7 Days til the Scheduled Finale of BB9
Good morning, Big Brother lovers! Happy Sunday! We're one day closer to the end of this little stretch of addiction and sleepless insanity... Whether the finale happens on the 27th, as planned, or the 29th, in case of a presidential debate, I have to believe production will shoot based on the earlier end date.
What will today bring on the feeds? Well, among other things, the HGs are expecting the Veto Ceremony, and I believe they're correct.
As it stands, all indications and conversations point to Ryan keeping the noms the same and essentially allowing Adam to make the eviction. Ryan is trusting that Adam will vote to evict Sheila, per his promise.
Just a few minutes ago, around 8:20am BBT, the female who wears heels to work made her way up the stairs behind the walls... I've always thought this must be Grodner, since no one else in production would dare wear heels but the Executive Producer... Eh.. Maybe an accountant, but I can't see accounting being housed in the Sound Stage, and the heel wearer's arrival every morning is usually followed shortly thereafter by wake ups.
- As of 10:45am BBT, the HGs are still sleeping soundly. There goes another theory out the window. ;)
The majority of the important conversations from last night have already been covered in earlier posts, so I have but one clip for you this morning, of Sharon telling Ryan that Josh made up the story about him and Neil as one last dig at Sheila, and it comes from Mr Wonderful himself, Quirkydude:

Well kids, I finally got some sleep last night and I feel like I missed at ton (which is nonsense, because it would require a ton to have gone on). I'm still tired though, ugh 5 days without regular sleep.
So today's my birthday, the big 41. What an un-birthday it feels like. I keep having to remind myself, in fact I have to keep reminding everyone, my own dad forgot. I'm gonna spend some time with a friend (if I can stay awake). Though what I really want to do is nap and watch the feeds, then reverse that and do it again.
But it's a beautiful day here and it's my damn birthday, so I'm obligate to have "fun." Ick.
See you all later (you know I'll be back for the show). Don't forget, I gladly accept belated expensive (ok, and cheap too) gifts.

Man, i wish they showed the wrap party on CBS or on live feeds or something. I wanna see what Neil says to about Josh and the whole son thing... poor guy was in the house 10 days and has been pulled into drama without him even being there...
Does Sharon really think she is NOT the MOLE? Then she really is dillusional. After hearing her last night go on and on about everyone that is gone, I was about ready to shoot the TV. Her voice has become more annoying than Sheilas. Please do us a favor and send her to the sequester house. I hope those guys know she is full of crap. Only trying to get votes for herself.
I don't know that as a parent I would want to claim any of the people from this season as mine. I would be so embarrassed and ashamed.

Happy Birthday Jane, and Happy Sunday Carolyn & BB lovers. I am so done with BB after Sheila leaves and as long as Ryan doesn't win first prize I will be a tad happy. Him and Adam are just to gross to watch on the feeds right now, ewwww last night Adam was picking his nose then went into the fridge and put that same hand in the pasta chomping away and Ryan putting his mouth under the kitchen faucet to drink is getting on my last nerve not to mention spitting in the kitchen garbage can. Okay done ranting for today lol, have a great day everyone.
Ooops, forgot to ask, is the first eviction tonight??? I noticed they didn't get their suitcases yet.

Happy B'day, gurrrl. A positive is you got to spend it in the BB House, not the Sequester House. Although being able to spend it with James in Sequester might be more of a positive. Make it a good one, whatever that takes.

Question:
Is Sheila playing the game, or is she truly as "out of the loop" as she would have Sharon believe?
Last night, she professed to be totally unaware of almost everything Sharon was telling her about the machinations of Natalie and her "finger in the pie" in relation to what was happening in the house.
The reason I ask about whether Sheila's lack of knowledge is real or game is because, while in the hot tub last night, after telling Sharon about James coming to her just before his being evicted and him telling Sheila he believed in her and advising her of the realities of what was happening (and who to trust or not trust), she still didn't believe him -- she thought he was the "trickster" who wasn't telling the truth (or so she would have Sharon believe).
Then Sheila goes on to ask Sharon, "You know why James and I fought, don't you?" Sharon said she thought so, and Sheila says, "Because I told him the truth."
So, is Sheila delusional in not realizing James' blowing up at her was because she was telling James one thing while he was overhearing her telling the other HGs something totally different, and he felt betrayed by this woman he truly had some respect for? Does she truly believe the fight was because James couldn't "handle the truth."?
It has always appeared to me that the 21-year-old has always handled the truth better than the 45-year-old single mother.
JMHO. Thoughts; opinions??

As for the next few days... who the hell knows anymore, because due to the back to back shows Tu and We it's not the same scenario as previous seasons.
Remember, they still have to fit in the shopping trip for Ryan and Sharon and this must be done prior to any PoV meeting and eviction... in case Sharon is sent packing (which I believe she is not).

Lying is a tricky thing, especially when you lie so much and to so many, you have to be literally above normal intelligence to keep up with it. Sheila just can't keep up with her lies and has come to believe some of them herself. I don't think Sheila has any game plan, or any strategy apart from the obvious.
I do like her though. I don't think her lying is malicious, just ill-advised. She needs to be more cunning and less reactionary. I believe this is what has made her so little liked in the house and by the viewers.
Sharon on the other hand, is a strategist. She listens and exposes. She isn't a "mole" because moles work for others. She has been lying low and now we are getting a glimpse of who she is playing for, herself. :)
I was just talking with my Sister-in-Law/bb buddy and she brought up a good question.

I agree with you, I would love to see the wrap party broadcast (a la MTV reality programming) -- for reasons listed later in this post.
I do wonder, however, what "drama" you feel Neil was pulled into.
Josh told one, and only one person, and even requested she not tell anybody else (according to the one person -- Sheila -- he told).
He told Sharon what he had done, but explained he did it to affect Sheila during the upcoming HoH and hopefully messing her up during the competition. He didn't tell anybody else (as he had originally planned to do on his way out the door).
Last night, Sheila admitted to Sharon she had told only "the boys" and hoped Josh wouldn't be mad at her for telling them. After Sheila's and Sharon's conversation, Sharon went up to the HoH room and explained Josh's deception to Ryan.
Thus, those people who watch only the CBS broadcast will know nothing of the whole situation, and those who read this blog and/or watch the "live" feeds and BBAD will have found out last night that very few of the HGs, in reality, even knew of the incident.
Because of the low-key nature of the whole thing, I don't really see much of drama for Neil to have to deal with. Not too sure Neil would have much of a problem, anyway. It certainly wasn't anything for Neil to be ashamed of or anything that would hurt Neil.
I'm much more interested in seeing the wrap party to see how Natalie deals with finding out how much America actually saw; how Sheila deals with seeing the broadcasts of her many uncalled-for angry rants about Adam; how Matty deals with his piggish treatment of some of the women in the house; how "X" deals with "such and such" a circumstance (too many to really get into).
Want to start a campaign to CBS to encourage them to broadcast the Wrap Party? I'm with ya, if you're interested. :)
CBS doesn't air the Wrap party because it is also a party for the production, as well as the houseguests - if they aired it, even just on the feeds, they'd have to have production working, instead of enjoying much needed relaxation.
It's when the houseguests get to meet all the people they've been talking too, from the grips to the DR people to the Camera operators - the only glimpses of the wrap party we'll get is what folks who attend decided to share via youtube/myspace - that's how we saw the gag reel and other tidbits from last season.
While getting to see it would be fun, I certainly don't begrudge the production for saying 'hell naw!' and partying the night away instead. (grin)
I just want to see how sickened Chelsia feels when she discovers the truth about James' past exploits. I would demand an STDs test.

Unfortunately, the more I think about it the more I am of the belief that BB will not be amenable to broadcasting the Wrap Party.
I know if I were one of the HGs, a huge part of enjoying the wrap party would be the "total and complete" absence of cameras so I could enjoy myself and not have to worry about how I was being edited for America's amusement.
A reunion show several months AFTER the Wrap Party could maybe be considered a viable option. Yes; no??? Campaign for a reunion instead of Wrap Party broadcast??
P.S. Posting a lot and taking up mucho space this a.m. -- I'm backing off, I promise. ;D

Carolyn -- If I remember right, you responded to a poster earlier in the season that you were changing the graphic of the girl on the banner who is shushing us.
Am I remembering correctly?
I went to the BB10 site (the one you're going to stay with) and bookmarked it, and that girl telling me to be quiet is still there.
Sheesh, I'm being shushed on a "dish" site????? ;p
How about something like the words, "I Am All About the Truth" with the International symbol for 'No' -- red circle with bar through it -- over the words, and both the text and the symbol superimposed over a face with a wide-eyed, "goin' crazy" expression? Just something to get the creative juices flowing. ;)
Sheila is totally delusional. Here is Webster's meaning of the word:
A persistent false psychotic belief regarding the self or persons or objects outside the self.
I don't think we can explain Sheila any better than that. I think she believe's what she says. I truly don't think when or if she watches the show in its entirety, she will be able to see the truth. Nat caught a lot of crap from everyone in that house but I think she had Sheila pegged early on. She backed off Adam some yesterday with her threats if he should turn on her.A
I have to agree with Carolyn though,, Adam could be rolling along with Ryan to be kept off the block. Smart move because he knows if he goes up, Sharon will vote him out to sequester, feeling Sheila is a less threat.
I think it will be interesting to say the least if Adam betrays Ryan one more time. I think the last of the drama is yet to come.
Personally, I feel Adam and Ryan would do much better in the next year, talk circuit wise, than Sheila and Sharon. Even on the BB CBS posts, there are some warnings about Sharon's high pitched voice. Good for BB ratings, bad for a future in networking. A soundman's worst nightmare!!
Sheila,, She is not marketable. Not even close to an Evel Dick. At least ED won comps. Sheila has manuevered herself through this game as an " I don't get it " bird brain. Time for her to go. Let's see if Sharon has more to give. If nothing else, she will chew her lip off.

CBS is a major network, to broadcast the wrap party all they have to do is have a different production crew do it. It's not that hard to figure out.

Oh yes, I so hope you all are right, exciting to see them not knowing what is up, at least they are not talking about the third couple, laugh...drama already with shiela...think her and adam will fight today, when the DR tells them to pack...stress will go sky high from shiela, and I bet she starts full on kissing up to adam, with tears and all.
Re: Wrap Party Show. Never gonna happen. This is a party for the cast and crew, AND, the BB alumni to enjoy without cameras. I read a lot of sites after from people at those wrap parties (Marcellas' has been one of the best, but of course it's all about him, but with pics of the party.)

Now for those who didn't get gifts to Jane in time. You still have time to shop and ship for my birthday. Send everything Priority Mail on Monday and I should get it by Wednbesday. Is it me or is there more than usual drug users in the cast this year. I hate to see Adam or Ryan win, they have admitted to using and will use some of their money on drugs. Shame on CBS and the producers.
