At bb9dish, we cover the Big Brother Live Feeds, so much of what we write could be considered a spoiler for those who only watch the broadcast on CBS. Now, we don't understand why anyone would choose to do that, since it's like forming an opinion based on 1/10,000th of the information, and they could at least try the feeds for free, but what do we know?! Happy Friday, Big Brother lovers! We're on the cusp of actually having credible information, and I am thrilled! The BB9 houseguests & pictures of the house will be revealed next week, and we'll be on it as soon as it happens!

The Golden Rule: Please be kind and respectful to one another. Leave the drama to the House Guests.
2. Please avoid using all CAPS.
3. Comment moderation is on - no need to send repetitively. ;) I'll get to it soon.
4. Comments threatening physical violence to any HG or harassing any other commenter will not be published.

lose the slop! It's not entertaining for anyone. The HG get lethargic, grouchy and boring.
ReplyDeleteYou know.. my husband and I have been saying for years that we think the current HOH should be allowed to play in the next HOH competition. It should be a fair competition for all of them each time!

ReplyDeletelast season, Mike had several "dates" during the hours of Big Brother After Dark on Showtime. It's a pretty widely held belief that those were extremely artificial and manufactured solely for the purpose of entertaining the showtime viewers. A Nice thought, perhaps, but it belittles the game.
I agree about getting rid of the slop. Sluggish and grouchy HG's are NOT entertaining!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I added in the vote that BB needs to make sure the final endurance comp is not too technically complicated so t here are no problems. Otherwise, we have an outcome like last season. I think that ended up cruel and inhuman!
I re-read the comments on current HOH's being permitted to play for the next HOH. I agreed at first, but then got to thinking...
ReplyDeleteMaybe that could be done during the first half of the game, but in the second half of the game, go to the system that has been used. I say that because the current system makes for more strategy, especially in the last few HOH's. The HG's have to decide when to try to win an HOH comp and when to throw an HOH comp (and therefore, willingly risk being put up on the block) in order to use the HOH to get to the end of the game. Otherwise, you could end up with someone that is so good at the comps that they dominate the game. No one else would have a chance. That could result in a boring ending to the game - and maybe boring ratings, if you know what I mean...
I like the strategy aspect of the game, so I'm all for anything that adds strategy.
No sleeping allowed from 12 pm to 9pm.

ReplyDeleteWhy would you guys want to let the outgoing HOH compete the following week?! The show would lose SOOO much drama... it forces the HGs to play a more well rounded game.... i think the fact that outgoing HOH cant compete is part of the shows genius!

ReplyDeleteI hope they go back to changing up the decor of the hoh room each week. I'm a sucka for funky bedspreads and furniture. I was very disappointed in last year's hoh rooms. Did they only change up the decor for season 6? I can't remember if Allstars had any color changes.

ReplyDeleteThe HOH rooms changed for each HG only in the all star season. Just a special touch for a special season...
I would love to see a room decked out for any possible showmances in the the show... I would also like for them to come up with something other than slop...It is outdated and all played out now...
