some hag talked that way behind her son's back and then proceed to say "I don't care he needed to hear that" She seems to forget that James is still someones son and he isn't that much older then her own son.

I live in Arkansas. Woooo Pig Sooie! We actually have historical flooding going on right now in our state. FEMA was just here yesterday. It keeps raining and people's houses are literally crashing into river bridges! Rivers are starting to run together. I would like to add to the prayer. Please stop raining in Arkansas!
Ok, back to the game. I'm hoping that James and Natalie make final two. They deserve it, as they are the best players in this house. True warriors! HGs are already mentioning Natalie and how they can't beat her in the final comps. James and Natalie will have to fight to stay in the game, and I think they can do it. I think Adam and Ryan are hoping it's them against Sharon and Sheila in final four. Damn floaters!

Anon @ 11:01 PM. Sorry for going off on Dallas. Actually I was born there and still have many distant relatives in the metroplex. My 'Hell' was my own. Many friends from the past (pre 1990) still there too, but as always friendships fade over time and distance and it just wasn't the same. Part of that was my own fault, and dealing with PTSD too. Part was just our interests had gone different directions.
Actually I love Dallas, but I would have been in 'hell' anywhere we had gone. Home is New Orleans now, and there is no place like home. I clicked my ruby slippers daily. It just took the Wizard (FEMA) 22 months to make it happen.

They are all in Prairie County and close to the White River. I haven't been able to contact them. I saw the devestation in Des Arc and I pray for everyone's safety there.
