Good afternoon, BB lovers! The boys are finally up, thanks to BB calling an exterior lockdown at 12:30pm, which ended at 12:45pm BBT.
Josh & James both headed immediately back to bed.
Ryan and Adam are up and about.
The ladies are still tanning... Sheila and Sharon are on the chaise. Natalie's in the pool complaining that the people she's stuck with here are boring, and it was so much more fun when Matty was there (talking smack about her to everyone, pushing her away and avoiding her at all costs).
After a few minutes in the pool, Natalie joins Sharon and Sheila on the chaise lounges. They're talking about Allison and some guy names John... Sheila hopes Allison brings him to the wrap party.
Adam and Ryan rejoin the women outside. Sharon tells Baller he's gonna have so many women lined up waiting for him. Sheila joins in, but adds that the baby food might have turned some of them off.

Adam's on the hammock.
Ryan's laying on a towel next to the women on the chaise lounges.
James is in bed, alternating between open and closed eyes...
Josh is not in bed and visible on any feed at the moment.

***Shhh, I'm hunting wabbits. Perhaps the talkers have reached their quota for the day? Nope, spoke to soon... Sheila's gearing back up. And Nat... and Ryan.. ok, conversation - idle chatter...

At their request, Sheila's giving the HGs her list of film & tv & video credits.
Josh comes back outside for a little while, gets grumpy after one of the boys intentionally soaks him, and goes back inside to bed.

Josh & James are sleeping the day away in grumpy companionship.
Natalie's taking a break from the others in the sauna.
Adam's in the pool.
Ryan's gotten back in bed, reading the bible.
Sheila's just been called to the DR.

Not a whole lot in the way of game talk this afternoon.
Ryan's in bed again.
James too.
Joshuah's back outside, lying on a cushion on the grass.
Adam's doing endurance training in the pool, at Natalie's encouragement.
(2:03pm Adam's all done - to be fair, he was in there for at least 15 minutes)

hmmm so i read on another blog there's a suspicion that sheila cant read. and now that i think about it, she never really has demonstrated that she can. She's not in the bible club, and if you recall bcak to one of the earliest food comps, she had a lot of trouble spelling simple food words....what do you think about her ability to read?

Regarding the question about Sheila's ability to read (or not): Sheila actually helped Natalie last night to read the word "psychological" when she was reading the BB rules book. However, why was Nat reading the whole thing out loud? Weird...

ReplyDeleteKrista, Nat was reading out loud because Sheila asked her to. When Sheila walked into the HOH room and asked Nat what she was doing Nat replied that she was reading the rule book and that it was difficult to do while listening to music so Nat offered to let Sheila read it while Nat listened to her music. Sheila told her no, that she wanted Nat to read it to her. At that moment I wondered about Sheila's ability to read as well -- maybe that is why she doesn't want to win comps - for fear she'll have to read the instructions or something? But on another note - she did have to read the instructions for the food comp this week right? Or did we see her read them on the show last night? Maybe BB read them to her and didn't televise that part? hmmmmm

Last nights show: Did anyone hear, or wonder, what was meant by the announcer saying at the very end "Who will win PoV and will it be YOU to save either James or Joshua from eviction? Find out Tuesday 8/7c" I think its strange that they would use the word YOU in that whole setup.... did I miss something about voting? Or do you think theres something that we don't know yet about them letting us vote this week?

ReplyDeleteO.k. last post... but I replayed that part 4 times and my hubby wanted to strangle me. I was like "what did they say again?" over and over and over. Anyway, it seemed weird that they would so casually throw something like that in there. But it would be fun if we could vote and APRIL FOOLS the HG's! I just realized maybe that's part of the April fools jokes!!!

ReplyDeleteI just got home from work and like the true junkie that I am, I ran to the computer and came here to get the latest buzz. I swear, my head is spinning!
1- They said "used" not "you" in relation to the vote on Sunday's episode.
2- I'm convinced that Sheila isn't a real person but a new robot launched by a secret scientific group working on humanoids. That's why she keeps droning the same things over and over. Ok. That's mean... (20 lashes with twizzlers will ensue)
3- I'm definitely going to be using the tip jar when I get paid this Thursday because nothing spells appreciation better that the sound of "chaching"!!

I know being bored is likely to make some of the HG easily irritated which makes them snap at each other more. But really, couldn't they have something in the house besides a chess game and a pool table. They need something to occupy themselves besides sleeping.

I finally got to see last nights episode, and I agree with the ones who didn't like the food comp. It was boring. The only suspence was in not showing us how each voted before the end. They could have come up with something much better than that. It was about as fascinating as watching them sleep.

ReplyDeleteHave any of the newly evicted HG been interviewed on the Early Show? I have tried to watch, but missed several parts and never heard them even mentioned even as a "later in the show" type thing.
ReplyDeleteOh, and people don't worry about Sharon's ears, she can talk just as much as Sheila. And when Sharon gets going, it is hard for the others to break in.
Another thing, when this slop time is over, they better pull up an 18 wheeler full of food for the HG. Ryan alone will probably eat twice his weight.
dbltrbl - I agree. The HG's said they "over thought" their answers in the Food Comp, but I think the execs/writers are the ones who over thought that segment. It wasn't a very good competition, and it was beyond boring.

i never heard sheila mention dropping out of school in the 8th grade. And i agree she can probably read slightly, i remember her saying "POV" when it said it in the guinea's cage. But I never heard her read out loud at a comp, or from the rule book and in a clip yesterday she told ryan she'd 'like to have him read her letter if she ever wins HOH' because she'd be 'too emotional'. or....to incapable of reading? hmmm. ReporterX's screencaps only seem to prove she can act like she can read......
