Just opening the post so everyone can comment here while the Tuesday Show is on. :)
I don't have anything particularly nice to say, so...
No, I take it back... By this time tomorrow night, either Sharon or Natalie will be evicted, and we will have a new HoH. A final 4 HoH. Final 4. Incredible. 12 days left to the whole season.
The final words from the announcer tonight made no mention of a double eviction tomorrow, so I sincerely doubt there will be one.
We'll just have to wait and see how everything plays out.

Do you ever get the feeling that the HGs forget that eventually that have to leave the house and face their family and friends and strangers on the street who all know how badly they've acted??? I can't imagine Natalie, Ryan, or Baller going into a job interview after the show and trying to be serious.

They will all have to go back to their lives after this but really Sheila thinks this show might even get her, her own talk show, she was thrown that idea out to Adam last night! I loved the way Sheila announced the results. It killed me how syrupy her voice was yet full of barbs for Natalie.
ReplyDeleteWhen is the reality going to come out on this and the boys realize that if any of the girls win HOH, it will be necessary to put one of the boys on the block. Regardless. The numbers are fact. There will be 2 gals and 2 guys left. Whether Sheila, Sharon or Natalie are there and one wins HOH, they can only put one gal up and the other has to be one of the guys. The same holds true of the guys winning, but they will undoubtedly put up 2 gals. And the gals dont see this. All are too focused on Natalie to see beyond the end of their noses. The guys will have no chance with Sharon in F2.

How staged was the party surprise? Sheila walks out of the house and turns right with no reason to go that way since the only thing over there is the washer and dryer and pool table. Only to hear "SURPRISE" and turn to her left to see the party. Normal path would to to come out and go to the chaise or couch which is eliminating the surprise impact for the producers show.

Why are people so sick of Osama bin Laden? All of the other terrorists say they want to destroy the United States too. I mean, they're all terrorists. Osama is just getting called out because he was responsible for destroying the World Trade Center and part of the Pentagon and killing almost 3,000 people. Aren't people being a little rough on Osama? Other people are guilty of almost the same thing.

- Shiela is safer

* So, they kick out Sharon and Natalie targets Shiela. Shiela can't win HoH, and can't vote if she's on the block. She's guaranteed to go home no matter what next week if Natalie stays and Adam doesn't vote out Ryan/Natalie instead of Shiela.

Are we 100% sure that the finale is on April 27? Cause Julie hasn't mentioned the date right? Every season when she sends someone to sequester she usually says see you back here on "Sept. 21" or whatever date the finale is, and I don't recall her saying the date this season so far. I also was looking thru my Cable listings and on April 27, it says nominations for eviction are announced, it doesn't say finale. How is it that we got the April 27th date? I don't remember now, can someone refresh my memory. Thanks

I don't want to make it sound as though I've got some kind of adversarial relationship with commenters here. Some folks have opinions exactly the opposite of mine, and yet I respect them immensely. Biskit comes to mind immediately, but there are certainly others. I would never expect anyone to change their opinion to match mine just because my opinion is deeply felt.
ReplyDeleteI do really dislike people who lack a sense of humor. It's always been that way. Back in high school, I was surrounded by tons of those idiots, so while the few intelligent people realized what was going on and sat back for the show, I started wearing black cloaks with hoods and chanting to myself between classes. This being the pre-Columbine 80's, most every kid in the school was soon terrified of Dave the Satan Worshipper. The next year, most all of us who were in on the obvious "joke" left to go to a really great state-run boarding school far, far away, and lived happily ever after. That may sound elitist, but it was really just because we all got carpal tunnel syndrome in our eyes from rolling them so much.
Working offshore for five years didn't make me any more appreciative of craven worms with no brains, and the result of those years is that I could write a book about how to get under the skin of dumb people. I weigh 300 pounds, and I'm pretty solid, yet I've never given in to the temptation to bully anyone. (I'll admit that I've used my 0-gauge septum ring and a steady stare to clear the way in crowded bars, but hey--it's way easier than saying "pardon me" 10,000 times.) If someone can't take sarcasm meant to highlight their own idiocy, however, I figure they get the frustration they deserve.
And now I've explained myself, at least in part. I feel much better. :-)

I just looked at CBS.com schedule and it shows the last show is on the 27th. So i am going with that for the finale. I am sure Julie will mention it tomorrow. :)

And of course, the anti-Natalie argument has nothing to do with who lied more or backstabbed more--it is Big Brother, after all. Either these people are dumb, or disingenuous, or both.
Trying to absolve Natalie of her atrocious in-house behavior is like arguing that Charles Manson should be set free because he wasn't the only man who occasionally had bad aim while pissing--it just completely misses the point. But of course, you knew that!

If not this... could there be a F3 and not a F2... where maybe the viewers get to participate too? There hasn't been a lot of interaction this season.

Its settled. Sharon must go tomorrow. I can't wait to see Sheila come apart after being betrayed. BB and the hgs have set up Nat for her eviction but weverybody is expecting it, especially Sheila, who's life in the house depends on it. Let's shake it up a bit and have the guys double cross Sheila the doublecrosser. What fun!!! It would keep me glued from Wednesday on th feeds, BBAD and the shows(I'm aaadicted to all 3 and Dish). Can't stand Nat at all but Sheila the hypocrite equals her. How she talks about Gnat making everything about herself. Guess the 45yr old single mother who spends all her time making it about her missed that. Remember she even turned her talk with Ryan after his grandfathers death to herself. Let this HOH reign bite her in the A##. Turn about is fair play and great TV. Next week could really be explosive, otherwise just painfully boring. Sheila being cocky at getting her goal is just annoying, seeing Gnat stay and Sheila flip out would be great.Could you see Sheila trying to realign with Nat again? Oh what tangled webs we weave. Carolyn--after the dealing with the tax stuff yesterday and today, and blogging at the same time, you've got a far better excuse to be sleepy than I do. Speaking for myself (but probably most others as well), I wouldn't be sad to see you go get some much-needed rest. With all you do here, I feel grateful for whatever you can provide--which is always a lot anyway!

2. That leaves essentially 2 versus 1. Yes it would be that way anyway, but given other HOH comps, Sharon is statisically less likely to win whereas the boys have won multiple times.
3. In that scenario, Sharon and Sheila go up. Sharon goes home. Leaving Ry-bread, Baller, and Sheila.
Toss up from that point. Bottom line, if they keep Natty, they risk her getting a backlash vote. They hated her and her game but hate you more for not getting her out when you couldn't (ie Evel Dick).
Thank you, evie! I have more fun on nights when I'm lighthearted about things (like last night) than nights when I'm bored with the HGs (like tonight), but I'm glad that I'm not irritating the hell out of everybody here by being cranky...lol

My guess is that with no double eviction tomorrow, there will be a special live eviction on Sunday. That way, there is time for final three comps Sunday night through Tuesday and then the last eviction on Wednesday next week. That leaves four days for only two people in the house and all the proceedings that take place to decide the winner during the finale Sunday week.

ReplyDeleteOptic Carpal Tunnel really is the pits, and even the treatment is dangerous. I heard from the friend of a friend that years ago, Joan Rivers' doc tried to cure her OCT with Botox. The results were tragic, I think you'll agree.
The two dum dums need to keep Gnat and use her to get rid of sanctimonious Sheila. They do not want Sharon and Sheila together. Keeping Natty will guarantee that Sheila has noone to ally herself with. Sheila and Sharon are just two annoying pests buzzing in my ear. Nasty Nat is someone you either root for or hate but she's anything but boring, atleast R/A/N would be fun to watch in F3 and can't we all see Sheila punishing the guys. I really want to see them grow a pair and go against her majesty and put her in her place next week. She wears that robe like it was ermine. All she needs is a crown, Its a shame they didn't have Joshes tiara. Please lets see her get knocked down a peg. If I didn't already have feeds I'd pay all over again just for that. Its been looking like the last week and a half would be so boring I'd have to bail. Glad the guys might liven things up.

ReplyDeleteI think there are several valid methods for choosing favorites, but I'm pretty solidly in the "choose based on emotion" category. As such, my personal favorites for F2/(F3) would be Sheila, Sharon, (Adam).
That's not based on gameplay at all, which is something that I find very difficult to objectively evaluate over all 3 months in the house, especially with this cast.
Reality TV bleedover. I flipped over to Hell's Kitchen tonight, and someone said "She threw me under the bus." Argh! And I thought I was going to die if I heard it one more time on BB.
